PMDG 777

Hi everyone, I have a question about pfpx and the 777-300ER PERF INIT UPLINK. When i set up a route from lets say, KJFK-EHAM in PFPX i then start up FSX get in the plane and do the route uplink from pfpx, so far so good. Then i am getting the PERF INIT uplink and the FMC is asking for me to eighter reject it or accept it, but when i do i am not getting the right numbers from my flightplan from pfpx. Instead i am getting the max load numbers of the PMDG 777-300ER, i have searched for any clues as to what i have done wrong here. I have set up al the exports to FSX and PMDG 777-200LR and 300ER, could somebody please help me as of what i am doing wrong here? Yo…

Ok... really things are starting to get wacky... On FSX Boxed... 777 was a dream... did tutorial 1 without a hitch.... Two weeks ago re-installed all osW7 and FSX-SE. Then, Installed all my add-ons without a problem. Until yesterday all was well... Seemed to run out of memory just before descent in to Dubai.. I am using all the recommended software.. W7 64bit Pro 24 gigs of RAM on a XEON 5670 hex Affinity mask 62 SAMSUNG 1 Tera SHD with 25000 mb virtual ram the rest of my FSX.cfg a few tweaks but as I said.. All was running perfect and smooth. Gday.... having a new issue with the 777. Running through the tutorial 1 for the second time in prep for the tut 1.5. Something that never happened initially.... When I click on certain items I lose my mouse cursor and cant get it back unless I pause and open another non fsx related window.... In other words.... Not a cursor to be found...... This has never happened before. The other issue which I did notice the first time around, was that when zooming in to a part of the cockpit, My mouse will not work anymore on any of the controls... and at times the particular button switch etc, never comes back. Hello, Im having CTDs when using my Pro Flight Cessna Controls for different P3D V3 commands. For Expl: 1-Taking off from KMIA, i increase thrust and then press toga button configured in my saitek via FSUIPC(Deleted from P3D Controls setup) --> CTD..... Indication about the error: ntdll.dll 2- Updated my Saitek drivers to lastest --CTD again, same reason ntdll.dll 3-Removed scenery(Latin VFR KMIA/DrZeiwecki Miami) --> CTD, ntdll.dll No matter what i do, when trying to use any joystick button for TOGA, i get CTD... and sometimes happen for other commands(Ie:Flaps).... I have a small problem with the Yoke and parking brake actions of my cockpit translating to the VC of the 777 in both FSX and P3D, (ither version when it is loaded.) I can control the A/C with the yoke in manual flight. The foot pedals work fine for rudder and brakes. My controls do operate normally in the 737 in both platforms but not the 777. I have the latest updates for all that is required. There is no visual representation of Ailerons or the parking brake lever. The Ailerons on the wings do show operation if I use the keyboard controls, but not the parking brake. It does not show as operating on the text message on the screen either. I use Preci…

I've had PFPX about as long as the PMDG 777 has been out and I am just now trying to understand the intricacises of flight planning with redispatch. My motivation is a flight I just finished DL17 KLAX-YSSY using same route and times. My planned fuel remaining at YSSY was 33,764 lbs (a lot of fuel to haul for all the whatnots that happen) and it looked like I was going to get there closer to 38 klbs which puts me at maximum landing weight (492 klbs) so I am now motivated to learn about redispatch. I've tried it before, PFPX has a button you push and it's automatically included, but didn't understand what was happening. My fuel remaining went down but so did the max ZFW…

Hi have the SP1D, and have fsrealwxlite feeding weather from a laptop connected to my PC via fsuips/widefs. Even when I don't copy the weather file into the pmdg/wx folder, if I request descent forecast in FMC I get weather at certain flight levels. Where is that weather info coming/being pulled from ? Is it coming from fsrealwx lite ? Or some random some picked from somewhere. Some flight I generate wx file from simbrief and copy into the pmdg/wx folder before the flight, which I assume gets winds based the flight plan. But even if I don't generate a wx file, plus there are no old files in that folder, my fmc is able to get descent forecast winds, has be conf…

