PMDG 777

Fist want to say what a grat product!! Very nice to fly with! But have a question.. On my flight during the appoache there was no caculations on speed. One fix on the app path i give speed restriction of160. A point before that one the speed stays automatically on 240, which a bit high too reduce in 4nm to 160kt. And also the app ref speed that shows on legs page was 170kt. But on the app reference page i set 25/136. Maybe this are real world behaviors or i did something wrong. Note: this flight was completely setup. Evey weight and data was filled.

By default PDF and ND FPS limiters ate blank. Should I change that to 15 (like in introduction manual screenshot), or I should leave it to blank (as that's recommended in introduction manual?)

Hello Fellow Simmers, I bought the new 777 and I love the PMDG operations center but under the 777 I don't have a display section where I can change the view option to normal screen to wide screen view any ideas?

Did anyone try export and import FS Build plans into the T7 yet? Any issues?

It would be nice in a future update to implement key mapping to activate external power. This because if i start in cold and dark situation i have to start APU to access into ground connections options. Thank you

Hi Everyone, I just installed the 777 package with the Ops Ctr. I started FSX upon install and went through the notifications process to have the 777 installed and initiated, and it all went fine- the aircraft loaded coolly. Then I shut it down, and went to look into the Ops Ctr. Upon initially starting the Ops Ctr I had the issue of not being able to d/l the liveries. A little while later the program updated to the fix for the issue. So now I see the liveries, but when I click on "Download" nothing happens. I get alerted to "1 New Notification" in red that comes up pointing to the Settings tab, and upon getting there there are no notifications. Some guidance here…

Hey folks, I have a question regarding the TRK Up Funtion for the ND. I've set my panel to a startup state which real world pilots would probably see when they board the aircraft (Battery on, GRD Power connected etc.). But when I look at my ND there is "TRK" still on top of it, although Ive slected TRK up to false in the PMDG Setup (ADIRU switch is in the OFF position). Will the indication change as soon as I start ADIRU alignment or am I experiencing a bug? (My question may sound stupid but right now I dont have the time to test it with my own Computer). I have been getting a rather annoying problem with the T7 lately. With every flight the caution light on the glare-shield won't extinguish. Yes, I tried pushing it, It's the first thing I do. No matter how much I punch the caution/warning button, the yellow caution light will not go away. I have checked any possible reason, Recall button, overhead panel config, anything that could cause the caution light, but I cant get it to turn off. This only happens when something triggers the caution such as an overspeed due to Opus's wind shifts, or when I flick on the fuel control when starting the second engine. Hi, I have started following the tutorial of the 777 and are now having a fuel issue with it. At the top of climb i had still expected 7200kg of fuel at OMDB, but not even halfway of the flight this dropped to only 500kg expected. I added 7000kg of fuel (should not be done, but I want to complete the flight), and it was briefly on expected 7000kg at destination, but now a few minutes later it is again 5000kg. Things that I have checked: - Flaps up - Gear up - Speedbrake not armed - N1 setting and temperature set correctly - No fuel dump active - Static weather theme without winds enabled Anyone has a clue what can cause this issue? Just a quick one is there any good scenery for boeing field or any boeing plant in the usa to do a good delivery flight from. Got to say got it on ground and just looking at it its stunning never seen anything like it well done pmdg on a great product look forward to many a challenging flights in the 777. Rob Lambert

Can anyone give me an idea how much memory FSX is using with the 777 loaded? PMDG minimum requirements state that the 777 might run on a 32 bit OS but it isn't supported. So basically 32 bit users buy at their own risk. I'm trying to get an idea of what memory usage actually is to see whether it might be worth a shot running it under XP-32. Migrating to Win 7 64 bit from XP would be a major headache, apart from the additional cost of the new OS. Given PMDG's refund policy (or lack of one) I don't want to buy the 777 and then find it won't load on my system. If anyone has managed to get the 777 running using 32 bit windows I'd be interested to hear how well it runs. …
