PMDG 777

Pretty much what it says in the the topic title! Although, I got into PMDG products after the time of the NGX release, it was great to listen to the old FSBreak podcasts recorded prior to and after the release of the NGX, just to hear (rather than read) the excitement across the community. It would have been great to have been able to share the excitement surrounding PMDG's latest release through the medium of the podcast! Those guys did a great job! I have been going through the docs and unless I am missing it, there doesn't appear to be a preflight procedure that gets you from a cold and dark cockpit. All that I have read seems to assume that electrical power up has already been done. I was hoping the Tutorial #1 was going to walk me through it, but it starts with the a/c fired up. This is probably my inexperience showing here, but if somebody could enlighten me on this subject I would be grateful. Thanks,

So I bought the PMDG 777, and everything has installed fine, except I've only got 2 out of 6 of the documents. Introduction Tutorial #1 Flight Crew Training Manual Flight Crew Operations Manual Volume 1 Flight Crew Operations Manual Volume 2 Quick Reference Handbook I submitted a ticket to support, but they're understandably busy and I have not yet recieved a response. Anyone else had this issue, or know where I can download the remaining PDF's? Thanks Josh Bullen

Is anyone experiencing any texture load issues when switching from VC to the spot view? Half of the T7 is being totally black for me for a good 2-3 seconds before textures fully load. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Jacek G.

Does anyone have good scenery for Boeing field so we can somewhere good to do our delivery flights from or any Boeing site in America. Got to say pmdg have done a great job in this looking really good. Rob lambert

Hi there, Loving the new 777-200LR. Incredible simulation. I'm having an issue with the external lighting and flight deck lighting. On the external view, they just aren't there. Same thing with my NGX. They are however working on default aircraft. Inside the flight deck, I can get Left and Right seat flood lights to go down, but the MCP lighting doesn't seem to do anything when I dial it down, same thing with center pedestal lighting, I turn the knob, but nothing happens. Hi all, sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but is there a shared cockpit feature on the 777?

I have a desktop as my main machine and a laptop which I use when I go out of town. Can I install the 777 on both so I can play when I'm not at home or will I have to purchase different copies for each computer? Thanks Pierre Walker

Hi Guys, Anybody know how to quiet this alarm? did my first flight yesterday and it went off when i disengaged the autopilot and i couldnt find where to make it shut up!! The only way it went quiet is if i engaged the AP again Thanks for the help

Hi, Great addon, love the looks, the feel and the sound after one take off and landing around EHAM. Good Fr's but i have the problem that every 30 seconds i have a long stutter lasting 6-8 seconds. i had the same in the NGX and that was the reason i did not use that a/c. the MD11, B744 and J41 works just fine on my high end system. Does anyone has any idea what might cause this long stutter? Kind regards, Ben van Boom

Hi, I tried to adjust the display contrast and brightness, like in the NGX, but it does not seem to work the same...??? I can't reduce the brightness at all... no change if I turn the knobs... any advice? regards

Hey I notice a bug after i takeoff. My instruments my MFD and PFD go hay wire and i need to use back up instruments to complete my flight. Heres a picture: Uploaded with ImageShack.us This seems to me like a major bug that needs to be fixed ASAP! Other than that i am loving the T7

I know Pmdg is the best, and surely this is his best product, but not able to enjoy it after spent 90 euros. the activation doesn,t connect with the server and is very frustrating...no answer from ticket support. thank you.

Just drooling at the 777 page on the website about to download when I spotted it said you must have a minimum 1GB VRAM! Unfortunately my mediocre card has only 512mb. Will it still run?!?! Thanks Joe Morgan

This is a problem that a friend of mine, (he's french and he can't speak well english).. Anyways, he had Activation key bugs when he was trying to activate it and now it tells him that he has exceeded the activation max. or something like that, can anyone help ?

This isn't really a complaint, as I'm sure it's intentionally done - but should the T7 displays be quite a bit more noticeably blurry and 'bland' (colour wise) than the NGX. I only ask because I see a bigger difference between the colours in the VC on the display compared to the 2D popout (colour vibrancy wise) than the difference between the VC displays and 2D popouts on the NGX. Same goes for the caution/warning lights, which on my end are borderline unreadable.

I have ezdok but can't figure out how to float around, any ideas please?? Regards Paul EGCC
