PMDG 777

Just seeing if anyone has shared this issue. Dimming the brightness on the PFD, etc, doesn't work as it used to. If I turn the dim switch all the way down, the gauge dims just a little instead of going completely dark. Any clues? I'm sure it's something I'm not doing right. Regards

Hi there so I recently bough the PMDG 777. I loaded up a 777F in Multilplayer )(through direct connect lan) and everything was fine. I then noticed another person who was in a 777-200 LR which I haven't used yet and his landing gear wasn't visible. I just assumed this was because I have not loaded one of the 777-200 LR and I was sure I was supposed to say yes to a few gauges that would come up before you can use the plane. So then I tried loading in with one of them and I had no landing gear and everything was black. I tried single player and there was no problem. I went back to multiplayer and it was the same again. I then tried the 777F and that too which didn't before …

Recently, when playing pmdg777 is always a problem bothering me. In the final landing phase of flight, I have disconnected the autopilot and autothrottle, manual approach, the plane suddenly Automatic full throttle, which has affected the effect of landing. Sometimes, in the down position and sliding phase, will suddenly automatically full throttle. Including PMDG737NGX would be like this. I re installed computer system, FSX and PMDG products, may I ask how to solve, thank you very much.

Hi, I´ve been having a problem since I got the 777. It has always occurred, but it seems to have intensified recently. I set everything up for the flight. Everything goes normally until I reach about 15000 feet, some other times it happens when reaching cruise altitude. At that moment the PFD, ND and EICAS shut down, they go black, although the FMC keeps working perfectly. This is driving me crazy. Thanks for your help in advance!

I downloaded the official TNT repaint by PMDG that said it had accurate panel configurations but it did not. Can someone post an accurate TNT ini file? Thanks - David Lee

Hi everyone I got this issue with the T7 related to pushback only all other systems in the aircraft work fine and because i dont have gsx i use the built in pmdg pushback feature but for past two months whenever i start my pushback ( 90 degree turn with 270 feet distance average) it goes the opposite direction, for example if i want push with nose left it does with nose right and it stops at a greater distance than the desired. (i am using FSX steam edition and i have the latest updates of the t7)

Hi Guys. I'm of the understanding that when you manually close the Thrust Levers to idle thrust the aircraft will go into HOLD mode and will be shown on the FMA. This understanding comes from watching a YouTube video in the Asiana incident at KSFO. On my sim (P3D V3) when I close the Thrust levers using the F1 key the aircraft stays in SPD mode and the Thrust Levers will move again automatically to regain the intended thrust. What is the correct behaviour of the aircraft when manually closing the Thrust Levers, should it go into HOLD mode? If so how do I get HOLD mode to become active? Thanks for any help

Hello, I've recently purchased the PMDG 777 and I am attempting a fix for a previously mentioned problem on this forum, regarding "phugoid" type flight behavior while the aircraft is on autopilot. I previously uninstalled and re-installed the 777 due to this, but the behavior came back after a few days. Additionally, my problem with "phugoid" behavior also seems more severe than some previously addressed concerns, my aircraft doesn't just deviate in altitude 1000 feet or so, but literally will dive into the ground. Everything works fine until just before t/c than the gauges went black, but all buttons work. Just black gauges. Is it oom, or what is it. It happen some times and it getting annoying

Hi chaps, Can I just ask why the PACKS.........OFF item on the secured normal electronic checklist in the PMDG 777 isn't a closed loop item, whereas the item is closed loop in the abnormal checklist during a pack failure/overheat? Hello folks, I went into the OC 3 days ago to find several messages about updates I didn't have, so I let it update the OC 1st. Then I checked the other messages to find I needed to re-download full installers for the 777-200LR and 777-300ER which I did (always turn off AV during downloads) but after extracting, I found zero documentation on how to install these in the read me or on PMDG site. Frustrated by the lack of instructions, I simply ran the new January 2016 installers (as admin and with AV off) and used the "repair" option for both the T7-200LR and T7-300ER. Seemed to work until my OC said that I had corrupt liveries click to repair which I did. No m…

Watching a replay of a Twitch stream, the streamer claimed to be part of the British Airways virtual and said SOP for BA in real life is to not use nav lights? At least on the 777? Is this true I've never heard of it before. -David Lee

I pause my approach into Heathrow then save with the FSX Save Flight Menu . I go into the PMDG Setup Menu, press STATE SAVE and give it a name. I then receive a message that it’s being saved………….and that’s as far as I get. Additionally at that stage there’s no way to exit Pause and I’m therefore forced to end the flight. Perhaps I should also mention that a green border sometimes appears and surrounds the area used for writing the name. When I load that saved flight I’m at the correct height and position BUT the aircraft is “cold and dark” I’d appreciate any comments. Cliff

Need some assistance on Flight Director (I believe) Not sure what is happening, This never used to work this way and cannot think why this has changed. Now whenever I load the 777 from the Scenario Setup, the plane loads (starts its countdown top of page) and then A/T starts up and the plane starts rolling down the runway without any interaction on my part. My throttle is over ruled anytime I make changes to it. I've noticed if I disable FD or turn off A/T the throttles it will not take over. I recently bought the PMDG 777 to do long haul flights with my friend. I have not had a chance to use it though because it doesn't work. When I spawn in, there's no landing gear, I can't press anything, and my yoke is at full up and full left. Please help me!

I just installed and activated the 777 and 777-300 expansion but the livery downloader is not available in the operations center. I tried to update the manager but no luck, any advice?

I got my PMDG 777 for Christmas. It was the disc version, and when I tried to install it, I got this message: "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid FSX installation location." Every time I try to install it I get that message. I'm confused, because it worked for the PMDG 737 NGX. I'll add that I installed the PMDG 737 on FSX disc version, and then switched to FSX SE and it worked. I'm worried that if I uninstalled FSX SE, I'd lose all of my addons, so what do you recommend?

On my previous T7 AIRCRAFT I used to have the water set to cyan on the ND display which I found very beneficial, but since I Downloaded the PMDG FEDEX aircraft I can no longer find that option. Anyone help?

But having just come back to it and started all over again, I am still confused over an issue that bugged me when I flew this plane more regularly: My cruise altitude selected in the VNAV ECON Cruise page of the FMC is F350 under CRZ ALT, on the right hand side of the page its preloaded the STEP TO FL370. But when I go to my LEGS page the first waypoint has the altitude set at .MACH/FL370. Why is this?
