FS2CREW: PMDG 777

Good evening Brian, Just got a new system, P3Dv3.1, PMDG/Aerosoft, all FS2Crew. All the titles work okey except for 777. After the completion of descend check list when I start to descend I don't see that FO switches seatbelts signs to ON and he does not turn lights ON. As a result, I don't hear any other FO interaction before touchdown when I call for clean-up. It happens on each and every flight after I have new sim install. NGX and Airbus FS2Crew works OK. ANy idea what this might be? Thanks Dmitriy

Hi, I have noticed few points on which I would like to have some clarification please: _ When selecting terrain and/or weather as concerns in the departure brief, the FO set up correctly their MFD but not for the arrival as per selection in the approach brief. Let's say weather radar is selected at departure for weather concerns, it remains selected until the end of the flight even if I set terrain concerns in the approach brief. Is it intented? _ If I select myself the terrain display on FO's MFD, they don't deselect it during the after landing flow while they correctly swith off the radar. Hello, Since I am on p3d v3 the main panel disappears when I am in full screen mode. As soon as I deactivate the full screen mode, the panel appears again. Is there a possibility to have the main panel visible also in full screen mode? Kind regards, Tilo

Hi, If I press "CFG" I see "HS: No Such Device." The manual implies that this may be an Administrator issue, but I've never run anything flight sim related as Administrator at any point in the last 6 years, including the installer for this. P3Dv3 lives in F:\Prepar3D_v3 and the FS2Crew NGX Reboot works great, as well as every other addon I've used, with nothing run as Administrator. Hi I am facing poor speech recognition. So e.g. numbers in commands like "SET ALTITUDE FOUR THOUSAND" or "SET HEADING ONE TWO ZERO" sometimes get totally mixed up. What I am now wondering is how to train the speech recognition profile. I am using FS2Crew for the PMDG 777, Prepar3D v3.1, on a Windows10x64Pro installation, with a headset/microphone for the voice control/input. The operating system language is (Swiss)German. The 'Language' setting on the Speech Properties -> Speech Recognition page however is set to "ENGLISH - US" (as needed). as the title says after i installed and enabled fs2crew voice control i have no in-game sound, disable it and it works again. anny ideas for a fix?

I˙m having a minor issue with the 777 FS2Crew panel. The text on the panel is out of scale and doesn`t fit the panel`s window as you can see on the attached image. I got this problem when I switched to 1440p monitor. The text on the 737 Reboot and Majestic Dash-8 panel is OK. I believe there is on option to adjust the text scale in the panel.cfg file? Simmers, Having recently purchased (and fallen in love with) the NGX: Reboot after owning the legacy version for years, there were a few things I was wondering with regards to the 777. Specifically, if any of the new features rolled out in Reboot could be implemented in a future FS2Crew 777 update. Now, as obviously neither a real-world 737ng nor 777 pilot, I do not know the intricacies of CRM with regards to the 777, and these calls could indeed only be present in the 737, and not part of 777 SOP, though I imagine at least some of these are used by 777 carriers. Hi, Juts a quick question hopefully... I have the 777 version installed but if I access the FS2Crew Start Center, am I correct that 777 does not show up as a tab? I only have tabs showing for MD-11 and 747 from PMDG. I assume the Start Center is no longer in use and each FS2Crew now comes with it's own Configuration Manager. True?? Thanks,

Hi, First of all, a great 2016 for all with hope, love and $ome fun. On the first day of the year, 777 pilots woke up with a nice gift from PMDG: 250MB of VAS for their hungry beast. But, after downloading, installing, and integrating it to FS2Crew, as soon as the panel was connected to the plane, a woman's voice from FS2Crew immediately informed to contact support due to a SDK error. Well, I stubbornly insisted on proceed and, after some arguments with my co-pilot, we could took-off from Miami to Denver. The first thing you see is a "SDK error". Hi all I purchased the fabulous product last night, however, when I attempt to run the pre flight events, a windows alert sound keeps playing every 5-7 seconds. There is no window that I can see that is displayed, and only happens upon running the pre-flight events. Any idea what could be causing this? Happening with P3Dv3. This is an updated version of the reference sheet I created last year (mentioned here). It contains a summary of all the flows and the voice commands required to go through them. It is designed as a 2-page sheet (to be printed as such and perhaps laminated) with the gate/stand to cruise phase on the first page and cruise phase to gate/stand on the second page. In the end there is also a small reference of the most used (for myself at least) voice commands. Additionally there is a second 2-page sheet containing all the voice commands, as they are listed on the manual. Hi, I can't work out which version I need for PMDG 777? Is it Captains Set or Voice and Button Control Set only? I've read both and not really sure what the difference is between them both? And do all FS2Crew work with FSX Steam ? Thanks Jason

Hello, on version 1.5, I have configured FS2Crew to automatically press the QNH knob to set Standard or local QNH. It works ok during climb, when I call "transition altitude satndard set", the button is pushed by the F/O and STD is set. During descent, passing the transition level, I call "transition level, altimeter reset xxxx" (xxxx is the local pressure in hPa preset before TOD), the F/O press the knob, QNH becomes local, but the voice says "1013", and on the standby altimeter, the QNH is set but reverts to inches whereas it is set as HPa before. Then I call "Approach Checklist", and the F/O push the button again and the QNH is set to STD again. Stephane

Hi Friends, according to manual, before TOD I should set informations in BRIEFING PANEL - so I set DA/DH for example BARO 380. Is there a way to FO automatically set minimums on PFD? Yesterday I made a flight and had to manually set DA. And why is necessary to set in briefing panel DA/DH or other informations like STAR/VECTORS, if I often don't know what procedure and what approach I will get from ATC (I fly on Vatsim)? Unfortunately, my FO does not "assist" me in this matter. So, I checked the manuals for both the 737NGX and the 777, read some topics about this issue and sometimes I found that the PIC has to operate the Ldg Lights manually. I am using both these add-ons... but I'm not hearing any voice from FS2Crew. I am able to use the panels and stuff, everything appears to be working, there's just no audio feedback at all.

Hi Together, I updated FS2Crew to V1.6 and now i only have "Black Squares instead of the FS2Crew Manuals". First directly after the "update" P3D crashed when i started FS2Crew. Now i only have black squares left :( I allready uninstalled and reinstalled FS2Crew and also updated to the latest nvidia drivers but it seems nothing helps. Hello, I just purchased and installed FS2Crew Captains Edition. After uninstalling and reinstalling FS2crew, running both the FS2crew install and FSX itself as administrator, confirming UAC is disabled, enabling FS2Crew in the config manager, confirming FS2Crew exists in the panel.cfg, I am still not seeing the panels pop up inside the cockpit. I am running Windows 8.1 and FSX: SE Any advice? EDIT: Fixed - needed to assign a key (autofeather)! Thanks, Lenn

Hi there, There are two version of FS2Crew on the website; Captain's Set and Voice & Button Control. I'm confused whether they run independently of one another, or are both required and therefor not sure which one to get? I tried finding out via Google searches but no luck.
