Hello, how I can get some textures for better performance and faster reloading? When I switch from the outside to VC it takes sometimes more than 4 seconds to reload all textures. Everything works fine to me also the FPS (>20 FPS) My PC: - Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40 GHz - 8 GB RAM - Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 1024 MB - Win7 64-Bit

The subject line might be worded poorly. I simply meant that on the 737, the aircraft would follow the speeds set into the FMC on approach. Now, in the 777, it puts in that purely "placeholder" speed of 170 knots over the threshold, and requires the pilot to intervene via the MCP to set speeds as the plane slows for landing. The old system seemed much more automated; this seems kind of a step backward. I'm sure PMDG modeled it perfectly, but does anyone know why Boeing chose to do it that way? Joe Legander

The picture in the attachment explain it more.. Tried everything from re installing the airplane to rebuilding the shaders etc.. Couldn't find something that would help! Also this is noted in DX9 and 10. ** In case it's not very visible in the picture.. the light would look like it's been dotted instead of being smooth in the surface of the wing. Thanks

I am sure some of you have found them but I could not help notice that nobody seems to have mentioned them. Normally someone shouts it right away  I won't say way where they are as it always seems sort of fun to find them yourself. As always guys you have done a superb job with this one yet again. Regards P.S. Sorry about the repeat post....Avsim seems busy.

Hello all, Just today I was flying ATL to LAX and tried to contact ATC on VATSIM via multiple times. Finally I contacted the controller via Private Message and got a reply saying that they did not receive anything. I double checked all the frequencies and they were correct. Anyone know the solution? Maybe I will try one more flight some time tonight. Thanks Jett

Hello guys, I just completed my flight and don't know if it's an issue or not. I started my descent from FL360 by pushing the altitude intervention knob. I was still some miles away from T/D. So I was descending with approx. 1200fpm until I intercepted the glidepath. Then I was descending with 2500fpm, but the problem was that the A/T didn't go to IDLE. The engines were running at ~70% N1 and the airplane got faster and faster. I manually pushed the speed intervention knob and the engine's N1 decreased to IDLE and then HOLD (which should be normal). I thought that the engines also should decrease to IDLE when VNAV glidepath is intercepted without speed intervent…

Hello all, I''m one of the interest fliers of the 777, so I bought it...but there are to much problems occuring with the pmdg 777 its impossible to fly it at the moment! It effect also problems to FSX. I can give several problems what I experience: - Master auto pilot warning system is blingin if I turned it off (Yes I know this I read this same problem in other problem pages in 777) - Right click on screen will occure a table whithout tekst in it... - Switching from view to view will occure a black white grey view in the cockpit and slowly becomes the realy view. - Auto pilot turns itself off - FSX crash and Fatal error - outside view or …

Hi all, The amount of questions im reading on the forum about simple things covered in the tutorial and manuals provided is crazy. PMDG put lots of effort in to the manuals provided with there products and some are not reading them. Instead of asking a question thats already been asked give the manual a read or search the forum. And dont get me started with double posts! EDIT: After I posted this I waited about 20 seconds for it to show as posted, be patient, dont click it more times than youve thought about the 777! Greg

When you create a flight plan with FSBuild in the 737 when I press the CO ROUTE on the FMC it brings up all the flight plans created with FSBuild. In the 3T I can;t do that despite the fact that in the FSBuild I have selected the PMDG 777 for the plans to be exported. I can only put them manually in the CO ROUTE. Is that the case? or I am doing something wrong.. stelios

Hi, It seems there is no way to assign a key to this button on the MCP? I can assign one for VS/FPA but not IAS/Mach. Would be very useful when hand flying to be able to switch this. quickly via the keyboard. Very useful to bug speeds and altitudes via the keyboard. Best regards, Robin.

So I noticed yesterday when I was setting up an Emirates flight that I was able to derate the aircraft, something I wasn't able to do previous flights and sure enough I confirmed it by looking at the UAE livery in the operations center which I then noticed some other configurations were wrong. I uninstalled then reinstalled the livery but that didn't work and I also installed the Delta livery and it to has the wrong configurations. -Rowan

... Is awesome! Currently heading to Boston in the wonderful 777. Its 00:26 local time in Denmark and I had a long day. So something happened that should never happen - I fell asleep to the wonderful sound of the engines as I suddendly was scared to hell by the Master Warning screaming at me. The Pilot Response system works! I might just save the flight and continue to Boston sometime in the weekend, would be way to dangerous to let me land in Boston now xD Cheers!

Hi all, I was looking through the failures list in the FMC for the 777 the other day and a thought struck me. Weird I know! If failures are set at "Random/on" does that mean that the failures will only occur if I abuse the plane or a part/system wears out or does that mean the part/system will fail after a given random period of time. Just a thought! Great plane by the way, truly amazing but still not going to replace all my MD11's in the hanger, there is just something about that plane!

Hello, I've read the intro and the pinned thread, so don't burn me yet (haha). My issue is if I disconnect my joystick at the beginning of cruise (for safety and whatnot, my laptop occasionally moves around during cruise), and then reconnect my joystick on descent, the autothrottle doesn't work, and goes off the position of my throttle slide. I have to cycle the autothrottle arm switches to get it to work again. This only happens during descent, if I connect it prior to decent, no issues. Now someone might go and say just remember to connect prior to descent, but I have an issue where my joystick occasionally disconnects from my computer, probably a cord i…
