PMDG 777

    Hi Guysi have insttalled and downloaded he version for SE, The problem ii have is this one, in case i should change the star i do change it but there are many discntinuity and in DEP/ARR page the rwy is never changed. It s always the same.then in RTE2 I want to inset a second flight planfrom the destination of the RTE and the alternate. In my case destination in RTE 1 is RCTp so i click on RTE2 in ORIGIN Field i write RCTP and i receive invalid entry. Same if i wanna insert the route forst point from RCTP to Alternate is KUDOS I write it i click on TO and it doesnnt enter anything. How come the FMC Behave in this odd Way? Thanks

Two different questions, mainly addressed at those of you who have actual RL experience in the type :-) 1) I noticed from the first time I made my "flight tests" with the PMDG 777 that, even after disconnecting all of the "auto systems", including the thrust asymmetry compensation, that turning off one of the engines even during initial climb would have a practically unnoticeable effect in the roll and yaw. If cruising the effect was practically null. Is this the way it is in the real thing ?     Hello PMDG and FSX enthusiasts, ok I´m new to this stuff. But I like the challenge of the PMDG 777 simulated aircraft. I started with the aerosoft airbus x A318/19/20/21 airplanes. I love them, but the 777 is completely another thing. I have read the introduction (how to set up FSX Steam Edition a.s.o.) and the tutorial 1. I love this airplane, although it is complicated to learn how to fly it. I`ve seen the hint with tutorial 2. Is PMDG still working on the second tutorial ? I made the stupid move of buying p3dv2.5 just before v3 was released ( I wasn't aware of the imminent release, and it was already too late for a refund... ), and also bought the 777 base package for it. I have the full 777 package in FSX:SE. Can I have the 777 also installed in P3Dv2.5 ( actually together with my RealAirs, those will be the only P3D add-ons installed .... ). José Monteiro

I get a lot of information from YouTube, Angle of Attack, and other educational venues, but nothing ties all this knowledge together better than a well written tutorial. Step by step with information and options on a written page ... yeah, that's the ticket. Ryan has written some wonderful tutorials for PMDG, especially on the 737 NGX and the 777. His tutorial #2 on the NGX is a masterpiece. I have worked these tutorials so often, I can almost do them without reference, ALMOST.   6. The altimeter is correctly set and the wind is loaded, the aircraft is at 660.3 GW (LBS) and there's 64.6% of fuel left. I'm trying to climb to the cruise altitude of 38,000ft but it's stuck at 36,760ft. I rolled down the altitude to 36,000ft and changed the cruise altitude on the VNAV page, but it stayed at that altitude, even if I select the ALT hold button, I took off autopilot and flew manually to 38,000ft and then engaged autopilot again, but it descends back down to the 36,760ft altitude. I tried switching between the VNAV and the ALT hold buttons, but they both keep the aircraft at 36,760ft. There are no warnings or cautions being shown, both engines were at cl…

  7. Good Day, I don't know if this has been asked before and answered, but i was hoping someone can shed some light into this. I have noticed over several occasions that in cruise for both variants 200LR and 300ER the landing gear drops automatically in cruise mode. I am clueless as to why this happens.     Hi everyone, I have just started reading through the training tutorial for the PMDG 777-200 base pack plane and have a question about the ILS landing configurations. Am I right in thinking that in order to configure the correct ILS frequency and course for my destination runway, I have to set this in the NAV RAD page of the FMC, or is this automatically done once the flight planning is complete and I've selected the arrival runway etc...? I've read about it in the documentation but just wanted to confirm I'm right in assuming that you can't use the NAV radios like in the 737NGX... I did try but the NAV radios on the 777 don't accept the digits of my runway…

    Hello, I am using for a long time PMDG 777 and CH flight rudders. Today, out of the blue i have problems with the brakes. As soon i take off i get the brake signs. Its says press . - i do that but nothing is happening. I unplug the rudder and it still doesn't work. Same is true when i load the flight again after exiting the FS - as soon as i touch down - brakes are again on and they cant be removed. please advise tks Marek LOWW

  10. hi. definitely my mistake. waht im doing is PFPX flight planning and exporting route only to 777. this time no exporting wind data to 777 datalink works until des forecast wind data and when i load this it says invalid forcast uplink. Im sitting with last portion of manual provided by pmdg 777. note: I have set the optio for autoload flight plan in ASN as well. somewhere I am doing the mistake skipping any step. yes there are two posts about this but i havenot found any answer sir waiting for responses.

