FS2CREW: PMDG 777

Everything was running just fine, then I installed version 2.1 and now CTD every time. Please fix!! I did a clean install of Windows 10 and reinstalled P3D 3.3.5 from scratch, and downloaded and reinstalled FS2Crew PMDG 777 v2.1. When I hit the C key to bring up the panel, nothing happens. I'm not sure what's wrong. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall fs2crew, disabled and re-enabled the panel in the config manager, and stlil doesn't work. I also tried unassigning the C key in P3D which by default is assigned to COM SELECT. Please help.

Is this possible for the FO to start and prepare the cockpit ready for pushback and all from a Cold & Dark state? I can't figure out how to. I hit GND on the panel and turn on GPU, Air Start Unit, and AC Unit, and then hit PF Events, but the FO takes a long time before she says anything, it took about 10-20 minutes before I heard her say walk around complete and then another 10 minutes for something else which I forgot. How can I make her prepare the cockpit so that it's ready for pushback?

Hi all, is there a way to configure FS2CREW for the PMDG 777 to turn off taxi light before turning on landing lights (and vice versa), as well as keeping the taxi light off for takeoff, approach and landing? I've looked through the forums and manual but have been unable to find it. The virtual airline I fly for has a policy of never using the taxi light and landing light at the same time, and deducts points from my overall flight score when I use FS2CREW as it will turn the taxi light on at several occasions, including runway entry procedure, takeoff, as well as on approach. Hi I am flying the PMDG777-200 and the 777-300. When using voice commands to go through the checklists it automatically opens the wrong checklists each time. Any ideas how to fix this? It still runs through the voice checklist correct it just displays the wrong checklist in the panel. Cheers.

I cannot get any action on the pmdg 777 with fs2crew. There is nothing on the panel to activate it. Am I missing something?

I'm running a fresh install of P3D v3.3, the latest PMDG 777 and the latest FS2CREW. All downloaded fresh from their respective vendors. The problem is that voice control in FS2CREW is not working - whenever I speak, the system does not hear me. No green bar and the first officer or FA does not respond. I have gone through the setup with Windows speech recognition, and that system understands me just fine during voice training and testing. I have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled FS2CREW multiple times and I have checked my speech log file - everything was successful. I have tried everything, and just cannot get the panel to appear on the PMDG 777. FS2Crew works perfectly fine on my other aircraft types, but will just not appear on the 777. - I have bound the correct key, as it opens fine on my Airbus and PMDG 737 aircraft. - The window20 through window24 entries are in the panel.cfg - I have it enabled in the configuration manager - I have triple checked that no other buttons or keys are set that would conflict with mine. I just don't know what to do. I love FS2Crew so much, but just can't get it to work on any of the PMDG 777 aircraft. I am using P3D v3.2 Thanks for any ideas you can provide. -HP

Hey guys maybe someone can help me out I DID a fresh install of pmdg 777-2 and 777-3 and also reinstalled fs2crew { ALL P3D} now i know fs2crew works for p3d... but only on the first flight. the first flight everything works perfict but when i want to do another flight { re sttarting the sim} the voice button is still on and when i give commands no green bar, when i click the voice button p3d goes into an app hang and stops responding. i use asn and fsdt kjfk,kord. gsx/ ut2, and vpilot, like i said it worked when i did a fresh install but when i restarted the simulator and got the fs2crew window open , i said preflight checklist please, and got no gree…

I don't know what happened, but RAAS stopped working after Fs2Crew PMDG 777 V 1.8 updated.

Before start: sometimes it recognizes the v speeds and other time not and I have to skip it. Decent: it does not recognize VREF and then calls back 000 and 200 feet

Hello, I have always enjoyed FS2Crew for year but now I have a problem with opening of the panels after the latest update. I try to open the panels via the "view-menu". Has always worked without issues. When I try to open a panel now I see the outline appearing quickly but no panel visible. The only way I can see the panel is by rightclicking the area where the panel is and undocking it. When I dock it disappears again. Maybe the reason lies elsewhere, but I don't find a solution at the moment. Could you look into this please ? Best regards. Eddy Crequie

Hi Bryan, I've recently noticed that my transponder is no longer being set to 'TA' during taxi. I've triple-checked this over the past five flights or so, making sure the briefing has ASDEX set to yes. It also doesn't seem to make a difference if the "Use TARA" option is set to yes or no. The transponder is still turned on/TARA when doing the before-entry-procedure. This is using v1.7 with the latest T7 version. All other FS2Crew functions seem to be fully operational. Thanks for your thoughts... Edit: I should probably add, this using Prepar3D v3.1 on Win10x64Pro.

Hi, Bryan, just out of curiosity, do you think that with PMDG help for a next update it could be possible for the FS2Crew FO to handle the checklists in the VC, without the 2D screen popup, or that is technically not possible at all? I find the 2D popup quite distracting. Thanks. James

Hello, I do not know if anyone has written here about this, did a little research and nothing , so I'll leave my suggestion. Whem the aircraft start pushback, and the FO receives the order to start engines, he could call the page ENG on Lower Display, because at this stage it is off Another suggestion create a new option on the CFG, to choose whem the FO turn your clock on, Takeoff or Pushback. (because I know captain who prefer start the clock on takeoff and this avoids being both at the same time) They are only suggestions to improve a little more this excellent product. Regards João

Hi After having used FS2Crew successfully for quite some time I now encounter a problem with starting it. Currently I do not even have any reference to FS2Crew panels in the 'Views -> Instrument Panels' option of P3D. Yes, I have 'enabled' FS2Crew via the FS2Crew 777 Config Manager and yes, I am running P3D with Admin rights and also the 777's panel.cfg file shows the FS2Crew entries (as [Window20] to [Window24]). What I did in between the last time it worked correctly: I updated to P2D 3,2, reinstalled PMDG777 (with some additional liveries), reinstalled FS2Crew 1.8, . . . Any good idea would be appreciated. Hi, The reason I asked is I re-installed FSCrew for the 777 after downloading the latest version, now when I load the triple 7, EZDOK can't communicate via simconnect. All view and button controls set by EZDOK are frozen. When I deselect FSCrew from the Options menu and reload the B777 everything is back working fine. I'm hoping you have seen this before and can offer a suggestion. Thanks! Bob

Hi Sorry If I have missed. I own both FSCrew for the PMDG 737NGX and 777 I updated to Windows 10 and FSX stopped working beyond repair. FSX-Steam Work fine and I was able to install both aircrafts in FSX-Steam and they both work perfect. Does the same apply for FS2Crew. Or do I have to purchase the Steam editions. Thank you Bill
