PMDG 777

Firstly I have submitted a support ticket but as it is the weekend I am unsure if I will receive a reply. Hi all, I am disconecting the A/P and the A/T at about 1500 ft from runway but I hear this A/P disconection noise which I can not stop. What is the problem? In the tutorial the landing is an autoland but I want to handfly her during finals. Thanks, Christos

Hi. When i set the short turn the clock starts to countdown right away. I then set the amount of fuel that i need for the flight but the fuel never loads. The time req for load stays at 0:00.All other services is working so i must have forgot a step?

Hey Guys! Does anyone have any difficulty disconnecting the autopilot with just the joystick mapped with the "z" command? Everytime I've tried to use the button mapped to the autopilots disconnect, I see the button action on the MCP being pressed but the autopilot does NOT disconnect. The only way I can succesfuly disconnect it is by clicking the yoke autopilot disconnect using the mouse, or by right clicking the screw on the MCP. Other than the issues reported and this one, I've had no other issues with this airplane. PMDG, you guys have totally impressed me again! Keep up the awesome work! See Yah! Ray Lemus

Hey guys, I am having a strange issue. I can't seem to import an Flight sim Commander 9 generated plan to the 777 departing from EHAM. I originally wanted to take the LRF from EHAM to RJTT, but I get 'INVALID ENTRY' and an error message of 'Destination airport not found in selected .rte file : Import Aborted' I tried flightplans to other destinations, all have the same error. The flight plans are accepted fine in 747v1, MD-11, and NGX. I then moved the 777 to EIDW, created a EIDW-RJTT plan in FSC9. The EIDW RJTT plan imported fine. The plans show up in the Route Request too. Flightplans going to EHAM were fine as were all previous FSC9 generated plans. Just…

I just found a small problem. The airplane is operating well. Just a few minutes ago I was looking at the settings page and I saw "License" on a LSK. So I selected it. I saw a amber color " not registered ", so I clicked the LSK and the sim froze. I logged off and tried it again and it did the same thing. I don't know what that means but the plane works fine if you do not try to register it. Does anyone know why that's there? regards Doug Morlan

Hi There I am very unhappy to find out there is no 2D cockpit included with this product like with the 737NGX and 747X As i would expect with PMDG the product in general is amazing however for me it is unplayable as i fly all my aircraft with the 2D cockpit. When i use the virtual cockpit i cannot see all the buttons etc clearly and could be pressing anything! Therefore at the moment this is £60/$90 wasted! I hope that a 2D cockpit will be available by the next update otherwise i don't know what to do! Does anyone else feel this way? Thanks Nath

Hi, PMDG team, Congrats on your release of the T7. Wanted to ask before I buy this bird, can one select between the tan or grey cockpit surrounds? I dislike my 747-400 cockpit because of the tan cockpit. I know in RL there is also a grey cockpit like the 737NG; I was on the flight deck of one about a year ago with the grey. The attached pic is from Boeing and not my work. As you can see, it appears very grey and not the lighter "sand beige", although that seems more common in the 777 fleet. The pic is more representative of the one I was on about a year ago. Please advise. Best, Kev Kattz out.

Ok when I look out the window from the cockpit with trackir I can't see the wings, then I thought I wonder if in the real T7 if the pilots can see them, maybe they are too far back? or the way the windows are positioned it does not allow them to be easily seen? Any feed back on this, I'm curious.

I wrote a small C++ program to export simulation variables to XML, which I then read from an external machine using XSplit and an AVermedia Live Gamer Portable to display on the lower third banner. Approaching one of the last few waypoints in my route, I go to plug in the star and runway, and after executing, it dumps all my previous waypoints and the star is the new entire route. Is this supposed to happen?

I am certain I have opened a can of worms...take your shots at me. Curious here. I own LevelD 767 and love flying it. What does $90US get me that I do not have in the 767? if it is just sharper visuals, brakes that turn red and other eye candy differences I will keep my wallet closed. I realize the 767 is old and that PMDG is by far the most revered add on developer in the world. I should say I do own the J41 and enjoy it greatly. Dave

Hey guys, i read in the forums that there's a fix for the unrealistic behavior that makes landings shorter and takeoffs longer. i applied the tweaks without backing up the original one (stupid me!) and now i am eating myself from the inside that it will affects in a very bad way with the T7. is it good? is it bad? how can i get the original file back without reinstalling fsx completely? can someone upload it for me? i'm so nervous right now): please please please help!!

Opus' latest beta will now automatically create the wind data file for the FMC. All you have to do is put your route in the weather setup box. No messing around with importing/exporting your route in different format! :lol:

Ive been flying this beauty and grace all week and have been really enjoying it. But one thing stands out above all and I dont think it can be stressed enough. Before I say anything further, there is simmers of all levels, and it is you alone and only you to decide what level and skills you want to incorporate. This aircraft is riddled with automation dependency. Im amazed at the extremely reduced workload to the pilot. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, as this makes more time for things like situational awareness. But seriously, this aircraft all but flies on its own. Hi For me everytime I set the FSX hours, weather, map, menu during the flight there are some big bugs with black screen or I see the planes 10 times or there are some cuts in the cockpit. And I have to press 20 times alt+enter to recover the standard image with no bugs! Is there any solution? I tried to desinstall EZdok but it's the same! Christopher M

Has anyone else had this issue - on a flight from KLAX to OMDB and just turning onto runway for departure when suddenly all the input to any control is lost. By that I mean that all mouse input to any button or switch is no longer available. Very frustrating as had to completely abort the flight! Any thoughts appreciated... I am using Track IR and have Logitech G940 Rudders, throttle and stick. Also finding trimming pretty impossible! Otherwise love it with frame rates above 30fps using FlyTampa Dubai!!! Hi, From using the tutorial and inputting the SEL Temp in the Thrust Limit section it set's the correct De-rated take off for T7. Where or how do I get the SEL Temp if I'm doing a normal flight in T7? Would it be from using PFPX? I'd appreciate anyone's help so I know for the future and can use this for 744 flights aswell? I couldn't see anything in the manuals unless I've not looked in right section Kind Regards Jason

Dear All, did any of you experience, that when disengaging the A/P it is not possible to mute the masterwarning beep sound? I can push the red blinking master warning button, but only the red alert disappears, the beep does not stop. Ít is very annoying, that I need to hear the very noisy beep-beep during the whole approach. thank you in advance for your help. Peter
