PMDG 777

Since the bottom beacon lights are illuminating the engines can you simulate the top beacon lights illumination on the wings too? That would be awesome because when I was traveling with the 777-300ER at night in real life I always saw the beacon light illuminating the wing.

Last night I did a flight from fsdt phnl to fsdt klax. I requested 08R. When approaching 8L/26R raas didn't tell me approaching 26R nor 8L. When I crossed 4R and 4L it told me approaching both of those rnwys. When I started taxing onto 8R it didn't say anything, but when I lined up it said on rnwy 8R. When I approached 24R at klax it said approaching 24R, but nothing when crossing 24L. Today I did phnl to FlightBeam ksfo and the same thing happened when taxing to 8L. No approaching 8L, but announced on runway 8L. There was noting when approading 28L at ksfo. It's kind of hit and miss when approaching runways. Any ideas how to fix this? Or wait and see what happ…

Hey Everyone - I've had a ticket open with the guys about this, but I want to see if anyone else has had the same problem. As normal, I'm at my wits end! I had everything working fantastic with my older version of P3D, and then out of nowhere I tried to open it again for my next flight and I got the BEX error. Opened the ticket, we came to the conclusion that it was time for a fresh install. So I decided to upgrade to P3D 3.2 to get the better performance, so I have been working on the fresh install today. I install P3D, everything works great. Install the 777 and now I'm getting the BEX error. Nothing else installed, so in my mind it has to be the 777? I'm out…

Brand new OS (Win7 64)and P3D v3,2 install - after installing PMDG with antivirus turned off and with admin rights none of the 737 or 777 will show an activation window to insert serials. Aircraft load but panels dead. Had similar problem some time back but never got a solution from PMDG. Would appreciate it if someone could help me sort out this problem because otherwise I would to reinstall everything from scratch again. Much obliged

Hello ALL, I just started flying normally, RTE1, when the left side ND magenta line vanished, as well as the top right fix information (it started showing VOR information instead). The copilot's side is just fine, and the route is being flown accordingly nonetheless. What's happening? Thanks!

The only thing unusual about the flight was that I had had some VAS warnings about 45 minutes before I clicked the middle panel brightness knob to the left of the captain. Immediate CTD. My VAS at the time of the CTD was 3.4GB. It's fine...I wanted to go back and try the departure again. Just thought you'd want to know.

Guys, I saw there is already some same topics but they all from 2014 and the only solution is mentioned there is the service pack 1. But now is 2016, I'm running latest sp and have the same problem as others earlier- I cannot set reverse thrust until nose gear is down. My setting is a/t flare override YES. I tried different ways- pushing after touchdown f1, then f2, disabling a/t after touchdown and pushing f2, setting a/t override to NO, set nullzone for trust axis - all no sucess. Any suggestions?

I'd planned on doing a flight today I ended up getting caught up trying to figure some things out in tutorial 1.5 and ended up doing a lot of reading instead, in part, to build up knowledge and, also, to fill in gaps of what I wasn't catching on the tutorial. Hi everybody Since the first weeks of flying with PMDG777 about two years ago I have had difficulty in holding speed manually in approach and landing. When I want to perform manual landing with manual throttle control I have had difficulty in keeping airspeed steady something which I can do very well with 737NGX. I tried both FSX own calibration as well as through FSUIPC but no success.

I'm wondering if i am able to have the PMDG 777 installed on FSX Steam at the same time? I've opened the installer again but it only gives me the option to uninstall or repair so is this not an option? Michael.

Hi everyone, I have recently noticed a problem that seems to have only just started to happen with the FMC fuel at destination prediction. After reaching my cruising altitude, the predicted fuel at my destination drops by about 400kg/hr over the course of the flight despite the winds being as expected and the arrival time remaining unchanged. Is anyone else seeing this? I am using PFPX for planning and ASN for weather injection and the two seem to match up pretty well. Usually I even made just a little fuel but now this 400kg/hr roll back is a real pain. Any ideas? Cheers Tim Carter

Every single time I'm going to land, at height of approximately 980ft, from the runway, suddenly the Terrain warning screams in the cockpit until the touchdown. By "Terrain warnings" I mean the "Terrain, Terrain, Pull-UP". I've got a screenshot here, please take a look yourself. Is it something I have forgotten or doing wrong or it's a bug/issue. Hello, I have just installed PMDG 777-200/300 for P3D V3, all the systems seems to be working fine... however the landing lights do not illuminate the ground. They do in other aircraft such as the Aerosoft Airbus packages. I also have the option in P3D 'Landing-lights illuminate ground' ticked. Any ideas what the problem might be? Kind Regards Craig

PMDG team, I was wondering if the beacon light will illuminate the wing and engine cowling at night like in the real world? I was very surpirsed when i realized this doesn't happen on the NGX, especially when you consider it did happen with the NG in FS2004. To me it adds additional realism when flying at night. What do you guys think, do you want to see it on the 777? Thanks!

Hi guys, My T7 is not keeping speed on approach... I running the newest pmdg b777 version on p3d v3.2. I read some posts in regards to this issue, so here the answers: 1. A/T overide NEVER 2. Flare overide YES 3. Weather ASN is good (no turb.0, windshear etc. ) a/t is working with a big delay so the aircraft is very unstable while final approach. Some times it could lead to a stall (vref + 5 knots is set). What to do???

One thing I noticed whn I started using this 777 is that, contrarily to other Boeings I have used, if I just want to fly a small circuit around an airfield, and want to set it fast for takeoff, even if in the ROUTE page I fill the Dept /Arr ICAO and Dept Rw, when I arrive at the Perf INIT / Takeoff page I have no V-speeds, and have to get back and select a departure among those available in the FMC database. Is this the way it works in the real aircraft ? Or, maybe there's a company option hiden somewhere in the PMDG FMC menus and I didn't find it yet ? Thx for any hints
