PMDG 777

Hello 777-pilots out there, I've been flying for some hours in this beautiful bird now and it really is a masterpiece. Thanks to PMDG and to all the people involved in this great development! Still I have a question after noticing an issue: I loaded the "long" panel state to avoid the master caution light coming up. I was connected to ground power (both devices) and turned ADIRU on. I use to set alignment time to "real" by the way. I used the CDU to set IRS position by using the GPS coordinates on the second page. Can anyone recommend any good scenery for Boeing field or any other Boeing site in the USA for my delivery flight of this great plane been looking around but can't really find any. Hello, first of all i like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the whole PMDG Team for this insane Aircraft. But i have a problem. I woul like to use the Time Compression together with FS Global Real Weather Engine. But when i make a right click on the CHR Button the the Compression enabled for approximately 5 seconds. (2x,4x,8x,4x,2x,normal). I guess it happened due to weather changes, so is there any chance to increase the tolerance for weather changes? Or did i make something wrong? So I'm burning through a lot of JetA at the moment cruising along at FL380 from ORD-LAX. Everything is running fine except I have a Caution indication on that I can't find the culprit of. There are no abnormal lights on the Overhead - everything is in Auto. I ran through all the EICAS pages and nothing is indicating abnormal. No FMC messages. Nothing is coming up on the Recall. I couldn't find any reference in the QRH to address an abnormal Caution light. Left and Right Clicking the Caution/Warning Button will push the button but the Caution indication stays on. Here is a picture to showcase the issue. Any thoughts?

I have noticed that when engine start sequence is done EGT=389. Then after aprox. 30 seconds EGT suddenly changing to 451 and remains at this level. Is it correct ? Any comments about that ?

Hi all, I have a 24-inch monitor, resolution 1920x1200, using EZDOK. FSX.cfg WideAspectView or whatever it's called, is set to true. However I kinda have a hard time setting up my views so that all instruments are correctly readable. If I continue the way I fly now, I'm afraid I'll need glasses in about a year or so. May I ask you lads who have approximately the same config as mentioned above, what zoom factor are you using in EZDOK ? Mine actually is set at 0.4 but I think it's too small. Also, I'm not sure how to adjust the zoom level with EZDOK. I've read is is middle mouse button, is this correct ? Not at my game-pc right now so can't check... Thanks f…

Hi, I've done a few flights now with the 777 and its a wonderful plane, but i notice when flying using fsairlines tracker client that once i take off i get a "landing lights penalty under 1000ft". the strange thing is when i toggle the light switches on the ground before i take off, the FSA client does recognise that the light are on or off, which led me to believe that all is well before i take off. now fsairlines client does have a manual override for landing lights, which i will use from now on when flying the 777, but im just wondering if anyone else that uses fsairlines and the 777 together, came across this problem also? regards Eric.

This EFIS control via FMC is real feature of 777? or just for FMC nerd? Many controls via FMC is good feature of PMDG. BUT This is excessive. EFIS contol via FMC lol. Am I FMC nerd? (This is not real 777 feature right? ) So..... Am I right?

Dear simmers, I can perfectly see the exterior model when in outside view, but switching to cockpit view, looking and moving from the inside in order to see the wings and the rest of the fuselage shows only the shadow of the aircraft on the ground and a floating cockpit! I can't even see the reflection of the strobes on the ground from the inside, unlike the NGX where everything works perfectly. Is anyone else having the same problem? How can I fix this? Thanks! The external engine sound is great. It's 3D positioning sound. At front of engine, the sound is loud and at after of engine, the sound is small. But there is a problem. I don't know why. When I use Fly-by camera (default camera of FSX), The external engine soud is 100% loud. I mean too loud. The 777 is flying far away from camera, but the sound is weird. very very loud....
