PMDG 777

Captains, I would like to apply an older AIRAC cycle of navdata to the 777 than was currently provided. (Why? I want it to match with some charts I have and flight planning software that uses older navdata). I have the following questions: 1. Is it possible to use an older AIRAC from the 737NG era on the 777? Will there be any compatability issues? 2. If I wanted to come back to the original AIRAC navdata that came with the 777, how would I do that? Can I run the installer and only install the navdata? Or should I make a backup of a particular folder before changing anything... and if so, which folder(s)? I'm obliged to any of you that can help me out. I am …

Hi all, So i saw on the reg of the EK 777-200LR that the W in the reg is unreadable. perhaps it can be updated? Next to that i wondered whether it is possible to increase the volume of the humming sound on the engine startup (i also think that this sound is hearable for a longer time in real life, on some older aircraft.). this sound is way more intense on aircraft that are in service for some time. because the engine has had some more running time. After installing the T7 I'm experiencing the following problems: 1. My car won't start 2. My Mom is constipated 3. My wife's phone won't connect to the wireless 4. My copy of FSX still has to be configured for optimal performance 5. and finally ... I'm going to get fired because I can't stop flying this plane I'm tired of it!

We know the PMDG 777 simulates compressor stalls. My question is, short of activating the failure, how do you cause one? Flying through heavy ice storms? Flying backwards? Can you trigger the compressor stall without actively turning it on via FMC?

Hi guys a few of approach and landing into OMDB - the 777 is a fab plane and those REX clouds add to the experience... I wish everyones 777 was working as well as mine....hope you all get your issues solved.

Guys, I have tried two ultra longhauls now, DXB-SFO and JFK-DXB - on both occasions the terminals were gone upon arrival. The first flight i could imagine it was the FlightBeam AddonManager causing it, but this morning when I was landing in DXB everything seemed fine until I was off the runway, the gates was there and all other buildings was fine but the main terminals was not showing. The framerates was 30+ and no lags, and this has never happend before with other planes. My specs. are in my sig. and should be enough to cover the 777.

The PMDG 777 is amazing for me, and now im windering, when will the expansion pack be released and what will it contain? I personally hope it will contain the 777-200ER and the 777-300ER.

Can someone please tell me what the difference between these 2 panel states? I'm thinking the long one is loaded with more fuel while the short one is less fuel?

I am glad PMDG took their time and gave us such a quality product. Systems are incredibly simulated, graphics amazing. I usually don't care much for outside model, as I spend most of my time in the front office. Today after a quick flight, I decided to take a walk around the plane, I was hanging by the main gear checking out the amazing detail. As I noticed the flaps were still down, I hit F5 and was completely blown away by the sound as they came up. The only thing "missing" to make my T7 experience complete is for Bryan to give us FS2Crew 777. Dear all The heading more or less speaks for itself, just wondering if you guys can advise me. I've flight simming too long to spend nearly 60 quid on something, beautiful as it seems, that is going to run like a slide show. I've been there before too many times. I can't afford to upgrade, I'm a vicar and the Church of England feels its kudos will be too undermined if it materially over endowed us - my rig was the dogs balls when I bought it but time has seen it superseded many times and PMDG plainly considers that my vintage is now too creaking to get the most out of their designs. I've searched through the manuals, but can't find how to properly execute speed intervene while in VNAV. On the 737NGX, I use the spd Int button, and control the speed manually. I don't see this button on the MCP. And yes, I know they are totally different planes. Thanks, John

There's a factory on the way to RWY02 at Kahului, Maui. When the B777 flies right above it, I get the alarm 'TERRAIN'. I guess this is normal, but the alarm never stops until I touchdown. Basically 10ft from the runway I get the "TERRAIN TERRAIN, WOOP WOOP, PULL UP!". I don't have this problem with the NGX or any other aircraft, I don't think it is a bug from the FS Dreamteam scenery. ah-ha! For all those 'when will it be released' of which I was a silent participant, I say YES it was worth the wait! I love this baby and can't get enough...I know no one cares and I'm always mad when I waste my time clicking and reading a post like this, (I apologize profusely) but hey...just had to say it! The time and effort PMDG took for this add on is just incredible and it blows me away that they stopped at nothing short of a top quality product...and I appreciate it VERY much. whoo-hoo! 1- Put the captains inboard display selector from MFD to EICAS mode. 2- Select the left inboard display button on the synoptics panel. 3- Select engine synoptic button. 4- Return the captains inboard display selector for the ND back to MFD. 5- select the LWR CTR synoptic button. It will stay this way until you select the ENG synoptic again.

I have my Joysticks calibrated through FSUIPC, FSX Controller is disabled. The issue is that when I move my throttle past Idle, it goes back to Idle, no way to override it, only if I disable the A/T ARM Switch, then I have full control of the Throttles. I guess I will have to use FS Controller for the Throttle and the FSUIPC calibration for the Pitch and Roll Axis. Any ideas? Thanks!
