PMDG 777

Hi PMDG, Thanks to the SODE technique, we can now have working double Jetways by default. Can we add the information about the first exit on the left side in the aircraft.cfg to get the Jetways to work? Greetings from germany

Just a small point. When I start engines on the 777, at the point "where the fuel goes in" and the engine ignites, the simulation hangs for a very brief moment and then continues. Its not a big issue but its a bit annoying. Anyone have a similar issue or solution? I am running FSX. Thanks jsearl98

On Wednesday I flew without problems from OMDB to EGLL. After installing the Anniversary Edition today, I cannot take-off from EGLL on my flight to KSFO. The only change I have made between the flights was to install the W10 update. Now my pre-flight and taxi out work as normal, but as I enter the runway for a rolling start (i.e. without use of the parking brake), the aircraft initially accelerates as normal, but then progressively slow to a halt half way down the runway as if stuck in glue. The engines remain at full throttle throughout. Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

I am using the certified config for Emirates. I just want to double check, their fleet does not use the altitude alert sound? It seems weird why an airline would choose that option. If you have inside info please let me know if that is correct. Thank you - David Lee

I seem to be having trouble getting the Main Gear Touchdown Sounds to work on the 300ER. They work fine on the 200LR but not on the 300ER. I searched through the forum for topics on this and found one where the issue was resolved by a reinstall. After Uninstalling and Reinstalling both Models, the issue is still unresolved. Any thoughts anyone?

I completed a CATIII landing yesterday, however after releasing reverse thrust/autobrakes and turning off the runway, the autopilot disconnect master alarm went off, so i pushed the master alarm to turn it off, but the warning sirens would not stop and AP disonnect wouldnt leave from the EICAS. what did i do wrong? EDIT: solved. for anyone that might have the same problem, you just have to press the autopilot disconnect button on the yoke twice.

Hi Can someone help me. I bought a MSI laptop then installed P3D v3.35 works fine. Then when I install Pmdg 777 For P3D non of the gauges work and it also does not ask for my activation code. Thank you Best regards

So, I was on TNCM-KMIA just now, and I decided to plan a hold at SUGLO to loose some speed and altitude, then later on, I decided it was not required anymore, went to the RTE page, and click DELETE button in the FMC and click "HOLD at" LSK and the sim crashes, not a fatal crash, just a normal crash with no event viewer report. SP1 IS installed and I was flying the B77F.

I loaded my saved flight as usual and started doing the FMS data insertion. The thing is I had forgotten that I diverted in the last flight and used RTE2 for such. So when I realised I had input all flight plan data into RTE2 I just copied into RTE1 and activated this one. Then I went to PERF page, and just as I input the Cost Index all P3D hung and had to be shut down. The digits haven't even appeared in the field. What might have happened? I tried to reproduce, starting from the beginning (used the saved flight again), but now I reverted to RTE1 prior to inserting the flight plan data, and I had a freeze at the same point (insertion of Cost Index), except for the fac…

Hi, I have the pmdg 777-300ER. GSX adds the cones near wings and the engine. I would like to hide the default cones when choks are in place. Is that possible?. Thanks

PMDG Development Team, There is no mention of how to quickly access some of the panels needed in flight with the PMDG 777 in any of the documentation that came with this aircraft? Unless I missed seeing this information (I’m an old guy), I feel many of the items below should be in the Introductory Manual? And by the way, I don’t use, or plan to use, either the EZDOK or OPUS viewing systems. Hello, I would like to know how the flight plans should be set in FMC. Rte 1 = Flight plan from departure to arrival (example LSGG23 to EGLL 27R) Rte 2 = First, Flight Plan from departure, back to departure or alternate departure in case of EO (example LSGG23 to LSGG23) ? Enroute, Rte 2 = Alternative arrival possibility (LSGG23 to EGLL27L) in case of ATC assigning 27L instead of 27R ? Where do you preset the arrival Alternate route (example EGLL to EGKK) ? hi, upon setting all the correct parameters in the PFPX I am gettting for instance sometimes step climbs in the FP and others not. what is happenind ithat after setting the FMC of the T7 with all the parameteres received from PFPX it is calculating step climbs (even if in the original flight plan generated there are none). and sometimes other values for step climbs

Hi, the following situation: I create a flight plan with PFPX both for the 777 and for P3D. I start up my desired start situation at the gate and type the flight plan into the FMC. I load the flight plan in the P3D-menu to have the P3D-ATC. Now the following happpens: I take off and the P3D flight plan "deteriorates" somehow, that means, it looses contact to the PMDG flight plan and starts to depict a zig zag line involving airports in the area of the current airplane position. I have constantly the option to "request IFR-clearence for new IFR-destination" in the ATC window. I can go to the P3D flight plan menu and reload it, deleting the waypoints so far cros…

Many carriers that still use the no smoking sign, have the auto setting keep the no smoking sign on at all times. The pmdg logic behind this I believe, dings it off once you take off and put up the gear. Is there a way this can be changed? Thanks - David Lee

Never mind, I think I've found stumbled by trial and error on how to do this. A step-by-step startup procedure with a reference to where to begin in the sequence for a "short startup" state would be helpful but I haven't been able to find such. (I can't read 1000 pages of manuals (my old brain would forget what I read yesterday)...and I find it very difficult to find stuff in them. I've done keyword searches in all of the manuals for "startup" or "start-up" and haven't found any thing like this....perhaps I'm spoiled by my work in the chemical industry where we had precise, numbered, step-by-step startup and shutdown procedures)

Hi guys, i bought the 777 from aerosoft yesterday, and due to the upgrades at pmdg i could not activate and fly the bird. This morning i tried to activate several times and all of that results with an error stating 777x activation: A fatal error has occured. See log for details. Incident #2550-95884.
