PMDG 777

All white untitled livery for the B777F.

I just completed uninstalling all traces of the 777 and NGX per the sticky and I reinstalled to both Steam and FSX. The aircraft work perfectly in both sims. I have also download and installed some liveries using the Operations Center and they show as installed. When I go to FSX-SE, I only see PMDG liveries (note that I have check the box that says show all variations). The liveries are in the Aircraft folder and they are in the aircraft.cfg file. Any ideas as to why they do not show up in the menu ?

Hi guys, I have an issue concerning the brightness knob of the navigational display on the 777. As I'm sure you know, the navigational display has 2 independent brightness control knobs (in the same position, one is on top of the other); one controls the overall brightness of the screen while the other controls the brightness of the wxr or terr depictions. In other words, you can have a bright ND whilst having a dark depiction of the WXR. On the NGX, this works perfectly. Turning down the knob that controls the brightness of the wxr and terr has a noticeable effect, and you can actually turn it down to the point where wxr and terr depictions are barely visible. Hello all! I experience an issue which can be seen on the screenshot. I get a square pattern texture glitch on all the screens, no matter what time and when the cockpit lighting is illuminated (it is on the picture) I get the same issue. I installed my pmdg 777-200lr/f, and when it says put activation key I copy and paste it from my pmdg account and when I enter the activation key, the computer tells me it's invalid. Is this happening because I don't have live internet connection or is it the activation key that doesn't work? Please, I need help

Hi all! After reinstalling the OS and FSX and PMDG B777 I have following problems: 1. I can hear all the time a pack sound (AIR Conditioning sound) even when the packs off, apu off AND Air Condition Unit disconnected. I found out that if I turn the EQUIP Cooling OFF then the sound disappears... When I connect/or disconnect the ground air condition unit there is no sound change at all. 2. I set the fms settings to create an fsx flight plan but the aircraft not creating it. Reinstall does not help. Please help me.

Hi, I’ve installed the latest Operations Center update in the hopes that it would enable me to download and install liveries for the FSXSE 777. I have a boxed version of FSX install and concurrently the FSXSE version, on a different drive. Everything works fine in the FSX version. The FSXSE and the FSX version both fly great with no issues other than I can only fly the house version of the FSXSE 777, and I can’t seem to add any liveries to the FSXSE version, and all of the text is red. The light works fine when the analogue clock is installed but when it's removed and replaced with a digital one, the place were the clock used to be turns darker than the surrounding parts of the cockpit. Can this be fixed?

Do aircraft displays get burn in? (Or more accurately for LCDs, do they get image persistence?) I've never seen one. Are they designed to withstand the effect or they just get replaced very often? But replacing them is very expensive...

I need a heads up what might lead to "Invalid entry" when trying to enter V-Speeds (also not getting any automatic V-Speeds). I try to enter a flight from LFPO (Paris Orly) to TFFR (Guadeloupe), flight planning made with PFPX. Not matter which weight I use (close to MTW or 30t underload), the above mentioned V-Speed problem happens. I assume something must be out of range, but what ? Mike

Tried my hand at painting the 77L in the livery of Altair, the VA I fly with, www.altairva.com It's my first go at painting planes. I'm having trouble with the underbelly colour, at the front and rear of the fuselage. Here's a screenshot of my paint job: What I want to do is extend the blue area and yellow border at the front and rear, so it looks more like this paint job my friend did on the NGX: I can't work out where to put the coloured areas on the main fuselage map to make them look right on the finished product. Hey Guys, I have a very small problem with the pnf callouts. I'm using Fs2Crew so I disabled the default PNF callouts but I still get the "Rotate" call at takeoff. I have this problem since I own the 777 (over a year) - and I installed all updates, also reinstalled it a few times since I have it. It doesn't bother me but I'm still curious what the reason could be. Thank you! Ben

Hello, I am just wondering, has PMDG fixed B777's LNAV's overshooting issues yet? I've been observing many overshooting instances but today, I was on 'TRK SEL' 20 degress angle to intercept a Magenta CRS. I was waiting from 1.0L, 0.9L, 0.5L, 0.3L until..... Guess what, It reaches 0.0 then It begins turns to intercept. Does anyone have suggestions to fix this?

Hello. When I access PMDG Op Cent. and click on livery downloader I get this message: "THERE WAS AN ERROR DOWNLOADING THE LIST OF LIVERIES Error-Code: 800c0008" I've reinstalled 777 but the error message still appears and I can not install liveries.

Hi everyone, i just tried to change FL and suddenly everything freezes, becomes inoperative, everything in cockpit is clickable but inoperative, happened few times in a row already. note: i recently disabled RAAS in dll.xml because it helps me free some ram.

As an owner of the 777 for both FSX and P3D, I have an interesting opinion of its performance in FSX/FSX:SE when compared against the P3D version. I'm interested to hear if others have noticed (or not noticed!) any differences in the overall performance/capability of their sims when using the 777 across the different platforms. There are of course no "correct" answers here, only your observations. I'd politely ask that only those who have actually used the 777 on both platforms weigh in, as I'm interested in seeing if my observations are shared by others. Do you have any thoughts to share? -Greg

twice now in the same hour I've had 2 freezes and have had to end FSX. I've probably flown 4 transatlantics and a few mess around flights with no problems. What might be the problem? Everything seems to be up to date. Just a note: I updated the PMDG Continental Livery and both of these flights were in Continental when the freezes happened.

Hi All, During my last flight from EHAM to VTBS with T7-300ER i got a crash while i started my descent towards the destination. The crash happened when i switched my view from 2D to VC , then i clicked on the mouse wheel to move view , then BOOM : Crash after a 11 hours flight

Hi all, every single time I fly the 777, at a certain point of the flight (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours), the computer freezes and sound in the background loops. Only way to recover is resetting the computer via reset button. This problem happens only when flying the PMDG 777, and got worse after the last update. Previosly it was happening less frequently. As of now, I cannot complete a flight. Video and audio driver are updated, and I already tried using the 22k soundset. Any suggestions? Regards Stefano Rossi

I found out recently there was an sp1c update for the 777, and also an sp1d update, but I didn't find the file for the sp1c. The operations center said I should re-download the aircraft because it had the sp1d update included. My question is, do these files already have all the previous updates included in them? Should I simply uninstall both the LR and ER and the previous updates and then re-install with the current files and forget about the previous update files?

Hello, I would like to know why I keep getting messages FSX because of the HPA settings, for example the setting VTBU (Thapao Thailand) I read in PFPX the QNH is 1006 when I set in FSX I always get the message: Your altimeter is set Incorrectly? Hi, I have hundreds of hours of flights with the T7 in FSX (all three -200LR, -200F, -300ER) and I keep being impressed and enjoying the flights with these birds. Last flight: Leaving the bird (B77L) after a 20h flight from Sydney (YSSY) to Paris (LFPG), in real time and conditions with CFMU validated flight plan and ASN weather. Left Sydney with 203 pax and 162200kg of fuel, still 12900kg remaining at arrival. Definitely a great experience!
