PMDG 777

Hi guys and gals, ever since I updated the PMDG 777 and 77W extension I am experimenting a weird phenomena on my lights. It shows two small cones on the light one red and one blue...has anyone got the same issues...

I've tried the FSX keys 1 and 7. I've tried dragging the Trim handle. I've tried gently kicking my iMac (while In Bootcamp) I've tried finding the answer with Google. But, so far, with no luck. So now I'm hoping for help from The Oracle. Cliff Harris (In Spain)

When I uninstalled the t7 for the update I noticed that now I got 2 exes for operation centre updater when I re installed the t7. Although it appears both work was wondering on how to remove the second one

Hello, I have 3 questions about step climbs, and I couldn't find an answer elsewhere, I guess you have the knowledge and experience I lack to help me with these. So: I was flying a 777F from NTAA to PHNL. When I was on the ground, I requested the PERF INIT page and I got FL320 as my CRZ ALT. I checked the LEGS page and I noticed that I'm climbing at FL340, not in a particular waypoint. Checking the PROG page, it was ~1320NM to step climb. Before reaching that point, I could clearly see the S/C point on the ND. I set the MCP alt to 34000 and the pitch mode was VNAV PTH. At about 20NM prior to that point, the S/C on ND disappeared, and in the PROG page the distance…

hi, i have read some topics about trims problems but i didn't find one relating mine. i have just started a flight with the 777, everithing is fine and configured as it should, espacially the trim. couple of seconds after rotation, the aircraft pithes down, alone. I mean without any controls input...., ok, i look down the trim is moving down itself without command.auto trim, yes ok but not possible that way.... Ok i stabilize the aircraft, perfect stabilzed cruise flight at low altitude, suddenly its starts again, pitches down or up (it goes on a way or the other) without any input from me. It sounds like a bug, the aircraft is impssible to fly... please help!

My priorities in a Flight Planner are: 1. That it can create Flight Plans with the ability to select and include the optimal SID and STAR in an easy manner. 2. That easily exports the final Plan into the FMC of the PMDG 777 I have course read reviews of both "FS Build" and "Flight Commander" but would be really interested too learn more from Members. Hi, I consider to buy the PMDG and then make my own PFD on an external device (a Raspberry). Is there any SDK coming together with the PMDG when buying? I need to extract information that is specifically related to the PMDG displays.

Is there any way to link the FSX and P3D PMDG 777 flightplan folders other than by copying the flightplans back-and-forth? I have FSX and P3D installed on separate drives. I use both depending on my "mood of the day." Thanks.

1. Fs2 Crew Panel Cpt Set Voice & Botton with RAAS Pro was operational after dowloadfing the PDMG 777-200LRX and was assigned ket at thet the joystick's. Once purchased and dowload the expasion program of "PDMG 777-300EX" the panel no longer appears on the screen when activated. Any suggestion to fix this problem?? 2. Additionally, I was having problems with the panel prior to the above listed issue. I was getting a "SDK Error msg"...could you assist?

Hello Guys, It has been 17 days since the PMDG 777 update was released and Aerosoft has not made accommodations for those who purchased the program from them to get the update. Roberts release day post said that they would have it out after Christmas. Can PMDG provide me assistance or put a push on Aerosoft to release the update. Regards Randy Smith

I was flying into KTPA in the -300er.. I was assigned a heading of 180 for downwind to 01L.. Turned heading to 180, clicked heading select and the plane kept turning to about 240, I had to disconnect A/P to get the heading right.. Then on turn to base, it overshot the heading by 10 degrees and turned back to correct itself.. I'm on P3D version 3.1... Can someone test this? Tony Fontaine

I was under the impression that the 777 did not have a feature where visible ice build up on the windshield showed up. However the other night I was in transit from YMML (Melbourne) to KSAN (San Diego) and a few hundred miles southwest of Hawaii i ran into some ferocious thunderstorms. I was too heavy to climb any higher than 35,000 feet and the storms were really widespread making it difficult to go around so like the bad capt that I am I plowed through. The lightening was really intense so I ended up turning on the Storm lighting in the cockpit. That's when I noticed what looked like ice building up along the edges of both front windshields. I planned a MDPC->PANC flight. Did everything accordingly and everything went ok. But.. SAT isn't working in LSK2L. VHF L in 122.800 with MIC light on VHF C as DATA. Radios lights are all yellow not green. What I'm doing wrong? Tks