    Hello Everyone, I have been flying the T7 since its debut and have not had any serious problems with it until a little more than a week ago, during which time I have added nothing new, or done anything differently. During pre flight procedures I set the stabilizer trim at 6.00 as called for by the FMS. I taxi to the runway and on takeoff I get the "stabilizer config" warning. The trim setting has gone to 0.0 I reset the trim to 6.00 and takeoff. However, the trim gradually decreases to 0.0 as soon as I advance the throttles.     Hi all, Brand new user of the T7. Just installed, activated, and began to take a look before reading all the manual info. Right away I notice that using the mouse cursor to click on anything does not work for setting up autopilot settings. I do see what looks like a hand when I mouse over the throttles. Do I just need to reinstall or is this an issue peculiar to me? Thanks for any help. I did try a search of this forum first.

  14. Hi! I have som problems with the 777-300 after my installation. I own the -200 and it works without any problems, but when i installed the -300 this is not working. When i open the aircraft i am far away from the cockpit, and the airplane has sinked in to the ground... The -200 stil works fine. I hope you can help me?

    Hey all, I'm getting a "STANDBY INVERTER" message on the Lower EICAS screen. I've looked up the FCOMv1 & v2, FCTM and QRH but all I could find is a section about backup electric system, nothing on the message. There are no failures active and the ELECTRICAL part of the overhead panel is configured as per the standard. The aircraft is powered on APU, GPU not connected. So I'm not sure what's going on, everything is functioning as expected, only this message is persistent. Any ideas? Nice in-depth detail, by the way.. Cheers,

  20. Hello.. Has anyone else had these problems. I have just installed the p3dv3 version of the PMDG 777 200. It has caused me three problems so far. 1. The worse and most annoying problem, is that it causes my brakes to stick on which I cannot release in the normal sense. In fact I can only release them if I keep the brakes applied during taxiing.I use all Saitek Cessna pro equipment, (rudder pedals, trim wheels etc etc ) and am aware of the fix for sticking brakes by removing any null zones in the calibration and ticking the reverse boxes. This does not work and I have tried to use the aircraft with and without FSUIPC but its still doesn't make any difference to the bra…

    Got the 300 a few weeks ago and can't find a reliable fuel planner. I always used fuelplanner.com for the 200 and it was great. Last week I used the numbers for the 200 on a 300 for a EGLL-KJFK and nearly went dry. Any suggestions? John Bradley

    Sim is executing OK but my mouse is not working consistently. I have ensured that my eyepoint is not within the headrest. I have only the PMDG777 installed apart from the P3Dv3 default aircraft. When I click the mouse on some instruments (e.g. standby AI, landing lights) the actions work correctly. But for most of the clickable points, the mouse remains as an arrow. If I press the space bar, the + sign remains active for view panning until I press it again, rather than disappearing on release.     I am probably going to get flame roasted, abused and moderated for saying what everyone is thinking but is there any way to run my 'extremely expensive only flown a few times because it was so poorly VAS optimised in FSX' PMDG 777 in P3Dv3? The idea of forking a wapping 135 bucks for the exact same product that I could barely even use because it didn't work properly, just to move the same product to a different sim that is better on VAS seems absolutely bonkers and unfair? If there isn't a way, why in the world would there not be at the very least a fairer upgrade price/path for existing FSX customers if not free?
