FS2CREW: PMDG 777

Hi I turn the autopilot off and the master alarm goes off I turn the light off on the master alarm but the sound still goes off any ideas to turn the alarm off please thanks

On the NGX, I'm used to calling "set VREF plus 5". On the 777, the command seems to be recognized, but the PNF always gives me a hard time: "Are you sure about that?". That happens in landing configuration, meaning VREF + 5 wouldn't be below the amber tape. Just wondering if it's a glitch.

The program installed, but when I tried to run the Config Manager, Norton anti-virus stopped it and quarantined fs2crew.exe saying it had the SONAR.Heuristic.120 virus. What gives? :huh:

Want to get FS2crew for my 777. Never used FS2Crew before. What headset would you recommend using?

Hi, After the F/O starts the Descent flow I am getting an EICAS DISPLAY SELECT PNL failure being on the paper checklist. With ECL selected I am getting the same, but in addition the MFD Checklist window pops-up and stays open (being in the way e.g. over the ND if looking straight out for landing). Regards Perry

I have changed my client from fsinn to vpilot but FS2CREW still thinks I am running fsinn. Any help is appreciated Don Emerson

After a couple of flights, it appears that most of the things work perfectly. Excellent product enhancing the flight experience! Just one notice regarding the dome light. It has three positions, off --> on 1 --> on 2. As part of the captain's preflight procedure during the night the dome light must be turned on, i.e. on 1. Afterwards the FO will come and also manipulate the dome light putting it to on 2, i.e. one more turn clockwise. Then during the before start flow, instead of closing the dome light he FO just moves it from on 2 to on 1 instead of closing it completely, i.e. only one turn counterclockwise instead of two turns counterclockwise. Hi Bryan, Thanks for a nother excellent addition to your wounderful FS2Crew collection. However, I must say the Gate Agent must have really had a bad day - or just no manners. Not like the one handling the NGX.... He just tosses the papers into the cockpit with some comment like: "Here is your loadsheet" - and when he is wellcomed with a friendly Thank You - he doesn't even bother to replay......;-)) otherwise perfect, Job well done.... Maybe for V1.1 ... can you get the FO to do some hourly fuelchecks during cruise.... otherwise its really slow upthere..... kind regards

When i Say Approach Checklist it will start with Altimeters, then Auto Breakes. But what must i say by "Landing Data. When I say set and Checked nothing happens and i can´t go further. Just want to say thanks for your work on the T7 version. I only use the button control and it is more user friendly then any previous version, it is more in depth and the audio seems better. Being old school I'll have to get use to a female FO but I'm sure I will.

Hi All, Congrats for the 777 job. Since the 25th Oct, I’ve made 3 flights to get used and liking it a lot. My mode is “Button”. I have some impressions to share here, but the most remarkable is the FO’s “I am ready for the checklist!” talk which I missed during the pre-flight phase (unless I skipped some other trigger). Using the NGX, the FO says this at all phases and this helps a lot a “distracted” captain, or even one too preoccupied with a complicated flight plan input in the FMC. I tried to activate the product, the activation screen loaded, couldn't type anything,, then crashed. Since then I haven't been able to load it. Should I reinstall and try again? Thanks, Rob Sciarrino

Hi there, Not too sure what is happening but when I have FS2Crew active I can not adjust the Take Off TRIM. I can see the movement of the buttons on the yoke but the trim wont adjust. I reset the Yoke Key again but it still wont move and is stuck on 4.00. Any clues? Cheers

hello im a fs2crew user on 737. which works fine. i tried yesterday this 777 fs2crew in a vocal mode. worked fined in a vocal mode. ok. to day i wanted to tried the button mode , there is no trigger when i push the main button (alternate static). and now- no sounds at all, even in the test panel. i tried all combinations of settings, headset-speakers-default-etc...reboot 10 times, nothing. the sound is gone ! and nothing works now. i m very disapointed with that product! spend hours to have it work! ty for help if any... ps* i read the troubleshooter 10000 times...

When the flight attendant returns after knocking on the door, the sound fades out and cuts in and out. It is the only sound I have found that does this. Any thoughts? I did an uninstall and reinstall.

Hi, I am lazy and I don't want to read the manual. I want to fly as soon as possible. I can't find the click spot on the 77 to bring up the main panel. can someone point out where it is? Thanks EDIT: Never Mind. I found the spot in the manual that points out the procedure,

I have installed FS2Crew for the 777 (as admin) and registered the product. I have also assigned the button presses to Alternate Static (Letter "C"). When I press C, nothing happens, the main panel will not open. I have also reinstalled but did not help. I have disabled and re-enabled as well. I have also checked the -200 Panel CFG and the FS2Crew window 21 is there along with a few other FS2Crew windows so it should work. Note that if I change the altimeter and then press B, it resets to 1013 so my keyboard and other assignments are working. Any ideas?

I have custom made FA announcements for particular airlines in FSFK so I want to disable FA announcements in FS2crew, is it possible?

It seems I am unable to assign keys that work for Soft Mute and Hard Mute. For Soft Mute I have used Backspace (which is the PTT key for FSInn). It is removed from any other assignment in FSX controls and is sent to the sim via my FSUIPC programmed joystick trigger. Although it is set to be repeated while held (as it is supposed to), when I press the PTT button, MUTE appears momentarily on the FS2Crew panel and then disappears. For Hard Mute I have been using Ctrl+Shift+Z successfully for the NGX but since in the 777 it is assigned as a shortcut for the aircraft itself through the FMC, I decided to use Ctrl+Shift+X, X and some other keys or key combinations withou…

Hi Bryan, I had a good initial trip from Manila to Denver with the US crew; thanks for the release. I would like to report that no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the DA box in the Arrival Briefing Panel to change by 100's (clicking in the DA box itself). The 1's and 10's changed as expected, but the 100's was inop.; which when arriving into Denver at 5326 ft., the issue was obvious. Please add to your v1.1 investigate list. Thanks and regards,
