PMDG 777

Hi, Love the sim so far. Just got in from work and purchased and took her up for a quick flight. I pressed the TERR button then on the lower display control panel pressed the NAV button and got a FSX fatal error. Can't reproduce yet so hopefully its a one off... Hi Guys! Is it normal to have these weird "reflections" in the VC??

I was doing the tutorial flight in this fantastic new plane, and once I got to cruise altitude, I went out to go to McDonald's. (fyi...Big Mac, Fries, Medium Coke) When I came back, the A/P and both A/T's were still engaged and the plane was still using full vertical and lateral autoflight, but the Warning/Caution lights were lit up. I looked at my EICAS and it read "Pilot Response" in both yellow and red. I disengaged and re-engaged the autopilot, it cleared the caution and warning. Then, about 15 minutes later it popped up again. So I did the disengage/re-engage, and it cleared the caution again. Can anyone explain what is doing this?

So, post install of the 777, I've lost a font which has screwed up these numbers on my NGX and the MJC Q400. Anyone else seeing this? It was fine pre-777 install....

Hello all, enjoying the 777 since 18 hours . however, i started to face a small issue this evening. After doing the necessary stuff to prepare for my flight (when everything went well). while taxiing suddenly the vc buttons became unclickable, nothing can be clicked, however the aircraft was responding to the controls as normal, i can click the 2d mcp and fmc, fs is running as it should, i changed the aircraft and it worked. however the 777 was not clickable, please help. thanks a lot.

Just checking to see if all the "kinks " have been iron out yet. Anyone having download problems that has not been taken care of? ...should I click download or wait a little longer? Thoughts?

When i start the instalation of the 777 i get the message unable to find fsx.exe unable to install. Help please. Rudy De Mol

Thanks for the T7. I looks great! I have a question concerning the PFD, MFD, & EICAS popup displays. I was able to click on the PFD, MFD and EICAS displays to view the zoomed in displays. However, unlike NGX was I unable to move the zoom displays to other locations around the cockpit. The were fixed in the position where the zoom display opened. Is this correct? I read the manual (pages 0.00.47 to 0.00.59) concerning the popup zoom displays. It does not mention anything about being able to move the popups around to other spots on the screen. I am able to move the FMS and the Radios popup panels around the screen, just not the PFD, MFD, & EICAS popup …

Anyone notice that if they access RAAS from the alt menu they get a black screen? The only way out for me, is to hit ctrl-alt-del and then very quickly close it down before the black screen returns.

Hi I have a question about the preconfigured cockpit states available in PMDG 777. I see three main states: 1. Cold and Dark 2. There is a state with Short label. 3. There is a state with Long label. What is the difference between 2 and 3 ? Secondly, in the tutorial available, the cockpit state that it starts with is in cold and dark, and we use Battery then APU to get some electrical power. I was wondering instead of APU, how can we provide External Power. From cold and dark state, my fmc is powered off so i can't request for ground connection. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, i 've just installed the T7. Afterwards I tried to download some liveries by using the OC, but it didn't work. I double clicked the download button next to the chosen livery, an info about a new notification popped up...vanished, and that's all. No info about a running download, no file on any of my drives. I have been going through the docs and cannot seem to find any info for starting from a cold and dark cockpit. All that I can find is preflight procedure assuming that electrical power up has already been done. this could just be my inexperience showing here, so would appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction. thanks,

Hey folks, I noticed setting the Baro minimum is a little frustrating, with the 737 we can use the middle button on the mouse rotating it, i cant do that with the T7 i need to use the right and left and it takes so long. is there any other way?

I know there are similar threads in this forum and the easy answer is hardware, well it's not. I have this small issue on the 777, and only the 777. Currently enroute from Amsterdam to New York I have had, since the startup some hicks similar to the one shown in one of the BETA videos, where FSUIPC did some datasave, I dont have this enabled, but I still have this lockup for some seconds, and I hate that to happend on final approach. Specs are in my sig. and everything else works fine.

I am unable to activate my copy when I select the plane, nor I am able to download any liveries through the OPS centre ( 800c0008 error ) When I put in my key to activate - I get the error that I am not connected to the internet. I have no firewall or whatsoever installed. OPUSFSX and all other addons such as Addon Manager connect well to the internet. Any fixes ?

Hey! Just doing a quick hop form KLAX-KLAS I went through all of the checklists and did everything I should but for some reason the Master Caution Light is stuck on. I've checked everything and even skimmed through the Tutorial just to make sure (Had some practice on the X-Plane Ramzees 777) Any idea if this is an initialization error or maybe a random bug? Its not affecting anything so I guess it may be something random. I started from Cold and Dark. If anyone needs my specs or any other info I can give that. - Thanks for the help

I ordered the 777 last night at 21:15 GMT in London, I am still waiting at 16:30 the next day for an email and link to my order! Disgusting customer service thus far not one reply to any of my messages on the PMDG Facebook group, I also submitted a ticket earlier today and nothing yet!
