PMDG 777

    Hello everybody, I'm new to PMDG, I followed the tutorial 1 everything gone fine. I wanna fly by myself and sometime the takeoff refs are not taken, when I clik on the LSK R, It show me TAKEOFF SPEEDS DELETED and impossible to validate the speeds I noticed that is correlated with the incapacity to enter a temperature in Thrust ref, SEL field Any ideas?     13 hours to go. RTE (shortened) KSEA HNL NN (star) Marlin YSSY. I'm going slumber and let it fly I am still very happy with the $$$ I shelled out for this. I am thinking about the 737NG. I had the NG for FS9 and was pleased. I will let you know how it goes. BTW is there a reason that FSX pauses about 5 hours in to a flight when there has been no activity. I have unchecked the pause on task in the settings. Time for a crew rest. Randy

  5. To all, 1. Are the flap and gear speed limits that appear on the front VC panel IAS ? 2. I haven't been able to determine how to "arm" VNAV so that a VNAV "Path" type descent will begin automatically when "TD" point is reached. What I've needed to do is to use VS control (with AP engaged) until the Flight Path pointer is very near to the FMC computed flight path and then engage VNAV. Otherwise I wind up in VNAV "Speed" mode and the T7's descent does not occur on the FMC's flight path. 3.     Have noticed that the EFIS panel is not operational on both the Pilot and Co-pilot sides despite the knobs, etc being clickable: 1) Unable to change map ranges 2) Unable to switch from one mode to another (i.e. map to plan or vor). 3) Cannot set barometric pressure or switch to STD 4) Will not switch to metric 5) Will not show airports, waypoints, etc. on NAV display Gary CYQM

    Does anyone know if PMDG is likely to implement functional cpdlc to B777? There are so many ATC programs such a PFE delux, ProATC X, it is possible to develope it with either of them. Atlease Activeskynext ATIS can be requested on CPDLC which is a real life function. Best wishes ash nerurkar

    Hi everybody, I am experiencing LNAV issue since a few days. I was using a Flightsim yoke with autocoordination ON and read that the PMDG 777 was not designed to be flown with autocoordination ON so I decided to switch to a joystick with rudder controlled by rotating the stick. I have to say that I rediscover my 777 and enjoy it a lot. But I also experience an over-anticipation of LNAV turns when following STARs. For example, I recently flew from KJFK to SBGR and followed the ANSUG1B arrival for ILS09R. At some point, the STAR commands you to turn right almost 90° to downwind track. 5 NM before the turn, the plane starts turning and very soon I find myself way in…

    13 minutes to FL280 with ZFW of 511800 lbs. and fuel of 250300 lbs. for a 13:30 hours flight KMEM-RJAA. An amazing show of power when you consider the A/C weighed 381.5 tons. The engines are powerful. Just an observation, no help needed.

    Hello Everyone. The white line on the navigational display screen, which is always supposed to point to the heading at which I am travelling, is slanted. Am I not flying at an angle? Or is this some glitch? I have saved and loaded this flight a few times. Sometimes, it realigns, but then it goes off center again. Now, I am getting crosswinds at 113 kts, so I don't know of this is the cause. When I loaded the flight, I set active sky in historical mode to reflect the time displayed on the plane's clock.     Purchased my new 777 last night and now P3d Wont start up fatal Error and shut down on start up. It started and ran last night too a short (very unsucessful) flight. then went to bed. I uninstalled and P3d started up. Yes i read documentation and ran all simconnect yes i turnoff error logging P3d V3 fully updated win 10 64 fsuipc 4 Registered Ezdock (but not loaded on start up ) Thanks for the help in advance Lee Summer, new to the community.

  13. Whats really the pros of the ISFD? I know on the 737 there is many reasons. I have seen many pilots say the prefer the separated ones because the info is split into three gauges not one.

    Hi, during the engine start I get an insufficient fuel warning on the CDU and there is difference between the totalizer and the calculated fuel numbers. Some minutes later there is a fuel disagree warning and the option to use the totalizer numbers on the progress page. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you. Jan

  19. Hi I got problem with thrust reverse in P3Dv3. The aircraft fails to reverse thrust once touching down with A/T engaged but does it seconds later. I bring my Saitek throttles back to idle but engines cannot drop to idle immediately. A/T Flare Idle Override is set On in Option. However, the reverse works well if A/T is disengaged before landing. I am not sure if it is a bug or something. Does someone has the same issue?

    I have been unable to identify the reason why I am constantly receiving this call-out below transition altitude/level when both of the SYNC CAPT and F/O BARO and SYNC CAPT AND STBY BAROs are set in Simulation to YES. The message i get every time i try to install any PMDG products into P3D. money wasted. any help ASAP would be much appreciated. i have uninstalled p3d so many times to get it to work.... but no. 200 pound seems to have gone down the bucket! cheers folks!

  23. I tried to download a livery for the 777, but it seems the OS center doesn't work anymore. All options for the 777 are simply missing. Same for their other aircraft covered in the OS Center by the way. So, either PMDG screwed up their Operations Center or there is some work in progress

    Hello, I just love the PMDG 777-300ER. But it is one thing thats annoying me. And that is the autothrottle. I have some problems specialy on approaches when the winds are changing. Depending on the change I either comming in too fast or to slow. And the wind change dosent have to be that big. It can be enough that i get 10-15kts headwind change or so on the last 3-4nm on final. If it is just a littlebit gust I always have to disconnect the A/T and go manualy on the throttle. The autothrottle IRL have for sure some limitations in heavy winds/gusts, but it cant be so inaccurate ? My setting for the autothrottle is "In hold mode only", so that shouldent be a i…