Hello guys, I was told that there is a new update for the 777, this will be my first update since I got this product only a few months ago, now I did the new installation and I'm should be good to go, my question is; what's the changes on the new update, the same person told me that the Virtual memory is less now but I didn't understand that, can anyone please explain maybe in general how this help and also other change on this update please? I can't seem to get Virtual Avionics CDU on my Nexus7 to connect to the PMDG 777 1.10.6492 (P3D v2.x). I have the VA CDU for the PMDG 737 and that connects just fine, no issues. Tried to get to the Virtual Avionics site and just get a "Site is down for maintenance". Anyone else using the VA CDU with the current 777? If so, any issues? If no issues, what version of VAInterfaceLite.exe are you using? I'm on 2.11.1.12474 ... the VAInterface.dll is 1.0.3.11033 and is in the Modules folder and is enabled in DLL.XML. Cheers, Rob. Hello everyone, Today I went to install the latest PMDG 777 update. It said to log into the ecommerce, and view previous orders. I went on the pmdg website, logged in, went onto previous orders, but I could only see my 777 order from a few months ago. No new update... Am i doing something wrong? Joe Maynard

Hi I just competed updating the 777s from the jan 2016 update. I was about to do my first flight and was setting up the A/C payload and fuel. I noticed that once I had entered my load level, it began to drift upwards. It has now done this regardless of how I input the data. By that I mean whether I enter a percentage or enter data in via the individual cabins and baggage sections. So lets say I have entered a load level of 65.2%. First via the FMC it actually loads a level higher then what I input, jumping to somewhere between 68-70%. Secondly, that load percentage then begins to climb slowly (while doing nothing else to the A/C). Every few seconds it adds an add…

Hello everyone, I always use pfpx to calculate the route and fuel for my flights. On my last few flights, I have gone through the same procedure I always do. I go into the fuel and payload page, enter my ZFW and amount of fuel. However, I always get insufficient fuel warning. It's never true though, and on the progress page it shows I'll land with remaining fuel. Why is this happening now? How do I fix it? Joe Maynard

Hi, since a flight into KDEN I have this 60 ft missmatch between the ALT bug and the indicated altitude. On the tarmac the aircraft was indicating 60 ft above the ground with baro set correctly. Is this a simulated baro sensor or indicator error?

I follow the instructions until I get to page 46 of the Tutorial which reads as follows: "Click LSK's 1R, 2R and 3R-this transfers the calculated takeoff V speeds from the FMC's integrated QRH table onto the Primary Flight display (PDF) speed tape" At that stage clicking on 1R, 2R and 3R nothing happens and I can't figure out where I might have gone wrong. Hi, regarding the newest update, should I uninstall the previous version or just run the installer & select the Repair option? I keep seeing answers in this forum that says either way Is fine, then some say you must uninstall the previous version. Is there a definite answer here? thanks!

(Context: I've been flying FSX for a year almost everyday. Used to direct IFR and VFR flights. Now I'm a newb to PMDG and using routes properly.) I really enjoyed the PMDG tutorial for flying to Dubai. The step by step instruction on how to program the route into the FMC went fine. What I'm having trouble with is practicing finding my own routes and then entering them properly into the FMC. When I use a tool like Simbrief to save/copy/paste the route file, when loading the route into FMC something goes wrong. "Do I have the SID selected properly?" I ask myself. Is the SID connecting properly with the route? So I'm not sure how I'm able to really know if the route …

Where can I find photos or illustrations of each of the switches (with their names/descriptions) referred to in the Manual? For example the Clickspots in the Introduction Manual are the type of helpful information I'm seeking for the switches in the various panels. Or are they already available and I've missed them? Cliff
