PMDG 777

Guys, I am sorry to state that my expierence is getting ruined because I am getting very unstable FPS with PMDG 777. I used Kostas tweaks and refreshed new CFG also I played with performance settings in FMC but it's very unstable in cruise it goes to 18FPS than again to 40.. It's just not at like NGX like FPS .. I have no clue how beta testers claimed it to be very FPS friendly It's not fun to fly it any more seeing that fps and I don't want my 90 bucks to go like that. If you have any tweaks do share .

The mouse wheel works fine when adjusting all other rotating knobs bar the MINS and BARO knobs. The only way to adjust these knobs is with the left and right mouse buttons. Has anyone else have this problem and if so how do you fix it.

Hi all, I've been getting this flash/flicker of light in the VC during cruise. This flicker doesn't always come on, it can come on and off briefly and don't come back for a few seconds, or it can do that but the interval was more like in minutes. When the "light" flashes, the VC lights up (colour looks a bit more saturated), and quickly it goes away. Since I've been keeping my eye closely on this forum, I can't remember seeing anyone else raised a thread about this issue, so I'm suspecting it might be my machine that's playing up, or I might have missed something. So I did a fly today but I had a problem with ATC. I did a cold dark start and I think I missed something with the radios. I couldn't contact to the ATC so I didn't care at first but then while I was near to landing, FMC said ILS/freq error so its clear that its my problem. Can someone tell me what did I do wrong?

Hello all, Similar to the NGX (up until the most recent patch), I'm experiencing an odd EGT behavior during engine start. Just as the start cycle is ending: starter switch clicks off, red EGT line disappears, and EGT is stabilizing, the EGT will jump up approximately 60 degrees instantaneously. This is regardless of engine. For instance, after initial EGT rise, EGT spools back to 390 in an example, then pops right up to approximately 450 and remains there. Anyone have any insight to this? Hello, i´ve got a question for the test pilots! The Boeing 777-200LR can carry up to 301 passengers in real life. Is it possible to carry 301 passengers with the PMDG 777LR? Which seating configurations are possible (three class or two class etc.)? It would be very nice if someone could give me an anwer.

I see there are set views for the radio stack and MCP by cycling the A key, any way to map a key or set a view in the A rotary for the overhead low view please? Cheers.

Hi all, I am disconecting the A/P and the A/T at about 1500 ft from runway but I hear this disconection sound which does not stop. What is the problem? In the tutorial the landing is an autoland but I want to handfly her during finals. Thanks, Christos

Hi all! I recently bought the 777, and I must say its FANTASTIC! :lol: BUT! I have been experiencing "lag" on touchdowns with both of the PMDG 777, and the 747. (I dont experience this with the 737 and smaller jets)? By lag I mean that the screen freezes for 1-2 seconds (not a fatal error or something like that) and after those seconds it returns to normal conditions, but after that has occured the landings always feels hard. Soooo I was wondering if there is reason for this on my big-jets or is there some kind of setting which has to be turned off or on? :blink: Not sure if this is the case for every airport, but so far i have only landed the 777 in Duabi. Hi guys, I need serious help with the panel state issues on the T7. I reset the start-up state to 777-short and now i cant get the default state back. Ever since I reset the start-up state, I cant get the 2D panel at all, it seems to have disappeared. Secondly, even after setting the inertial position, I can't get the APPT, WX, Terr, wpt and any other switch that controls the ND to work. I tried repairing the problem by reinstall, but it didn't work. Please can someone help me get the default panel back. I was saving up for the 777 for long and now that the US$/INR seems to have appreciated, my funds proved insuffcient, had to cut my party budgets to get this bird and …

Ok, the story so far: Bought and installed the 777 and that resulted in my getting 9fps. All other addons seemed to suffer too after that point, but before it I was running with about 15-20 with every addon going working, weather, FTX and so on. So: I reformatted, reinstalled windows then overclocked my CPU, optimised the FSX.cfg and set every slider in FSX to the left. 10 FPS... sometimes if left alone it shoots up to about 45 then if I apply any throttle it shoots back down to 2fps before moving back up to 9fps. Sometimes when I fly I get an indication "FMS" message. Is there a way to find out why this indication comes up and to resolve it? stelios

Hi PMDG, not a huge issue in the scheme of things, but I just wanted to ask if you guys could re-jig the ops centre to allow for differing sizes of fonts, etc. I keep getting the following message each time I open up (& download any updates) on the ops centre: "Your system is currently set for a nonstandard DPI. PMDG Ops Center does not currently support high-DPI scaling". Thanks for your attention. Rgds, Steve

Changing the radios doesn't seem to stop the pilot response warning. Is that by design?

I will compressed VC textures to half its original size. It saves 150-200MB of memory, helps me avoid OOM. Can I share it?
