PMDG 777

Good Morning As I prefer to use AES on covered airports and GSX for the rest, I would like to ask, if it is safe to use the repair for pushback function within AES which will slightly modify the aircraft.cfg: //AES Orgvalue:static_pitch=-0.465 static_pitch=-.79 //AES Orgvalue:static_cg_height=13.060 static_cg_height=13.22 Have not discovered any anomalies so far but I'm quiet concerned about 3rd party modification of well tested parameters. Without the repair to push thing the aircraft would constantly jump during pushback. Any advice from the dev team or AES users? Thanks in advance, Hendrik Horeis

Hi, When I tried to connect the PMDG 777 to FSInn, FSInn shows this: "The aircraft you are using doesn't have a recognized ICAO descriptor (ZZZZ). This may correct because the aircraft you are using is too old and wasn't assigned a ICAO code. But this can also be due to the aircraft not configured correctly." What is the problem? After flying this incredibly beautiful and perfectly developed bird a few days now, this is the least I can do to show my gratefulness to the best addon-company of the whole fsim-world! This is the config-file for Aerosoft's AES (Airport Enhancement Services) for the PMDG 777 LR (only!) The doors no. 1, 2 & 4 on each side are in use and everything is as perfectly aligned as I could, hope you like it! I experienced this behaviour that seems really strange and scary, yet I don't know where to even start troubleshooting! Basically everytime for some random reason my flight controls (running on USB and USB power) would blink quickly off and on. After that, the 777's AP disengaged, FMC fuel says 0 while fuel gauge on EFIS still has sufficient quantity in it. OVRD Equipment Cooling failed (I toggled on/off to fix it), but now EFIS showing white message APU RUNNING when the APU switch is off. Hello, I noticed during the cruise when I set the acceleration time 2 or plus, there is a recurrent bug the screen freezes and I can not do anyrhing exept turn of completly the computeur by the ON Button.(Or force FSX to stop) Is there any solutions, What could be the source of the problem? Maybe the screen automatic shutdown? I don t really know. Some help will be really appreciate. Regards Christopher M

Problem 1 Had the same problem at the start of 3 flights. Different weights, airports, SIDs so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Basically take off as normal, arm LNAV/VNAV a few seconds after departure all is well until after a few mins (probably around 5/6000ft) I go direct to a waypoint using the FMC. Basically the autopilot doesn't know what to do it just keeps turning left until bank angle aural sounds and keeps banking! I have to disconnect the autopilot, then select HDG SEL and then LNAV again and all is good for the rest of the flight! very strange behavior - only even happens straight after departure so not sure what the problem in is!. Hello, May I know what liveries are included in the PMDG 777 download? I purchased 737NGX few months ago and logged only about 40 hrs of flying time. But I still hope to be able to fly this lovely bird and hope to see the -300ER variant soon! Alan

I have saved a couple of flights now, and all of them doesnt load the panel state. This makes it hard to train some circustances because you will lose too much altitude while you are loading 20 seconds the first state, and then you have to go to the FMC and load the other one. The aircraft will go unstable. With the 737NGX I had the problem like 20% of the times when I saved a flight, 80% of the times the saved flights loads to panel state automatically. Anyone got the same problem or knows how to fix this? K. van Kaathoven

Hi. I was looking on wiki and it says the 777 200LR has almost a 100ton MTOW advantage over the original 200. And it even has a 50ton MTOW adv over the 200ER. Anyone know how this is possible. And what this means for airlines? Tamati

I have been testing the 777 a bit, and she of course went straight to my heart! You outdid yourself, and you rendered one of my favorite aircraft with such accuracy that I feel like I am now about to become a real 777 captain Thank you for what you contribute to the community and to aviation enthusiasts in all their many forms!

Currently am selling away my 7850 to have either a MSI TF760 2gb or 770 Having very bad fps with pmdg777 with my current card. Once the weather develop my fps will drop bellow 20 So am hoping for a slight improvement after upgrading And please advice on how should i tweak this bad boy

Good day all, After purchasing the 777. I was pleased. The aircraft looks stunning and the features simulated are fantastic. There is however an issue that makes the aircraft unflyable for me. When I select it from the fsx menu and start on ground. I can get sometimes all the way through preflight, other times 1hr into the flight but it is guranteed on 7/7 flights that fsx will crash with a fatal error. What makes this worse is that it doesnt list the reason for the error and nothing appears wrong up until that point. Anybody sorted this out yet? its not OOM, its not error where you can see what caused crash.. its like.. "FSX Crashed, end application.. bye" I have REX textures with OpusFSX and few addons airports.. And yes, UIAutomationCore.dll is in folder, and registred But the CTDs are totaly random, sometimes on final, sometimes on descent, without any input from me. Someone somewhere wrote thats caused by two things. Realteak drivers (which i dont have) and by OpusFSX. So what i did. I really like the auto cruise feature. I was wondering if it would be desirable to put an option to inhibit the "Pilot Response" feature in the Auto Cruise dialogue. I know you can turn it off in the aircraft options , however I think it would be convenient. Eric Wallace

I ran the Ops Manager, installed the update, added the FedEx livery and tailored my Aircraft Settings to my preferences. This happens in the 747x as well, where occasionally the panels will all freeze, and I'm not sure if its an issue to do with the fact that I save flights and start them up later, or what, but has anyone else experienced this as well?

..why so many people are complaining about frame rates. I have a good system, but not as good as others out there and I am getting 40 at Dubai V2. This plane is amazing, and yes it has a few tiny issues, but FPS are not an issue for me. Does anyone know why some people are getting such bad frames, yet others, like me are getting amazing frames? Wanted to start a brief list of popular add-ons that might affect the 777: REX AccuFeel Add yours, and any compatibility issues you've found. For me: no issues with REX so far, but combined with Accufeel turbulence, it can freak out the AP. turn turbulence in Accufeel off.

Hi all. Today when I was cruising first at FL370 step climb came up as usual on nd and plan reached FL390. During step climb cruise mode changed to climb mode but after reaching new FL390 climb mode on Eicas display has not been changed to cruise. Why? Am I missing something? Regarding (D-TO or Flex ) takeoff considering as an option. How can we assume that 45 or 60 OAT Is entered. Is it in Fcom manual about what temperatures to be selected. How can we do that? Hi everyone, I notice with the 777, I am getting short pauses every few seconds which leaves me grounded for now. I saw some posts on longer freezes, but this one perplexes me. Also, I do have good FPS, average around 23-25, but they dip to 3fps on and off for some reason. I have read the manual and also have adjusted the display FPS rates in the fmc as suggested. Just wanted to see if anyone else has this particular issue happening? I am using an i7 3770K @ 4.4ghz / nvidia GXT670 4gb video card / 16 gigs ram / Nvidia inspector etc....
