PMDG 777

I need some help, I've noticed that neither the rudder nor the ailerons will function in FSIUPC, but they will if I turn them off, what am I doing wrong? They work fine for other aircraft. I haven't flown this aircraft since the last update, is there something I have to do in the default panel loadout to get the rudder and ailerons to work? Patrick Boynton

Morning all, Does anyone, or has anyone, experienced their simulator to essentially freeze/pause for a second as the wheels come into contact with the ground? Becomes quite distracting in terms of the flare and holding the landing attitude. Thanks James Dinsdale

The percent full changes on the FMC, but not in the data up at the top of the FSX screen (Where it shows things like fps, the wind etc) Should it? Or is this something new? Patrick Boynton

Question: I wanted to have a default zoom=1.0 locked spot view which would be further away than the current default PMDG 777 view. I tried using RADitor but it does not recognize the 777LR MDL file (P3DV3). Can someone suggest how one could do this other than ctrl- command? Shez

I am trying to recreate a flight that took place 5/28/2016 from OMDB to EPWA. This flight took off, according to flightaware, at 8:23AM GST (4:23AM UTC). I set up ASN (as administrator of course, with antivirus/firewall OFF) to simulate the weather on the same date at 0340 UTC (to allow time for boarding and setting up). I leave the "force historical time to sim time" box UNCHECKED. I proceed to launch P3D and set up the scenario. I enter 5/28/2016, I check the GMT box under the time, and I enter the time 03:40:00. I used to have no issues but lately I've been getting an error message when I click on the link. Something about a Robot.txt thing. Strange.

I have boxed version of pmdg 777-200lr with sp1d. It is working perfectly fine. I want to download 777-300er directly from pmdg site. Can i do that and will creat any conflict? Do i have to uninstall 777-200lr before downloading 300ER? Best wishes Ash nerurkar

Hi all, Have been doing reading of the forum and the manuals for the PMDG 777. I have the 777 set up to automatically save and load a P3D flight plan, and ASN is set to automatically pick it up and use it. I am getting enroute and descent winds uplinked fine. My question pertains to the ALTN page and the WXR request function. I had a look in the FCOM and it said this will request METARS etc. for the alternates and spit them out on the flight deck printer. I am guessing this function is not modelled (obviously the printer isn't) - as in there is no way to view ALTN WX information for the airports from some part of the PMDG 777 - or am I missing something? …

Hi, I have a strange Problem with the T7, together with PFPX: In PFPX I created a Route from Kathmandu VNKT to Auckland NZAA. Simply the Route, no further flight planning. A total distance of about 6.426,5 nm. In P3D I loaded the 777-300ER simply with 100% of fuel. Some passengers, some cargo, but in total way below MTOW. Weather with ASN. The FMC kept telling me I had Insufficient fuel for the trip, so I didn't start the flight. Then I did a test, searched for a Route via rfinder (total distance 6.441 nm, so slightly longer) and fed the FMC manually. Same Airport, exactly the same payload, same total amount of fuel, same time of day, same weather. But …

My OC does not seem to be working correctly in FSX-SE. I have submitted a Support Ticket but have not heard anything back. The B7772-3 and NGX736-9 all work okay in the sim. I just cannot add any repaints. OC tells me it is Updated but both aircraft only give me an option to Buy. Would de-activating the Licence and re-installing help? Or any other way to get the OC working as it did previously in P3D v2.5? Any advice gladly welcome, thanks.

Had I used ATC, I think they would have suggested initial climb. But without ATC what should I keep as my initial Altitude? After a lot of angst about which big-iron plane to get, I finally picked up the 777 the other day. Eager to get it flying, I went through tutorial 1...a fair amount to absorb but it went quite well. I'm working on 1.5 now but have some basic questions about arrival, especially about flaps and speeds. Good day, I have problems while I am taxiing. Everytime my plane turns slightly to the right or to the left. There is no wind and it isn't a problem with the calibration of my X52 Pro because the problem exists also when I try to taxi with the keyboard. Also I tried to turn off the torque effect or tried to turn on the autorudder. It doesn't help. Do you have any suggestions? Regards Jerome A

Hi, I was wondering if i should submit ticket, but before that i try this forum. The case is that T7 is freezing every time when during flight i change some P3D settings which require to load again some data. Then progress bar is coming to some % number ( different every time ) and then stops. Whole P3D is still running, i can press ESC button and choose some option, but T7 will not load anymore. Then the only option is to close P3D. I have checked that few times, it is not single case. ( i have latest P3D version )

Hey there, To be honest I have no idea what to search for, for this issue. So I've installed and flown all the 737 variants (including expansion) and the same goes for the 777-200LR/F. I haven't realized that I haven't used the 77W yet after installing it into P3D, because when I wanted to fire it up today it asks me for the activation. Ok no problem. Did that, activation accepted, but when the aircraft loads nothing happens, everything dark and no (18?) seconds initialization. So I thought Ok restart the Sim and that should probably do it. If I play offline, how do I contact with ATC and fly ifr if I don't flight plan in the sim itself and I enter my plan in the fmc?

I've been having some issues lately around EGLL. I never flew into that airport until recently having purchased the UK2000 version and I've had everything from ASN crashing there, black screen crashes after landing and then tonight after another try, I got the FMC to lockup after trying to delete a waypoint in a STAR. I was just trying to fly an ILS approach to KSEA runway 16C with the 777 but I could not activate LOC or APP for some reason. The FMC shows the correct ILS frequency. The ILS approach to 16L works fine with the same aircraft. I have Taxi2Gate KSEA installed. Previously, the center runway didn't show but this situation was corrected a couple of months ago. I checked the KSEA-AF.bgl and it shows the correct info for runway 16C/34C but I don't understand why the 777 won't capture the LOC and APP in 16C. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim Driskell

I've installed PMDG777 a few months ago and a full formar install I am having this problem: When loaded the 777 apperas with a dark cockpit. I've tried to change de hour all other settings without sucess. I al so tried to re-install de redist simconnectors (3 versions) without succees. Could somebody give a hand on this issue. I have installed FSUIPC, EZDOK, SPAD NEXT, AE NEXT, VA Interface (for the Ipad FMC sharing). Thanks in advance Reynaldo / Brasil
