PMDG 777

Hi all, I have a 24-inch monitor, resolution 1920x1200, using EZDOK. FSX.cfg WideAspectView or whatever it's called, is set to true. However I kinda have a hard time setting up my views so that all instruments are correctly readable. If I continue the way I fly now, I'm afraid I'll need glasses in about a year or so. May I ask you lads who have approximately the same config as mentioned above, what zoom factor are you using in EZDOK ? Mine actually is set at 0.4 but I think it's too small. Also, I'm not sure how to adjust the zoom level with EZDOK. I've read is is middle mouse button, is this correct ? Not at my game-pc right now so can't check... Thanks f…

Hey guys, Is there a way to change the fuel to Jet A1 or B? I know its possible in both 747v1 and MD-11. With the higher step climbs and colder temps I wouldn't mind having A1 on board. Cheers TJ

Hi just test flew the PMDG777, Great job! Well Done very very authentic ! Just want to ask whether it would be possible to modify the Electronic Checklist some how to resemble more closely what I use at work. Regards, Pete

There is a rogue airport, stuck on the display of the first officers nd. EDAC as I take off from EDDP I can see it. When I press ARPT it still shows up when all the others turn off. This is a saved panel state first from the short turn then a reconfigured panel state I made from that.

Hello guys, I'm having a little issue, not big deal, but maybe it is something on my side. When using the Electronics Checklist the windows mouse pointer is flickering when I move it inside the display. If I don't move it stays invisible. I tried changing the windows pointers to a basic configuration but it didn't worked. Maybe someone have a solution. Thanks! Currently in a KATL-LFPG flight!! This beauty is impressive.

I was crusing at FL360 and i on my time compression and walk away from my PC. After like 30mins i return i was back on the spawn point sitting on the gates. What happen!

I just love how the "B" key now sets the Altimeter for both the Captain and FO to the destination Altimeter. I know this is in the into document but in case you missed it, great feature. If you have other jems please post as I am sure not everyone has digested every nuance of the intro document.

Hi Guys, I have read the manuals and didn't see anything on this problem. In mid flight for no apparent reason the FMC with disengage and the MFD on the Captain side will go blank. In the scratch pad I get " program pin error" and I am unable to finish the flight properly using the flight route with the FMC. Can some one help? P.S. I have a 8core/ WOS7 64bit system with plenty memory

So I did a fly today but I had a problem with ATC. I did a cold dark start and I think I missed something with the radios. I couldn't contact to the ATC so I didn't care at first but then while I was near to landing, FMC said ILS/freq error so its clear that its my problem. Can someone tell me what did I do wrong?

Hello PMDG, First let me tell you how much I love your new creation, it's amazing! However, just on a first flight into LFPG today, I encountered a famous FSX problem that I have NEVER had before. Just when I was coming in to land I heard this Windows caution sound on the background. Just when I landed it kept sounding every few seconds. So this is what an OOM is. Now, when I installed the 777, no changes in FSX had been made. With the NGX or MD-11, or any aircraft for that matter, I have never experienced this before. And my settings are not even THAT high! I am running maxed out scenery, with water at HIGH 2X, and ground shadows disabled. Also, ALL AI traffic is DISA…

Hi all, First, I have to say : WOOW, what a plane, what a work, and those who complains about the price, please stay with default fsx aircrafts and let adults use complicated toys, you can't appreciate this bird as you should :-) After hours of reading, I think I maybe found a little bug. After doing a copy-paste of weather datas from Active Sky, saved the .txt file in /PMDG/WX folder, it doesn't work to import weather data values... Maybe some manipulation to fix this ??? Hello folks, unfortunately after 9/11 it is normaly not possible to visit the front office of a 777 inflight and make an own experience of the noisyness of a flight deck in cruise. But maybe some of you have some flight deck experience and could tell us how loud such a flight deck is? Is there anything that you can compare to it? I think that it can not be too loud because i see many videos where pilots are without headset in cruise, unlike in the 737 or 747, where noice cancelling headsets are often worn through the whole flight. Just want to set up my speaker volume to match the real thing.