Hello, Every time i fly with the PMDG 777-200LR, FSX shut down after about 1h 1/2 of flight, sometimes before, sometimes after and that wherever i am in the world. I take a screen when it appears with the Process Explorer software running You can see that it's only 2.176.000 Virtual Size used, far of the 3.000.000 of the OOM bug. Any ideas ?? FSX + acceleration, for the most part is working good. I'm having some sound issues that I can't seem to fix.Most of my aircraft work well, some get a whoos whoos sound when I flick a switch. It does it 4 times, then back to normal, I.E. my LVD 767. My iFly 737 does it with some of the sound like, weather radar test, and during pushback with AES or GSX. Now my pmdg 777 is doing it all the time. It's the recirc fans that are normal for about 2-4 seconds, then whooos, whooos 4 times, then repeat. I can fly but I have to turn the sound way down or hit Q to sound off while taxing or taking off... I can't figure out what is causing this. I even got a new sound card tha…

good morning. I am still plagued with VAS issues on the 777 when flying into EGLL. Its the only airport I cannot succesfully land into without getting an OOM. Can someone please advise what settings // sliders they use to do it. Ive tried turning off all the orbx products (ie orbx england, orbx CRM, NRM etc etc) and still i cant do it. Like I said egll is the only airport I cannot do. Many thanks as always.

I have the 777 and it has crashed and unusable. When I checked on the website I cannot download, I seem to have to purchase a new one. Is there a cheaper way to get this downloaded without paying the $85.00? Can I purchase an extended download? I purchased this about two years ago. Very frustrating. Thanks for the help. Jim

Hello, For a while I have had the PMDG 777-200lr and -300er for FSX:SE. I submitted a support ticket 0E4-1D038FC3-0420 about the -300er external camera. When I use any livery other than the default livery I only see shadows on the camera. I was told by Mr.Ryan it is an Operations cener problem. I then tried to copy a British Airways paint scheme into the Default folder beccuse that is the livery I wanted to try to make the program think that that is the default. I tired it in another B737 plane and assumed it would work in Pmdg. I made a mess of the files. To fix the problem, I ran the un-installler (200lr/300er) and deleted the pmdg folders in the local roaming and…

Hi, it's not 100% clear to me and I have been finding contrasting opinions... Is the 777 weather radar TILT angle related to the aircraft longitudinal axis or to the horizon? Example: what tilt do I need to set if I am climbing with 10 degrees pitch up, in order to scan what is in front of my nose along my path? Thank you.

Would somebody mind giving a description of how the APP mode on the EFIS works in the ND for the 777. I have found one video that appears to explain EFIS and using the APP mode in the ND, but it's in German. I have not been able to really find any other source that goes into detail on it. I'm wanting to understand it better so I can use it for more situational awareness. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Crash.

Hey, this is just really irritating me, and I just want to know if it is a bug or not. I have GSX, and the marshaller tells me to go past the line indicating to stop, and tells me to keep going. The line just goes past the 2nd entry door of the 777. I am using HD Airport Graphics by zintek, and this also happens with default scenery. I just want to know if this is a known bug or if this is something wrong with only for me. I searched through the forums and didn't find anyone with a similar problem. Just a note, this happens at every airport, even at heavy gates. The gate I am now is a heavy gate.

Hi all, I have been having an on going problem with the 773. After I start the engines and go to taxi only the right engine is applying thrust. The left engine appears to have properly started and is showing that I am signaling for thrust but it wont apply any. I noticed that the left engine bleed button is signaled to be ON but illuminated OFF in amber. After reading the manuals I only found that two things could cause this. Either I pushed the button to OFF or a system fault. I have tried the start up several different times, following the published procedures, and still not luck fixing it. Hello, I have a question if this is intentional or if I do sth. wrong: When I save a flight, e.g. for the Freighter 777 and I add this as Startup State in the FMC, this is then valid for ALL models (PAX and 300ER)? I expected that such a startup state is only valid for the current model. Can I change this somehow? many thanks!

Yes, I know. Another topic on VAS... I just have short question for you. When you have just loaded up your 777, how much VAS do you see remaining? Tried to do a flight from KSFO to YSSY. Except for those airports, I have Orbx global base, vector and open lc for Europe enabled. I have about 500 mb remaining at the start, which drops down quite fast, so I will need to save and reload before take off. The same for the arrival, I save and reload just before the TOD, and again I start with about 500-600 mb remaining. I´m lucky if I make it off the runway before it´s game over... So, I just wanted to know what you guys are seeing to figure out if my value is normal or…

Hi PMDG-Team, not sure if you have noticed, Mark Foti released a Remote CDU Server for Android / IOS for the 737 NGX : library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=191519 Works great on a tablet or big smartphone and much enhances the fun ! If I understood Mark correctly, a 777 version would need similar SDK contents. If at all possible, please consider making this for the 777 possible as well. Mike Ackermann
