Hi, everyone Recently, just for fun I've done ADIRU/SAARU failure in my B777F and I was going trough abnormal checklist and I stopped at the point where according to procedure I had to enter heading into POS INT p.1 in the space which should be created in the FMS, but it didn't happen. Are there any extra conditions to be met enabling HDG entrance in POS INT page? Another symptom that I got after ADIRU/SAARU failure is that I lost elevetor control. It ceased to respond from control column movments comands, which visually moved in the cockpit, only trim was working, but after some time it also stopped to react. Hi all, I am hoping to get some advice here on a very frustrating issue. Whilst flying over any large mass of water my aircraft starts to fly of course whilst on autopilot. Disconnect the autopilot and try to manually fly the plane and the control surfaces are unresponsive and the plane ultimately crashes into the sea. The above issue has occurred on flights between Europe and the Americas, Middle East and the Americas, Africa and the Middle East. The strange thing that has me baffled is that I can easily do a flight from the Middle East to Australia with no problem, although I am always within a few hundred miles of land. Has anyone tried the PMDG auto turnaround mode along with GSX and if so do the two work together so that you don't have to open and close doors for GSX in everything just works automatically? Just wondering.

I fly mostly the PMDG 777-300ER and the default planes. I also have REX Soft Clouds. Should I set my texture_Max_load= 1024 ?. Does the 777 have any 2048 or 4096 textures ?.

After flying in autopilot mode I would disengage it for landing. The alarm will not turn off until I press the AP button again. It's hard to taxi in auto pilot. Thanks for your help. Carl27

Hi, I have very weird problem with rudders. As you can see in attached short video (link below) every time when I'm trying to turn left or right, rudders automatically return to the central position. Only 777 has this problem in other planes all works fine. I use Logitech G940. This problem occurs only when hydraulics is turned on

I just upgraded to P3Dv3.3.5 and I have to say the new performance is bar non the best I had With your product. Now here us the issue I encounter. While taxing or Flying for that matter if I Dial back or forward the Master Brightness knob the FPS drop from say 27 or 30 to somewhere between 13-15 then if I stop dialing the knob then the frames goes back to normal. Is that something you guys there at PMDG can look into. Thanks!!! Other than that I'm loving this bird even more now that I can actually use it with high frame rate!!

As you can see in the picture the center display is very blurry this never happened before not sure what is causing it. i am not using any shaders or the such should i try a clean install of the 777? Greetings! I performed a flight from KBOS to EHAM. The flight was overnight and when I revisited the sim and set the MCP ALT to a lower amount so I can descend via VNAV. I noticed nothing was happening. When I went to the VNAV page I noticed VNAV Alt was set at 8000 and not FL350. All of the preparation work was done using PPFP as I am teaching myself ETOPS operations. Upon further review of the legs page I noticed three waypoints in the start with 8000 for the altitude. Any ideas of why this happened? I reset the VNAV cruise from 8000 to FL350 and then used the MCP ALT and pressed it in to start the VNAV SPD mode for descent. Thank you.

I've read the documentation so many times regarding this but I still don't understand it. On the THRUST LIM page in the FMC, you need to enter in an assumed temperature for the thrust rating of the engines for takeoff and the initial climb. In the PMDG 777 Tutorial 1.0 it shows entering a temperature of 65 degrees celsius. I don't understand why this would be and where he got this number from. Let's pretend I'm taking off from some place rather cold like Boston, Massachusetts where the temperature right now is roughly between -23 to -10 degrees celsius on a consistent basis every day in the winter. When I go in to the fmc options I can set the default trans alt value for the aircraft. I fly in EU so it's never 18000 feet over here. However, no matter what value I put, the trans alt and trans level remain 18000 feet in the fmc during planning of the flight. What exactly is "default trans alt" in the aircraft options supposed to do?

Hi, this used to work till two days ago. On my 777-300er, I import the weather .wx file from simbrief into the directory and am able to upload winds from legs page, but only the descent forecast I get an up link error. Is anyone else seeing this ?. I was able to do this successfully for months, but started getting this error from yesterday.

Hello pilots! I'm doing my first multi-leg ETOPS flights in the 777 and I had a question for y'all. I landed after a transpacific flight and set up for the turn so I could fly back across the other way. Before takeoff though, I noticed that my ADIRU had a ~10-nautical-mile inaccuracy. I know this is typical for an inertial navigation system, but I also read that per transoceanic procedure, you shouldn't enter an oceanic leg unless your navigation system error is within acceptable tolerances. Obviously thanks to the GPS and DME-DME my total ANP was still ~0.06, but if my GPS were to fail over the ocean I wouldn't be able to navigate effectively anymore. Is there a procedur…

Hi, I have the 777-300ER. I have noticed that when I get the external forward view by pressing F9 key, the ground in front of the aircraft is not illuminated by taxi or landing lights. But using spot view and from the cockpit the ground is illuminated by the lights. Is this a bug, limitation or a configuration/setup issue? My specs in the signature below. Many thanks

Since the bottom beacon light is illuminating the engines can you please include the top beacon light illumination on the wing too? That would be awesome because I also enjoy not just the cockpit but also the wingview at cruising altitudes during darkness. It feels so realistic and I like the opportunity to switch between pilot and passanger. It just makes long flights more pleasant and thrilling with the 777. Hello fellow Simmers. Just an intermediate enthusiast checking in here, but seeking some help to figure out what I'm doing wrong. My issue: The A/T won't match the speed selected/programmed into the FMC/route. I tried searching a bit but I couldn't seem to find a thread that matches my issue, so I'm deducing that it's probably me not doing something correctly, rather than a fault in the software. So I am not a newbie to the FMC world having a few other payware aircraft which I am very familiar with. I am following the Tutorial 1 to the letter on the flight KLAX-KLAS. Route is OSHNN6 DAG KEPEC3 FL270. I fill in the fuel (short flight) and payload I fill in the flight plan I fill in the perf init page as directed, cost index 85, FL270 Activate I get an insufficient fuel warning and an unable next wpt and an unable crz alt warning I check the LEGS page and get some strange altitudes for the waypoints like 1233ft, 2343ft and so on to a max of 4320ft halfway to KLAS Obviously with the climb profile in point 7 above at such a low calculated altitiude the FMC will de…

Hi, I've been watching quite a few videos lately of the Boeing 777 and I've noticed that there are a whole raft of options built into the electronic checklist system such as 'PA Announcement' for Air Canada. Also they seem to move things around to suit the carriers style of operation. I think this has been mentioned before but does anyone know if a future expansion of the 777 to include the other variants would potentially include a electronic checklist modification to allow incorporation of carrier specific checklists? Started flying the 777. I use the PFPX/Topcat/ASN Real weather combo. When planning flights, all seems well until I input the route into the FMC and activate it, at which point I quickly receive a prompt "Insufficient Fuel" message on the FMC display, followed by the same warning message on the EICAS. This happened while planning a flight from KSFO to VHHX. I didn't take the chance of executing the 15+ hours flight with those warning messages, so I planned a much shorted flight; KSFO to KDEN. The same message appeared again, however I checked the 'Progress' page on the FMC which indicated I would land with all of my 12,000lbs of reserve fuel. Is this a documented bug, or …
