Hello. I don´t know if this is a bug or something. But everytime i´m looking on the brake temp´s immediately after take off, i see values of 2.0 - 2.3 etc. Is this normal or do i have some problems with my saitek pedals/ settings? When this is normal, why do we get warm brakes during the take off roll? I see this behavior with every bird of the PMDG T7 series (777-300ER, 777-200LR...). I hope you can give me an answer. Thanks!

I have installed OpusFSI for P3Dv3 today in order to avoid high blood pressure over EZCA usage. I have uninstalled EZCA from my system, but it still appears under Views on the main window instead of returning to the original VC view. What do I need to do to finish ridding my system of the last traces of EZCA? Any help is much appreciated.

Hey guys, here's the thing. I'm having a FSUIPC problem just when a fly with pmdg 777 on FSX. The problem starts after 2 hours of flight, then suddenly the screen keep frozzing for 8 seconds after 3 seconds working. The only way a found for this issue is to restart the simulator, but is temporary, 'cause after 1 hour starts again, and I have to do the same process over and over again. So, about the FSUIPC, I notice on 'Addons' that when I'm having this problem, FSUIPC it's not open. Sometimes when a I close another addon like 'OPUS' or 'VAFS' or 'APController', FSUIPC goes back to addons list, after this it's working again, but just for a 2 minutes top. And then a have t…

I have searched the forums using every keyword I can think of, yet I can't seem to find someone else who has had this problem. I cannot move the trim at all manually. I have a Logitech Attack 3 joystick. In FSX, I have set Elevator Trim Down using CTRL+7 or Button 3. Elevator Trim Up uses CTRL+1 or Button 2. (The keypresses used to be set at Num7 and Num1, but those change views). Now, the keypresses don't work on any airplane. The joystick buttons work fine on the default Cessna 172 and Beechcraft Baron, but they don't work with the 737NGX or the 777. It never bothered me in the NGX because I could move the trim wheel with the mouse, but that isn't available in t…

Hi folks, yesterday I flew CYVR--ANZ23--NZAA and got during my flight some status report: 0355z APU BATTERY 0414z BOTTLE APU 1047z BOTTLE 2C CARGO 1526z FIRE LOOP1 ENG L They are status messages -- I learnt -- because the crew cannot do anyway anything during flight. The APU battery failure should not hamper me, since I have another source of power to start it. The BOTTLE APU should not come into focus as long as the APU is not running, hopefully not before taxiing to the gate in NZAA. There are other squibs aside the one for BOTTLE 2C CARGO. Considering the fact that the 777 has been certified for ETOPS 330 (which PFPX gives a max range of 1652nm for) I am surprised that the ND's max range is 640nm in both MAP and PLN modes. On certain journeys there is simply no way to zoom out far enough to get a sense of perspective for the ETOPS range rings and the CRPs. It's also a bit frustrating to only have 4 fix pages available. If there are 3 ETOPS alternates with 2 CRPs you have to juggle which fixes get priority on what segment of the flight. Throw in your final destination alternate and possible approach fixes and that's even more juggling of fixes. It surprises me that an airplane specifically designed for long …

Well, I know that a comparison with the NGX should not be made, but when it comes to VNAV descent, the NGX acts perfectly, the 777 leaves me quite doubtful and it looks to me a bit strange that the real one behaves like that. Whenever I start the descent in VNAV, the thrust goes to HOLD and the system doesn't care about what vertical speed the airplane achieves. Only when it approaches a constraint altitude, it "remembers" of that constraint and both thrust and altitude become controlled again, thus going into level flight. You end up reaching that altitude miles before the waypoint with that constraint altitude. Instead of a continuous descent, it becomes a descent made …

Just did a night landing, The taxi, landing lites were on but there wasn't any illumination on the ground. I went to FSX settings to make sure that it was selected and it was. I tried going thru thru FMC to see if it was a selection in one of the options, but could not find any. Did I miss something? Anyone else having this issue? Gnacino

