PMDG 777

Which BA liveries will be included in the 777 release? I wasn't too keen on the cultural artworks on the fins.

I've been flkying the PMDG 777 300 for a while now...suddenly its not asking me to activiate te PMDG 777-200 R/F Base package is not activated yet. Please select and activate.... IS there some service that needs to be running? To improve my performance I used the System configuration option to shut down all non Windows services... thats the only change I made. Any ideas? In any case how do I simply reactivate my 777f?

Hello. When I fly the 777, I am having an issue. I have a flight with no step climbs, but a S/C climb appears on my map. I am to fly at FL360 until TOD, but after saving, all of a sudden the LEGS page shows readings that I should be at FL400. Any reason why that is, and is there any solution to this? I am running the latest version of my PMDG 777 for p3d v3, only with orbx ftx global base package. Even though there are no step climbs, i DID set my RSVM to 0 (zero) before takeoff. In line with P3D's new install structure I would like to keep all addons (aircraft, scenery, etc) outside the root folder. Is it possible to move 777 and everything it installs without breaking it?

Dear Community, Almost 6 months of not flying, I had the time to do a flight with the mighty T7 freighter from PANC-EFHK (addon airports). I was wise enough to update all the bells and whistles the day before, so it would not take the time from the flying. Anyway, fired up the sim, used real time weather and planned the route using PFPX... Entered the cockpit and I was amazed that even though I had a 6 months break, my memory was not totally formatted itself .... The plane was ready to takeoff after a rough 30mins... Prepar3D v3 with latest installation executable. Starting the plane cold and dark at KDEN. I go through the entire setup getting the plane ready for departure. After take-off I select VNAV and LNAV and the plane refuses to climb. AT is set and AP is on. I even tried to to turn off AT and climb with manual thrust. Plane is loaded with 60,500lb of fuel and takeoff weight I believe was 480,000lbs. I didn't have any trouble in Prepar3D v2.5. Any ideas? Thanks, John

When I load a T7 ac, I get a message, "Prepar3D registry AppPath entry not found, PMDG options file cannot be checked/updated". What does this mean? I only have FSX, I click ok, and the ac seems to be ok. George Nacino

I'm having the problem of certain specific clickspots not functional in Prepar3d V3 with the new version. I'm familiar with the problem of the eyepoint position- where you're not close enough to a switch for the cursor to turn into a "hand." This is not that problem. For example, the seatbelt switch won't work, but the fuel switches will. Landing lights won't switch, but the turnoff lights will. No autopilot functionality, but FMS works. I did suffer a crash where the NVIDIA kernel driver "stopped responding and recovered" causing Prepar3d to crash, and it may or may not be related, while loading the 777. The PMDG 777 is well known for its VAS-usage and I won't be the only one that sometime is confronted by "the ringing of the bell" to warn for a coming OOM. When flying this morning from EHAM to EGBB I noticed of course a continuous shrinking of the available VAS using FSUIPC to monitor it. I changed from windowed mode to full screen mode and when turning back to windowed mode I found that the available VAS was several hundreds of Mb higher than before I changed from windowd mode to full screen mode. When completing the flight I repeated this several times and every time the available VAS had grown. Maybe this is a known effect, but unknown to me. Any comments? Do…

Hello, I use "EZDOK Camera" and to have a realistic view must have a zoom between 0.8 and 1.0. Unfortunately the captain's seat (armchair) obstructs the view of the panel. Is there a way to delete or move the seat (armchair) of the captain in the cocpit of the 777 (panel 3D). Regards.

Hi everyone, There is something I can't figure out regarding this failure. When I trigger it, here is what happens: AP and AT disconnect. That part seems logic of course. But I loose Air data on both PFD (Capt and FO),while ISFD is still displaying Air Data. The way I understood the FCOM, both PFD should display some data, although they should disagree. I have the NAV AIR DATA SYS EICAS message, and the associated checklist says (First page, second item): "Crosscheck airspeed and altitude on the PFDs and standby flight instruments for accuracy. Hi all, Long time, no see. I'm currently having a major issue with my T7 (both base and expansion). I've just got a new desktop so have been going through the process of completely reinstalling FSX (FSX + Acceleration boxed edition. NOT Steam edition). I followed NickN's FSX Bible install guide to the letter, specifically install an addon, run FSX and run load a flight with that addon, close FSX, next addon etc. During the install process both the LR/F and ER worked perfectly, but now whenever I load a flight in any 777, it crashes immediately. If i let the 777 autoland in V3 i end up with no thrust control and end up slowing to a permanent halt on a taxiway. I can see on the thrust gauge that the throttle position indicator is moving as i move the throttle but no increase in thrust % ever comes. I am not having this problem in the NGX. I have not seen this problem in V2.5 Anyone else having this problem? Jeff Rowland

Dont know if anyone has the same issue and if anyone can help. all buttons are unclickable approx 15 mins after getting into the cockpit, fine during taxi and take off, then stop again approx 30 mins into flight. i have discovered, as im an EZDOK user, for example, when in PIC view, and the buttons stop working, they do work if i shift my view over towards the centre a bit or switch to a view to the specific are of cockpit to which i need to operate. Any ideas appreciated, i did check to see if this issue had already been raised on here but could not see anything, apologies if i have missed any such discussion.

Hello everybody, I use Win10 64bit with all latest updates . The nVidia driver is also currently . P3D V3 is only installed with SimConnect - all three Installer! P3D can be started and functioning without error . Next, I installed the 777 in the current version of P3D . Then P3D no longer works - > CTD . Where is my mistake? What should I do? The virus scanner is switched off ! After restore of windows using Acronis, I installed the 737 - everything works fine. No matter what order do I choose - with or without add ons - after installing the 777 - P3D is no longer working. Even after uninstalling the 777, P3D is not running. Regards Peter

Hi All, I currently use fsrealwx lite on a laptop, that has widefs running to inject weather into my fsx PC. I hear there are better weather addons out there. Could you please advise which would be the best addon ?. Requirement is that it should be able to work over widefs, I don't want to install on my fsx PC as you can see mine is stretched now and currently get a decent 20fps. Thanks

Maybe someone has encountered the same issue: I currently start using the latest version of the T7 together FSX-SE (and the ASN beta). Therefore, I started cold&dark in EDDM and did all the preparations for a flight to LEPA. Shortly before lining up on runway 08L, I saved the flight just to be able to start over again practicing my departure skills ;-). If I try to load the saved flight later again, the T7 comes up with my default panel state (cold & dark) instead the saved one. This also happens with a just started FSX-SE session. Hello, I am having an issue while I am creating a Livery for an aircraft. While I follow the instructions on how to create the Livery, when I get into FSX, anything that was a shade of Gray is now transparent. This is present with the included files in the Livery Paint kit. I am able to see the interrior of the aircraft through the Door plates, as well as some of the ports on the bottom of the aircraft. http://prnt.sc/8rgjn1 Attached is an image that I took when I attempted to make the botom portion of the aircraft gray.
