PMDG 777

  1. I bought FEELTHERE - MAP! NETWORK EDITION on simmarket website and I installed in my FSX and chosse PMDG 777-300 to fly but it does not show on my screen there is no show map bottom please help me, thank you

    I wonder if there is a way to trim the pitch by using the manual lever by the throttle control using button commands? I find that the lever trimming is smoother but I cannot find a way to link this to the joystick buttons.

  3. Hi, I have a problem regarding TOPCAT calculations for take-off in PMDG 777F. The PFPX gives me the figures about ZFW , LW , ... which all are within limits and much lower than the related maximum ones. But when I export the flight plan to TOPCAT to compute the take-off performance it warns me " Perf.Limit Weight 248785 kg -Take-off weight ( 326099 kg) exceeds perf. limit weight ." I fill all boxes in TOPCAT such as cargo , fuel ,wind , temperature , flap , ... . Regards

    I have the 777 and I have issues while landing at any airport, what the problem is that I can press LOC but the plane doesnt capture it. I mean I can press the but the plane doesn't follow it. I have everything setup, the ils is set to data and all of the ils freq and course is right. However, it doesnt capture it even though I can press it. For example, today I was landing at LTBJ 16L and it would show the diamonds on my display and I could press the LOC button but it wont just capture it. This happened at EGLL, CYYZ and all other airports i've been to. I normally vector myself so I go to the beginning of the lines and I am usually at the correct altitude. Bulen…

    Hi everyone, I am very keen on creating my own set of 2-D panels for the PMDG B777 for use on my 14-monitor touchscreen setup (6-monitor cockpit + 8-monitor visuals). It can be done using the FSUIPC offsets that Pete (Dowson) has just released for this aircraft. However, before I can proceed, I would need to find a good high resolution 2-D panel bitmap of the cockpit.     Don't know if it's better to post here or on the Active Sky forum, but I think that the radar returns, both on the 777 and 737, are exaggerated, very often red areas when in fact there is only a light rain. Is the radar capable of distinguishing between light and heavy rain, based on the data received from ASN? It's not a matter of gain, this happens also with the gain at minimum. Thanks.

    Hello folks, i have a prob with the landing speed @ MLAW or lower. The i should have around 137-140 KIAS but if i slow down the bird i will get a stick shacker. Gross weoght is 200t remaining fuel is 18t. If i reduce the weight further the there is no change in low speed band. As im familiar with real world jets normally the Vstall changes with config and weight (of course attitude as well) Any ideas welcome. Thank you very much. Michael Jahn

    Hey T7 pilots, now that I am also an proud owner I have a question about the top of descent. It was calculated way too early. I made a flight from KJFK to EHAM. I trie to explain the waypoint sequence with altitudes calculated by the T7: On my cruise I had two stepclimbs from FL370 to FL 380 and than to FL390. After the T/D symbol on the ND there where 4 waypoints I think before the STAR: T/D WPT 1 - FL390 WPT 2 - FL390 WPT 3 - FL390 and the next wpt had the first lower alt WPT 4 - FL380 ...all other wpt had normal descent altitudes. I ignored the calculated T/D and started my own descent with FLCH before WPT4. The VNAV deviation at the end where…

    I know this is probably post number 6590443 on VAS issues but no matter what I do with my Sim or the 777 I can't get to the state of being able to fly the plane from one payware airport to another in longer haul flights. I have tried everything, lowered settings etc but always have to either reload the flight two or three times or get an OOM. My Autogen settings are all sparse and detail is on normal. I have 1024 textures and compressed all of my payware scenery. I can fly the PMDG 737 over reasonable distances without the same issues, it seems that the 777 constantly uses more VAS as the flight goes on.     Hello Guys! I recently wiped out my PC and did a fresh Windows 10 install. So far it has been great with FSX and all add ons I use BUT: It is now when I actually fly my 777 for more than 15 minutes for testing, so about 4 hours in to my first flight, while on cruse I noticed that the textures for the engine when I went in to the wing view were just not there, the engine was but the paint was not I was only able to see the pylon not painted, then it turned black, then my FPS went really low (2-3 FPS average) then on the cockpit all my knobs dissapeared and parts of the panel went black.   17. Hi, I need to stress a behaviour that I have by now extensively experienced and that needs to be fine tuned. After applying TOGA for takeoff or go around, if you want the airplane to level off say at 3000 or 4000 ft and use V/S (with A/P on) and SPEED on A/T, the airplane overshoots that altitude even by 1000 ft (with consequent ALTITUDE ALERT), even if I select a low vertical speed and the speed remains low. Then, several seconds after overshooting, he starts descending to the selected altitude. It's like the airplane realizes too late about the commanded level off altitude. I hope this can get fixed in a next update. Thank you.

    Every time I land on the runway of KJFK, the Boeing 777-300 touch the runway and only the front wheels sink into the runway, I have never had this problem before, while the whole flight was flawless only the touch down on the runway is a mystery to me.     Hey Guys, I finally finished my 14 ATPL Exams today and passed them all so I want to start getting back into the T7 after quite a while away from it due to studying. So I did some normal SID Departures today out of LGW and I couldn't help but notice that once the aircraft rotates, it will keep it's pitch for a while and then the aircraft seems to automatically pitch up slightly more say at 100-200 feet? My question is, why does this do that? I then struggled to hold a speed as in V2+15 > V2+25 it was more like V2+35, I was using a normal load with a ZFW of 177,600kgs and 71,900kgs of fuel giving a TOW of 249.5kgs.     Hello, I have been running FSX boxed version and Prepar3d on a single computer. Installed FSX:SE recently and now I am trying to install PMDG 777 which are already installed and running on the mentioned programs. Downloaded aircraft file FSX version to intall on FSX:SE but when I tried to install PMDG 777 for FSX:SE I get just repair, modify or removed installation window. What should I do to be able to install on FSXSE version as well? Luis Disregard, after much diggin' around I found the info needed. Un-installed FSX version, do a good clean up, then opt to install PMDG 777 in both FSX, FSXSE. Just had a PSS flashback!

    Gentlemen, I have a question because it might takes to Long until V1 is reached during take-off run. Sometimes I consume nearly the hole runway lenght before reaching V1 (e.g. 77W at Dubai 80% load). How Long do you think or know a take-off run should due with following Parameters? PMDG 777F TOW 313.000 KGS ZFW 236.000 KGS FUEL 77.000 KGS Runway ELV 12' Altimeter 30.23 Derated Thrust 38° C; 98.6% Thrust Procedure Full breaks, increase thrust to 50%; push TOGA wait until 98.6% thrust is reached; breaks off.
