PMDG 777

Hi All, Today i was flying a long haul with B777-F from PANC to TNCM with the fedex livery,at top of descent i crashed because of api.dll. i wanted to know what should have probably caused it and how can i prevent it on the triple seven. i have win7 x64,fsx +acceleration,PMDG T7 + SP1B,FSGRW 1.7 #24,enabled pause at top of descent,flying on ivao;and for info,i have never had a crash like this on before.

Hi all, I have opened a ticket but in the mean time does anyone know what's up here? Initialization of license library failed when trying to load the plane. If I continue all the gauges, fmc etc are black. Cheers

Hi, Funny, or maybe known problem but since Iinstalled the T7 the traffic exanche box does not show, any longer the text of the my question or of the answer answer. It should not be annoying, but as you may see, I'm not an English speaking person. Some times, especialy on approach and landing instructions are given Idon't always register the information but I could always read them. This problem occured right after the T7 installation and involves all exanches with traffic control and with any planes. Thks for you're help Paddy92

Hello everyone , so recently i found someone painting the 777 and posting the photos from PS on their pages , i've seen some wireframe on the aircraft for the aligning !! while on my paintkit it doesn't show anything when selecting the Fuselage outline , so is there any trick to show the wireframe ? thanks in advance

Why can't the 777 have a similar autotrim behavior to the MD11? In the MD11 handflying interaction is so much better, I get smooth transitions from climb to cruise, smoother turns, smoother descends, the autotrim is smooth, steady, and stable in the MD11, and the odd thing is that its a much older aircraft. I know, the flight characteristics are not the same, but still I think the 777 should have a smoother autotrim so that handflying would be better. If it was done with the MD11 then it can be achieved with the 777.

Ok was looking for some possible help. After being visited by our unwanted friend, I wanted to see if I am doing something wrong. I have ensured that I have all of the latest updates and that I am running the latest software. Ok we go I continue to get plagues on the following flight. YSSY (Fly Tampa settings to minimal) to KSFO (Flighthbeam). I am using ASNext with Textures from REX. Only have California Central and Northern Photo scenery activated. All other Airports and Photo scenery are inactivated. I have the FO screens shut off. Hi, Do the PMDG 777 repaint work with the Captain Sim 777?

I am the proud owner of the PMDG NGX package as well, which I recall had asked me to enter my purchase code after an internet download. However after running the installer for the PMDG 777, it did not ask me for an activation. Hi everyone, Having a bit of an issue with both my PMDG 777-200 and 300. I was recently bought the PMDG 777-300 by my VAs CEO as a gift and I was unable to get the plane working in anything other than single player. Once I had uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times I tried doing a flight with my 777-200, which now had the same problem. After submitting a ticket and not really having any help due to the fact it is a multiplayer issue I have tried uninstalling windows and reinstalling with flight sim and the PMDG 777-200 as the only things on the computer. Is there anyway to adjust camera pan rate in F/O seat view? it's too quickly for me, especially during Touch down & rollout to keep runway centerline. I try to adjust FSX camera.cfg. but there is only option for virtual cockpit. Thks for help!!!

Hi, I'm installing PMDG onto my new PC after deciding that my iMac with Bootcamp wasn't what I wanted. I had reasonable success running PMDG, initially with FSX and then adding FSX/SE. I never really understood if I'd improved things or not. So I'm wondering if I should install either of the programs or both? Both iMac and PC are running Win 8.1. Any Advice gratefully received. Hey guys! I think about getting this awesome bird, but now I read a lot about the oom's. Also I read a lot about avoiding it. But it seems that "switching off scenerys not needed" and "save flight before descent" (which is unuseable for me because of the acars from my virtual airline) are the only solutions. I dont use that much payware airports (LOWW flytampa and EHAM, EDDH aerosoft) Is there a way to guess if I will run into oom's or a proofed solution for avoiding it? Thank you very much!

Hello, I had been trying two approaches recently on 77L and 77W during my recent flights, KIAH-KLAX and LTBA-OMDB. Both scenarios were absolutely identical - once I descended to FL140-160 the throttles rapidly accelerated with N1 ~ 1,000 and all other gauges at max, BLEED AIR were automatically disconnected and the plane accelerated up to 580kts. When I disconnected A/T, A/P and directors and tried to move throttles back to idle state with both MS joystick and F1 keyboard, it did not help and throttles were automatically dragged to MAX position regardless of my actions. Hello all, this is basically a copy and paste from a topic i made at the PFPX forum which nobody seems to have an answer for, so i figure why not give it a shot here. There is an issue which has plagued me for some months now. Something seems to be up with PMDG 777-300ER and the same performance data in PFPX. When i use the bias tool and I enter the values i see real time in the sim, the calculated TAS value is off. For example, when i enter these conditions GW - 635,000 (lbs) Alt = FL340 Cruise/Cost Index = 200 SAT = -49 Act Fuel Flow = 18000 Act TAS 487 And leave the Ground speed blank, the TAS calculated is 496kts which is almost 10 knots higher than i …

Hey, you know, I'm just daydreaming and wondering if anyone is using the Flightdeck Solutions FMC with the PMDG 777 in P3D? I'm curious on some opinions of operations!

Just yesterday, I noticed that while on flying on a long haul, I had the plane on Lnav and Vnav and it was flying level. All of a sudden, the autopilot disconnects and the plane starts rolling to the right, as if i was trying to invert it. I tried re calibrating my yoke and reinstalling the drivers for it with no luck. I also tried doing a clean re install of the 777-200lr with no luck either. This has never happened before, and I have had it for about a year now. If it helps, i am using windows 10 and FSX steam.

I haven't flown the PMDG 777 for a while since I updated Active Sky Next to the latest update, Now I am in a middle of a flight and turn on the weather radar like usual, and I get an x on the MFD.

Need something to take my mind off the 737 for a bit. I am willing to take 1 777 request first come first serve. Nothing too crazy please . I will not paint something thats crazy.

I installed the PMDG 777 From the DISC I bought and this is how it looks. I re installed and re started MANY MANY Times. I was told that i need to Install the Service Packs from the website. I tried to download it but i wont let me. it kept on telling me to log in again and again and again. I Dont know what to do. I payed so much money, Is there a way to fix this?
