Hello all new 777 Captains! Here's what I noticed when I set the either the Altimeter or Minimums. The big knobs that switch between "RADIO & BARO" and "IN & HPA" not a problem you right click or left click and it switches just fine. However, when I use the small knob on top to put in the Altimeter setting or set the Minimums. The knobs don't move at all when you scroll the mouse wheel. You have to right or left click like you do on the big knobs they sit on, and you only get 1 digit change at a time with each click which takes a long time. Hello, The MINS and BARO rotating knobs are not working with the mouse wheel in my FSX. To modify the QNH or minimums you have to press the knob in a direction and than it takes a lot of time to change it. I'm the only one who is experiencing this issue? Best regards, Marco

Hi I finally did my first flight with PMDG 777 yesterday with pfpx. I wasn't able to complete the flight because my fsx died on me - not PMDG's fault. Its my computer reminding me for some cleaning to do or don't bother simming lol. However, the experience was amazing. Even now I am getting ideas to try out while I am typing this as I experienced some interesting behaviour from the aircraft. Please remember I haven't flown PMDG 737 before and for 777 I have flown posky v2 merged with pss ones mostly. I don't mean to bog the plane down. If I buy the 777 (and I will eventually, just waiting for bugs to be sorted out first) I understand that I have to install it with my antivirus turned off and install as admininistrator, correct? Do I also have to turn off UAC, and again, why? I mean, turning off antivirus and UAC will make the computer vunerable for "intruders" or can I turn it back on as soon as the T7 is installed? And do FSX need to be run as admin each time I start it nomatter which aircraft I use?

After setting my approach VREF and flap setting in the FMC, for some reason on approach the aircraft is warning me that my airspeed is too low when the speed is well above my VREF speed. For example, my VREF is 140 with flaps full, at 155 I will get an "airspeed low " indicator, and at about 145 I will get the stick shaker stall warning. Also on almost all my flares I get the stall warning. I hope I explained this correctly. Anyways thank you. - Max Ortiz P.S. I love the 777, nice job!!!!!

By default PDF and ND FPS limiters ate blank. Should I change that to 15 (like in introduction manual screenshot), or I should leave it to blank (as that's recommended in introduction manual?)

Hi, I think my 777 is having problem described by RSRandazzo. Sometimes mouse cursor is hanging for a short while, but the worst situation is when using 2D panels. Then cursor is hanging almost constantly, so 2D panels are hard to use even. Apart of that everything is ok, have solid 30fps

Thank you for your patience with the many complaints (and trolling) and keeping your attention to detail in ensuring such an extreme product quality! Hey guys, I don't have this problem with the NGX but the throttle goes jumping up and down in the 777 without us inputing any throttle, etc. I just start the engines and the throttles move up and down. Tried enabling Exclude throttle in FSUIPC with no luck. Any of you have had this problem? I am using CH Throttle for management. Thanks in advance! Teo

Hi. Firstly! OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!! Am new to FSX. Am using a logitech joystick with twist for rudder/nose gear usage. Many models I fly, when twisting the joystick when stationery, the rudder moves, then when taxing it locks and the nose gear only moves, then after a certain speed on the take off roll the twist action only moves the rudder as the nose gear movement is restricted. Am assuming the 777 model can do the above and am guessing I need to change some controller settings? Can anybody kindly assist with the setting? Kind regards Matt Martin

Hello, I can't install the 777 because the installer tells me "unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to install." I fixed the registry entry (both using tools and thereafter manually), reinstalled FSX, opening the installer in admin-mode. Since the 777 doesn't work with Prepar3d (without any notice on the product page!) and I had to "downgrade" to FSX to use the bird, I'm getting quiet annoyed that it still doesn't work. Any ideas? Hello folks, just want to wish everyone some happy flying with this new machine and I'd like to share these nice screenies I took on the approach into OMDB while doing the tutorial flight. Also a BIG thank you to the PMDG team for this very nice piece of software, I already was in awe with the NGX but this is like a whole new flight sim experience. This aircraft is awesome! Hey guys I read in the tutorial that the engine out diversion speed is 420, however I read in an airline manual that they use 453 for etops, my question which do I us for pfpx planning? Are we allowed to come up with our own diversion speeds or are the speeds already determine by Boeing or the regulators?
