PMDG 777

Is there a way of de-activating the License other than through the FMC and without FSX working?

Hello Guys, I got Alpha Channel issues on my right Panel Flood Light at night and as well the Right Arm Height of the F/O. The light doesn`t come at night and i got this brighter weird texture. Is it something related to the file bkg.bmp? Is there dds texture issues from PMDG 777? Please Help me.

Hello All I have checked the forum to see if the issue listed below has been covered. I can't find anything about it so here it goes... After taking off from TAPA at 22:30 (so the sky was dark) I noticed that while my cabin lights were set to 90% the pax windows remained dark/black. I then noticed that the windows that used to be see though are now blank, you can't see though them into the cabin and they remain dark no matter what I do (so they remain black with lights on 100% or on automatic (100% or 75%). I am using the PMDG British Airways repaint (G-STBB). This is the only aircraft I fly on FSX so I can 100% confirm they were working before PMDG's latest u…

Recently I have been flying from Gatwick to Antigua as BA 2157. After Antigua the plane flies on to one of three destinations which are Tobago, Punta Cana and St Kitts. Tobago and Punta Cana are approx 400 NM from Antigua. St Kitts though is only 65 NM from Antigua. I assume that you can't board the BA 777 at Antigua and just fly to anyone of these destinations therefore the St Kitts hop is only part of a longer route. Yet in my view it still counts as a flight. When I have the time I intend to do this short hop! My question is does anyone know of an even shorter 777 passenger flight?

Has anyone experienced this? Just noticed my N1s are missing.

Hello, I've just bought the 777 base back at aerosoft.com. I have a big complicatet problem, i try to tell what happens. When i start a flight with the 777 (with fmc etc.) all is great. Then i take off and and fly a bit manual later on i put on the autopilot and i engage LNav and VNav. The plane is following the route and climbs. But at one point the problems are starting: First I get a CabinAlt waring with 999999 ft. 30 seconds later i get something like a autopilot disagree so the ap, Lnav, Vnav is engaged but the plane slowly starts getting off the route, accelerating and do what it want's. At this point I switched AP modes to heading select, speed and alt hold. Still …

Is a product like PFPX required for users to use the 777? I have successfully flown the tutorial 1 flight to Dubai. Now I want to create my own flight. But when programming the departure entry and route entry it seemed that I need to be able know the desired airway and it's name. In the tutorial, the airway is told to you in the instructions. Now I just need help in knowing how to find research the airways/routing options and how to pick them properly. For instance, I'm trying to fly CYYZ to CYWG. Hello. When I start an FsPassengers flight with the 777, after I've taken off I get a message from FsPassengers which says that I am not allowed to change the fuel load in flight. I also had this with the 737, but I figured out I had to set the fuel amount BEFORE starting FsPassengers. I do the same with the 777, but the message keeps coming back sometimes. and when I press Close, FSX crashes. This mostly happens right after takeoff, about 10 seconds after getting airborne. Do other people also have this problem? Anyone knows how to solve this? Thanks.

Hello, All: I did a search but was unable to find a topic regarding the distribution of VA (Virtual Airilne) repaints. I understand we are to provide only the textures as the user is required to have a licensed installed copy of the PMDG 777. I've recently painted several aircraft for a VA (different divisions) but I haven't posted them yet as I wanted to make sure I do it correctly. Is it acceptable to provide a download of only the textures, texture config file, and thumbnail for others to use for this or any PMDG product? If this sounds obvious, my apology. Thank you, Will T. Did not think I could fly without the 2D panel.....but I can. I haven't got EZDOK yet but if it makes the flow smoother and just as easy to adapt I will get it. Did KSEA to PHNL today. 5.25hrs and a perfect landing. Loving this bird. Randy Smith

Wondering out loud. ​My P3D keeps crashing randomly without warning while in flight with my Trip7. ​The last few flights the navdata hasn't been upto date fresh install since 3.1 (lazy) With that in mind, if I planned a PFPX flight with say the 1513 data, but I was using the original shipped ND could the sim crash when it gets to a point that no longer exists because the trip 7 cant handle it, or would it just ignore the point that's not there and carry on any way? ​I'v updated the navdata now so I might not ever find the cause. but none the less I'm going to strip my sim back to nothing and see if I can find the cause of these random crashes. sigh. ​(n…

Hi, during my first flight on IVAO with PMDG777 I found, that IVAP client change active frequency with him self. Have you seen same problem Online ? With other plane is everything good without self changing frequency on IVAP. Thank you

Hello PMDG!! ​Its been 10 years since I purchased a PMDG product (stuck on FS9) but I have now made the switch to Prepar3d. For Christmas I asked Santa nicely for a New 777 and he has granted that wish, (well two seeing as he's thrown the 300ER in as well. Hello guys, I bet you can answer this in a second. Was searching for the answer for days now and cannot find anything about it. My problem is: How can one set the Spoilers in VC? If I go with the mouse to the lever and press / hold the left mouse button the spoilers will slowly extend. Right mouse will retract them... That's how I do it at the moment. But this takes forever! I have a data link fail showing on my CDU and I cannot find how to reset it for nomal operation. So I cannot upload any of my flight data. Any ideas how I handle this?

Fianlly got of the ground in PMDG Tutorial 1.5. Changed to chase view and this is happening.... Partial loss of the aircraft's fuselage skin and texture color on wings changed... Never happened before and have been using it the original tutorial..... Enroute from KIX to AMS with a fully loaded B77W KLM. I noticed during climb, my recommended flightlevel is much lower then my optimal flightlevel. Why is that?

Hi! Have anyone else got the problem that the ILS on the NAV/RAD page doesnt autotune? It have happened on all my flights, but the last one between ESSA-ESGG I paid attention to what I did;-) I selected my approach ILS03 and MOXAM1L arrival at ESGG during my descent I got a message saying something like "ILS/CRS FREQ ERROR" or something similar. Then i checked my FMCs NAVRAD page and it said ILS freq 113.00 or something like that. The samething has occured for all my approaches. I am using the latest airac from NAVIGRAPH /Niklas

I got a problem with 8x time compression. When the aircraft reaches a waypoint even in the same heading to the next or a difference less than 5 degress the aircraft starts banking inverted to the route and continues always banking at the limit Anyone experienced this ?

Went to use my 777LR after a few weeks away from FSX to find that I am unable to load any flightplan or navdata. Created a flightplan with PFPX, as normal, went to load the flight through 'route request' on FMC, the FMC goes through the process of sending the request, advising that the uplink is ready, I then select 'load' and it then starts going through the process of loading but then shows an error 'INVALID ROUTE UPLINK'. this happens whatever the route I used of the 14 stored, that I have used previously. Hi all, I am trying to make interior repaint for PMDG777. I tried to update their economy seats to the CX ones. I converted the dds to tga and back to dds after editing in photoshop. Meamwhile, once I enter the game, the texture only appears when the cabin lights are off. Once the cabin lights are on, all my textures are gone and the seats remains its old texture. I tried to find other texture files with the seats texture but I can't find any. Is there anything I have missed when converting the dds to tga? Attached is a screenshot for you as a reference.
