PMDG 777

Is there a comparable way to trigger time compression off/on in the 777-300 as the right click on CHR in the 777-200? This would be preferred to me versus going to the menu in the FMC. Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find the answer in the documentation. thanks fred ziker

Not sure if anyone has noticed this before, but you can overheat your brakes in the 777 and it brings your aircraft to a stop. They are red hot as well. Nice touch!

Hello PMDG! Today I made my first flight in my new PMDG 777. Everything is working perfect, however, there are no sounds at all in my cockpit and only the engines are audible. I searched online for some other people who had these issues and found out the audio device in the FMC should match the audio device set in FSX options. The audio device in FSX was set to ' default' and in the FMC to 'W2261 HD NVIDIA etc'. I changed the FSX settings to the W2261 as well, so all settings are pointing to the same audio output but again, only the engines are audible. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for your help!! FSX atc is calling the T7 as "type Boeing" and not saying "Boeing 777". This is not a biggy in the scheme of things but why? I checked the aircraft cfg and all looks ok. Gnacino

Okay hello all, I am having an issue with the 777-300 landing lights display from the outside views (spot view etc.), the 77F and 772 do not appear to have this issue, I only noticed this issue after the most recent update, even tried a "repair" with the 773. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have examples included in the album link of the 77F and 772, starting with the 773 scrolling down. you will notice the rather "2D" blue and red lights that appear to be "infront" of the landing lights. thank you. As the topic title suggests , after firing up the sim and flying I get blue squares over ALL the exterior lights on the aircraft. On top of that when I go to the Operations Centre to repair the livery, Its as if I still need to purchase the 777 for P3D, which I obviously have. Was working fine before????.

Hello everybody Although I am not sure if my topic suits to this forum but there is maybe someone who made the same experience. I am working with two screens. Before I have downloaded the updated version of the 777-200 I could switch to the second screen and had still the sound of the flying plane. With the updated version there is no sound to be heard anymore. It is not a big issue annoying anyhow. What is different between the native 777-200 and the updated one in this context? Hello, I knew that the Coexistence issue was supposed to be fixed for FSX and FSX:SE on the same system with the update. However, I have a different situation. On my system I have FSX:SE and P3D V2.5. On FSX:SE I have the -200LRF and -300ER. I only have the -200LRF on P3D. I had a issue earlier where if i used the -300er in fsx and then tried to use the -200lr in p3d the p3d would ask me for the activation code again. My question is when you say coexistence issues are solved would this apply in my case if i downlioad the updates. I ended up buying P3D afer i got the -300er and then decieded i only need a -200LRF (and not buy the -300er for P3D). I didnt buy the -300er fo…

From the program menue PMDG I can read PMDG777 Introduction and PMDG Tutorial1 starting the Operations centre for the 777 I see in Documentation 6 documents but I cannot open them PMDG777 Introduction PMDG Tutorial1 Flight Crew Operations manual etc etc. Have I done something wrong or they cannot be opend?

Hi all, The flaps/Slats on the 777 are operated normally by Central HYDRaulic System.(primary mode) If I understand well, When HYDR SYST C is off one has two options: -Use SECONDARY Mode by simply moving the FLAP LEVER (as if all was normal) Flaps are then moved by ELECTRICAL motors and SPLIT flaps appear on the Eicas, Flaps extension will be very slow, but one can extend them up to 30° -Use ALTERNATE Mode by arming the corresponding Button and setting EXT, Flaps are then moved by the SAME (?) I searched the forum and can't seem to get this right. By looking at my question, you'll see I lack the skills needed here, so I need a simple answer please. When hand flying an ILS approach, (there are two queues I can go by.) 1. In approach mode (the round knob next to VOR L) - I look at the glide slope indicator and the HSI indicators and keeping those ticks centered and I guess keeping the magenta HSI lined up. Hi guys, May be simply overlooking stuff but i have reread the manual so many times. (162/163). ASN option set (Auto Load simulator Flight plan) I create a flightplan in PFPX and export the route and WX file to the default locations. The datalink system works perfectly and I get everything set up correctly. However, when I now go into the forecast page and request the winds, i get the topic title error message when trying to load it in. After this I loaded ASN with the flightplan, I changed the PMDG>>Options> Simulation pg7 > Create and Load FSX plan to FSx. Still nothing, am i going wrong somewhere, or do you think this is a …

Dear friends, I am trying to use the COMM display as mentioned on PMDG 777 tutorial as: "As the APU powers up, you notice an •ATC prompt on the EICAS with a note at the bottom of the upper display that says “LARGE ATC MESSAGE.” To display the message, you select COMM on the display control and see the following on the NEW MESSAGE pages." Nothing happens when I try the options ATC, Flight Information, Company, Review, Manager or New Messages. Is it possible to use this tool? How can I do to use? Hi everybody! So I tried searching, but I haven't found anything. Has anybody figured out a way to display the CDU on a tablet using the ARX control software? I just got this keyboard, and thought, what a great idea to use my tablet as the cdu. Or I guess I could search for another way to do this perhaps. During the flight phase CRZ and with VNAV, LNAV and AP activated, sometimes unexpectedly the 777, mainly in some change of course, loses the programmed route and I have to get it back manually. Some idea? Thanks in advance, Francisco Mateos

So I am in the process of switching to p3d from FSX. I currently only one FSX PMDG is there a reason why p3d products more expensive? Why didn't PMDG offer a discount to any existing FSX customer that are literally buying the Same product in another platform These are ligit questions but a PMDG customer, who always enjoyed PMDG products and will always do As long as they keep making great products.

To reproduce it you have to: Be in flight or ground doesn't matter. Wherever in the world. Put VHHH as arrival Select the SIERA1G arrival ILS25R Transition TD Then you'll have to try to remove the GO AROUND procedure. When you'll try to remove the LKC and/or (LKC-4) points your FMC will "freeze" the route. CONSEQUENCES: The points arn't deleted. Am i able to install it or to get the p3d license for free because i bought the Base Pack for about 100 €!? Other question: How could I update my 777 if i havent bought it online? When loading the plane for a flight from Stockholm to Vienna (Yes Ethiopian does operate the 777 on that route. Not the -300ER but oh well) I noticed that the Boeing tag on the rear right fuselage says Boeinf 777-300ER and not Boeing http://imgur.com/E85B4iZ
