First i must admit i am a simmer and not a pilot but i can sense the time and programming PMDG has put into this bird with latest updates on the FBW systems. As i say i am mostly off scale here and trying to learn a little of the systems that it truly provides as a simmer and reflecting real world pilots. So where can i start my questions - please ignore my lack of experience here :-) i am what i am. This is mostly pitchmode Questions i guess I have a Saitek Yoke and have tried all sorts of combinations with the null zones and resetting both FD´s afterwards and for now i have left them at 5% since i dont even know what the deadzones should be in the calibrati…

This may be a dumb question, but I have the opportunity to buy a boxed version of the PMDG 777 which, as I understand it, only includes the -200. If I buy it, can I then download the -300 extension and add it on, or will that only work with the download version of the base -200 package?

Dear Pilots, I just wanted to donwload the new update for the PMDG 777, so I went to the homepage, logged into my account, but when I viewed previous orders, there was only the 777.300 expansion listed, which I downloaded, but not the Base Package, which I also bought of course. Seems like The Base Package is just not listed there in previous orders. Now i cant download the new Installer which includes the new update. I also couldn´t find out, where to submit a Ticket. Im very thankful four your advices, what to do, or how to submit a Support Ticket best regards

Hello everyone, my PMDG Operations Center just advised me there is a new update for the 777, under the ECommerce account, with the following message: "PMDG ECOMMERCE CUSTOMERS To update to this version, you must download the full installer from your account at PMDG's eCommerce website". I do not see the full installer, just a link at the bottom of the page for the 777-300 ER, and I do not understand whether that is the full installer the Operations Center is talking about, or maybe I am just dumb and I am looking at the wrong page....thanks for your support, Enrico

Hi all i have plan to purchase PMDG 777 and would like to give it to a friend as present. Could I download then copy the installer file to DVD ? Does PMDG would give adctivate serial to activated PMDG 777 on internet ? Thank

Is it possible to turn the autotrim off so its more like an ngx? I find its behavior annoying when manually making turns. I don't like how it interacts with my own pitch and trim inputs, it makes the aircraft a bit unstable and not very fun. My opinion is that it should either behave like an airbus or like a boeing, and not something in between in this regard.

Hello, I'm in FSX-SE ATC and I come to the runway press CTRL-DOT to turn Parking Breakes. If I had ATC permission to leave I press DOT and P.Breakes goes OFF But Parking Breakes bottom of the screen remains on, and I can not move? Also after repeating pushing on DOT Parking Breakes will not go out... Can i do something in FSUIPC with this case? Can anyone help me please? Regards, Jaap Mooijer

Hi! I just love the PMDG T7 and i really like the VC textures. The VC itself looks "used". Is it possible to edit the VC textures, so i can remove the dirt etc? I just want to get a "brandnew" cockpit because dit a repaint of a brandnew 777-300ER. It would be nice if you´ve got an idea.

Hello All, I am about to wipe my PC and start again from fresh, spring cleaning if you like (just a little late). I have backed everything up but I wanted to double check, which PMDG file holds the key assingments and short cuts? and where can I find this file/s? I hope that by backing up this file (that stores the key assignments and short cuts) I won't have to spend hours re assigning everything once I have reinstalled both FSX and PMDG's B777. I downloaded the 777 -300 ER emirates livery. Find at night the logo lights are not lighting up. Has anyone else noticed it ? I have Steve's dx10 fixer plus sweetfx. Is it due to any of the above ? Thanks Hari

Hi, just wondering if there will be a sale for the pmdg 777 in the near future as the aussie dollar is very weak meaning it costs a lot more to purchase the 777, obviously its a great aircraft and i cant wait to fly it although the price is preventing me from doing it, thanks.

I installed the optional 22 KHz sounds and I didn't like them, some effects and sounds stopped working. How do I revert to the previous sounds?

I would like to know if there is a way I could increase the level of autotrim activity in both 777 versions. I am not very good at manually adjusting and maintaining the elevator levels during turns so I would like more of an airbus feeling to the pitch adjustment. I know it has some pitch autotrim thou.

Morn, Happy to report, I upgraded to Windows 10 last night & had no issues at all with FSX or PMDG aircraft or any of my Go-Flight modules. Performance seems to be a little better as well!

I am using FSrecorder but in the replay the aileron movement is not showing. Is there something I can do to get those movements recorded or do I need another program for this?

Hello, I have been experiencing this from time to time. I push my throtles forward, but only 1 engine spools up. I can see the throtle level in the EICAS screen but the engine is stuck - iddle. I noticed that everytime i get this problem, i have the indication of Righ Engine Pneumatics OFF in the overhead pannel, but i can get to the root cause. I have unmaped the "E" Key thinking about the "Select Engine" comand, but it is not working. I use lastest FSUIPC registered, Saitek Pro controls, FS2CRE, FSPassenger(Though it was something related, but is not). Any clue... Thanks in advance for your suport...

I've been looking a bit into the differences between the 200LR and the 300ER for takeoff purposes, primarily because Topcat doesn't have the 300ER as an option. I will premise this post by saying I am not a pilot, just an enthusiast and as such I am sure I am prone to reading and then quoting something that is likely wrong... So please don't hit me too hard when what I ask might seem very silly amongst those that know far more about the real 777 than I do. That said, here we go: PMDG have the 200LR with 110B1 engine at 110K thrust and the 300ER with the 115B engine at 115K thrust. Hi guys! I recently installed the PMDG 777 package into FSX:SE and the 777-200LR works, however the 300 variant never asked for a code upon installation and it never prompted me for it. Now everytime I load the aicraft I get the panel completely dark and nothing works. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and not working. Any suggestion on what might be happening? Hi all I've run through the tutorial a few times and I can't seem to find the specific instructions for how to taxi after landing. (Edit: To be fair the tutorial does say there would be more detail in Tutorial 2) For ref: I have my A/T MANUAL OVERRIDE set to IN HOLD MODE ONLY. I have seen posts where people complain they cannot use the throttles manually for taxiing. I have the same issue, but only after landing. The other posts seem to cover takeoff and landing and seem to talk about using a throttle quadrant and FSUIPC. I use FSUIPC but I don't have a throttle quadrant. I use F1-F4 for the throttle. I am happily able to use the throttle manually to taxi …
