PMDG 777

While on the ground after landing, taxi, parking, and opening the cargo bays, I noticed that the Main Cargo Bays do not illuminate (in the bay itself). There is door frame lighting for both bays. As a GSX user, this is sort of a bummer as one is not able to see the cargo or cargo vehicles - it's all just black. Other aircrash (lol), the cargo bay lighting illuminates the equipment and you can see what is taking place even on the darkest of nights. With the 777x, it's just pure black. I'm not sure this is actually a "problem" or by design, and while I don't know how the bays are lighted in real life, but assume there is some lighting for workers to see what they'r…

Hey guys! I've bought the Pmdg 777 and it's really great, but i have one problem. When I'm in the virtual cockpit and i'm looking at the overhead panel, the textures are blurred. When I zoom in, they become sharp. I'm running fsx as an administrator, the graphics are all on high and I've tried "Nvidia Inspector", but all of these points didn't work :( . (Sorry for my poor English.) In the NGX, it's easy and fast for controling BARO and minimums of EFIS using mouse wheel. But 777 is hard. Mouse wheel doesn't work. And mouse Right/Left button click response is slow. The keycommand is also hard to use. There are "FAST RATE" keycommand. So If you want fast increase or decrease BARO, you must hold down two keys at same time.. LOL Using only one key increases or decreases numbers very slowly.. I don't know why PMDG make this. It's very not comfy. I want just mouse wheel or fast response of key command..like NGX.

Hi. Thank you for a wonderful product! But i have a problem when flying in Vatsim. If you set the frequency to VHF L, it is set only visually, but the switching frequency does not occur, the FSINN also shows that the frequency is not changed. But when the frequency setting on VHF R, it is switching correctly, which is confirmed by the FSINN.

Does anyone know how to adjust the number of PAX and PAX weight? John

The other thread is getting somewhat hard to follow and keep track up. This is just a simple poll to see what you guys believe you're averaging to feed my curiosity. Personally, I'm on the edge of 20-23 in flight.

Hi all, Encountered a strange problem with the use of Radar Contact in combination with the T7. During my maiden and now my second flight the radios won't tune automatically to the new frequency, eventhough the option 'Tune on contact' in RC is checked. In all the years I've been using RC this never happened before with any other aircraft including the NGX. The strange thing is that it seems to be happening randomely but often enough. Some times it will tune after complying with ATC but more often it won't. My question is if anyone else is seeing this and if it can be related to this magnificant aircraft? Much obliged. Quick question, is there a 2D panel on this plane. When I open it on FSX I get a view of the ground with no plane innards as would be normal. When I press "A" I get the start of VC, so is VC the only means of flying? Ben Metcalfe

Strange... I've installed two liveries -- United (merger) and Delta In both cases when I go through cold and dark start-up procedures and engage throttles to taxi. At that point I either get no power/thrust in both engines OR no power/thrust in one of the two engines. BUT... the throttles move forward and the throttle indicators on my center display unit show the power being requested by the throttles. (attached pic showing one Engine 2 with power, Engine 1 without). Which engine works is random. Please keep in mind the following when responding... Can't seem to get the cargo working, I have opened all doors, and GSX is still telling me I need to open them. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi While I was rolling my aircraft to take off, I realized that my aircraft only gives V1 callout. There was no rotate or V2 callouts. Even my Ops Manager only has V1 enable option. Is that the way how its done in Real Boeing 777 ?

Hello, I really like the the Auto time acceleration which can help in the long flights. I just have some comments on it: # Is it possible to limit it only to cruise phase? I have noticed that sometimes is enabled during the 'descent' phase and the 'approach' phase which a bit not convenient if I need to reduce the speed. Thanks

Is there any rule or licence agreement or whatever, which allows/does not allow a fellow simmer and myself sharing the cost of this beautiful bird? When reaching climb thrust (in my case N1 92.4) I have to pitch DOWN 5.5 degrees and it barely reaches 210 knots. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Hi, i'm not able to do an ILS landing (Munic EDDM ILS08R) with this aircraft. I put in the frequency and the direction (110.90/082) into the NAV RAD page, but i'm not able to push the LOC and the APP button. Nothing happens. What is wrong? regards Bernhard Statter

Hi there, I do not get any menu bar at the left once I select 777 as Aircraft. I have already updated the OC and did a restart - still nothing happens. Anybody got an idea? I used the search function but did not find a manswer that helps me out. Regards

the speedtape is showing at .827 but there is still the yellow speed warning line showing. Hi folks, I have a question: Is the PMDG 777 flyable with the keyboards (num4, num6, num8, num2, num0 and enter) or is it necessary to have a joystick? Hello First I want to thank PMDG for amazing product, but I have a couple of problems that just might be my mistakes. First is that whenever I'm beginning to descend after some time Auto Throttle just stops working, as I move my throttle thurst moves with it but AT seems to be engaged and after some time it fixes it self. Second one is that when I disconnect AP on final nose either goes down or up I don't know how to fix it should I trim it correctly? where should I get those values? Thanks

I read that the 777 manuals are not able to be printed. Also DRAFT is written on all the pages. Is this a long term deal or just for the moment? I really hope that the manuals will be printable in the future (near). This really is the only thing stopping me from purchasing.

I can not use main cockpit to fly 777 only virtual cockpit, also I have a problem downloading liveries and last thing is can any one do Iraqi airways in new colours and PIA CARGO please.