If this has been answered or asked I appologize in advance. I transfered my custom liveries for my VA into the 777 for P3D and there seems to be a drop in fps/slow down in the sim (liveries furnished with 777 45fps, custom liveries from FSX put into the 777 P3D 30fps). Are the custom liveries made for the 777 in FSX any different for the 777 in P3D? I did notice the paint kit hasn't changed so I don't know if there needs to be any changes to these liveries before they are moved into P3D. Hey Guys! So, the following happend: Started my P3D v3 (With Scenario Setup!) chose my T7 and airport, got in the cockpit and noticed 90% of the switches and buttons dont work anymore :/ Thrustlever, Flaps, Spoilers, Yoke, Gearlever and some other little switches work, but the entire FMC, Autopilotpanel, Overhead and much more doesnt work at all (Model itself doesnt make any problems) :( I read many topics here, but none helped me cause i already watched out for the following: -Start in Scenario Setup -Starting with no other aircraft before -3 Simconnect versions installed + the ESP one (Simconnect.xml is where it should be) -I dont have any Camera Addons whic…

Does the 777F appear this way at night? The plane on the left is a static MD-11. I checked the NGX, 744, and MD-11. They all appear this way. Is this normal or have I messed up something in FSX. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi all, Quick question on what I can best describe as early runway entry ops. I'm thinking of KJFK's 31L for example. Often times on VATSIM or while flying with the an airports' LiveATC on in the background for some kind of "atc feel," I hear instructions to taxi and hold short of a long runway at an early spot (for 31L it's often KD I believe). Thus, you wouldn't end up using the full runway length. For a heavy like the 77W, this can often be a big difference. Now, I don't use Topcat, just the FMC takeoff calculations w/some kind of derate. Either way, just assume that the V! VR V2 speeds are properly calculated for the full runway length. Anyone know how pilots …

OK. So the PMDG 777 does not have a standard 2-D panel. So. How do you move about the VC to switch and flip levers and press buttons..... Does it come with EZDOK or did PMDG create a mechanism to facilitate this. This has been a sticking point for me in making a decision as to shell out nearly $100. I just don't want to be disappointed or frustrated and 100 bucks poorer. Thanks Randy

Hi, I only use onboard motherboard/cpu video card with 8GB RAM, Win7-64bit, FSX steam and runs PMDG 737 NGX very well. Noticing that 777 has the description "Onboard motherboard or CPU video is not supported", just would like to know what will happen if I install the 777 with my current hardware? My system meets all the minimum requirements except the video card. Would like to fly it so much... Thanks. Frank Tien

I know it was an issue in FSX, but it's gone since some SP. But surprisingly I got it recently with 773 in P3D - a/c in unstable in pitch channel, rocking badly up and down up to the crash. CLB/DES mode are smooth, but on cruise I'm not able to get it keep the alt. All is up to date and patched. ASX on and off is the same, so it's not a WX issue. Any ideas? Rds, Andrey Osnovsky

From the Topic Title document "Leave the autopilot out of VNAV until crossing TUDEP, otherwise, as soon as VNAV is selected, the FMC will re-command the ECON speed. " I thought the idea on crossing the North Atlantic Tracks was to maintain a constant speed and altitude from entry to exit. Shouldn't the word track replace TUDEP. If I return to VNAV after crossing TUDEP, the speed changes from .83M to .833M. Is this possibly a misprint?

Problem- I am sure this is a problem with either the B77W or something route specific. But I haven't ever had any issues with the PMDG 772, mostly and only the B77W - I tried to fly the B77W from Heathrow to Tokyo a few months back, and 2 hours or so into the flight it crashes to desktop. I have completed many 772 flights and had zero issues, however with the 77W it's giving me a VAS leak. This isn't the first time, but no issues with the PMDG 772 since I've got it, so this must be something to do with the 77W? So can someone explain to me ACTUALLY what they are using as I last night I got an OOM flying from CYVR to EGLL. When I used FSX I would always get the OOM on approach into EGLL. New routes for Air India for the 77L to SFO and EWR. I am looking for an accurate Air India 77L or 77X panel config. Hard to find pictures online so I was only able to adjust the panel config that comes with the PMDG AI repaint, only change I found is there is no angle of attack dial. And at least for the 77W, only a seatbelts sign not a no smoking sign. Is anyone familiar with the AI airplanes and can post a realistic config? Thank you - David Lee

Dear All, Usually I just read as I generally have no problems at all. Yes my frame rates might not be the highest nor do I have the latest and greatest spec but I find the experience enjoyable: to me, thats all that matters. Having flown on the FSX format, I decided to jump ship onto P3D, having owned it for a couple of weeks I bought, yesterday the 777-P3D version. I expected my frame rates to be lower than FSX but suddenly I am in single figures!
