Hi, I get pilot response warnings about every 10 minutes during auto flight. Check ing the handbook it's because there's been no pilot action for a set period of time. Should this not be disabled in auto cruise? Peebee Oops sorry the server wouldn't allow me to post, I've ended up double posting when it came back on line. Please delete this post

I'm flying a hold right now and wanted to use the expect further clearance entry, but it won't accept an entry. According to the FCOM the entry should be in XXXX format, but when I try, nothing happens. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

It's very frustrating that the 777 uses the middle mouse click to operate landing lights, runway turnoff lights and A/T arm switches ganged together. EZCA already uses the middle mouse as a view control input, it's much more accurate to use that to steer the view than the hat switch. In EZCA this replaces the default spacebar+mouse input. Is there any way PMDG could make "ganged together switches" a user option so the middle mouse click can be used for EZCA? Perhaps right click could be the ganged switch control and left click the individual switch control. IIRC all are these switches are two position so don't need up/down inputs. I realise you can disable EZCA …

I have done a few flights and every one when I reach cruising altitude the cabin pressure warnings appear and the synoptic says cabin alt if 61000. I have no failures on. The pressurisation panel is on all Auto. Anyone got any solutions?

I'm having a weird problem when descending with VNAV. If I let the aircraft reach top of descent and start down on it's own in VNAV, everything works normally and the power reduces to idle smoothly. However, if I use the "descend now" function, it will start down slowly and reduce power a little bit like it's supposed to, and when it catches up with the VNAV profile and captures the path for a steeper descent, the throttle mode switches to "hold" and will overspeed if I don't manually reduce power to idle. Perhaps I've missed something, but I believe it's supposed to retard to idle at this point on it's own. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to understand how the PAX 77L should be loaded as far as cargo is concerned. When you select 100% load, certain values get delegated to forward/aft and bulk cargo compartments. However, you can manually enter values that are significantly higher... and then at some point the values turn yellow (but still the airplane has an OK center of gravity)... then only if you go higher, it says "Invalid Entry." What is the logic behind this interface? Moreoever, what I'd really like to know is: say I have XY.Z tonnes of cargo to distribute in the cargo compartments; any rules of thumb on how to do distribute it realistically? Thank you, Sam Kharey

I have submitted a ticket for this issue with PMDG as I am taking it is my system causing the issue; but if somebody could check something while in flight I would appreciate it. Watch the fuel at destination on the progress page and see if it stays consistent at one value with maybe a .1 or .2 fluctuation. On my 777 the fuel at destination from takeoff decreases .1 every 31-33 nm. So on takeoff for example the progress page says I should have 20.0 at KIAD. In actuality by the time I arrive at the destination I have 12.6 which is almost 8000 lbs lower that what was at departure. I have reinstalled the 777 but it did not fix the issue. Now before you say …

(Sorry for my poor English.) In the NGX, it's easy and fast for controling BARO and minimums of EFIS using mouse wheel. But 777 is hard. Mouse wheel doesn't work. And mouse Right/Left button click response is slow. The keycommand is also hard to use. There are "FAST RATE" keycommand. So If you want fast increase or decrease BARO, you must hold down two keys at same time.. LOL Using only one key increases or decreases numbers very slowly.. I don't know why PMDG make this. It's very not comfy. I want just mouse wheel or fast response of key command..like NGX.

After painfully collating all of the beta teams photos from the past month I have finally got a chance to go and take a few myself! I have put about 6 hours on her today and have loved every second. You guys have done such a brilliant job, its so hard to describe just how good and natural this plane feels. Here are some of my photos from the few trips I did today! Arriving into Dubai after faithfully doing Tabs's excellent tutorial flight Taking delivery of a brand new 777-200LR for United Virtual - KBFI-KSFO Arriving into KSFO and shutting down

In Nick's YouTube video at..... ...we're given a taste of the amazing 3D effect available on the 777 Flight Deck. Please.....what do we need to access this facility? Presumably a Third Party program? If so, what would that be? Cliff

On a long haul, while auto time compression was being used by the sim at 4x, I noticed the captain's PFD and ND were frozen. FO's panel was ok though. A first click on the clock clickspot to disable de auto time acc was not effective, but then it worked and, as soon as the time rate was back to normal I regained the normal function on the captain's side. Later on the same flight the same happened, and was cured same way.

Hi all, I have been reading these forums constantly for the past few weeks as we got closer to release day. I have never done a long haul flight in the sim and believe now that we have a stable time compression ability I will be doing many of them. My thing is I am reading a bunch of terms that I am somewhat familiar with but not 100%. I know that with long haul flights there will be lots of things to learn in order to do it properly. I also imagine I am not the only one in this position (mostly flying shorter flights within the U.S.). Unfortunately my T7 is still in the PMDG hanger as I am still getting the financing terms worked out with my bank (wife). I …

In real life and if I recall on some of the beta shots, alternate airports beyond the set range of the ND were displayed with an arrow showing which direction they were off the screen. Anyone know if this is modelled and if so, how to display it. Many thanks.

sorry my poor English. Good PCI sound card is necessary for FSX? In comparison with onboard sound, PCI sound card can increase FPS of FSX? And am I able to feel the difference? I am now using PCI sound card but it's cheap and 30$ not sound blast card.. I suffer from 777's intermittent freeze. And the moments is when some sound events happen. ex) freeze at touch down - and many touch down effects sound plays at that moment. I think about sound blast Z. The price is around 135 US dollar.(in Korea) Will this help to prevent the freeze?

First, the ticket system is not working! #1. I saved a panel state that I wanted. The next time I loaded the aircraft and did all the preflight, disconnected the ground power units and did a pushback. Lo and behold, there was a power unit stillattached to the aircraft. (see screenshot 1). I checked to make sure i had remover ground power and I had. See screenshot 2. I went and deleted all of my saved startups and tried it again and the power unit was gone. I think the problem has something to do with saved startups. #2 With the 777 , I am getting black aquares in the contrails and the smoke is black, if I get contrails at all. See screenshot 3 & 4. You will al…

Good day, I've bought the new 777(Great aircraft), But I get really low FPS. I get with the NGX 30 in Dubai for example, But with the 777 I get only 20 and while I am in cruise aswell when with the NGX I get 50-60. I've heard that you said that the 777 will take less FPS than the NGX, So there is maybe a solution?. Guy By the way it is taking a long while for the textures to load than the NGX do it quickly.

If you're a FSGRW user, you can support/re-enforce the request to have the FSGRW developers add PMDG 777 winds-aloft export functionality; the request was posted in their support forum, here: http://fsgrw.freeforums.org/request-pmdg-777-fmc-weather-from-fsgrw-export-t177.html
