PMDG 777

Let's start with the RC issue. When I let Otto have COMS, it does not change the frequency, I have to take the COMS back in order to manually do so, when I'm forced to do it manually it takes me 2-3 presses to change the frequency. I also noticed that the frequencies on the actual radios on pedestal never change. Do I have something incorrectly set? THR REF I was at PAE 34L starting my first flight, I set the throttle to 45%, let it roll for a couple of seconds and engage the TO/GA. The throttle picks up just fine and at about half way of the runway it's switching from THR REF to HOLD. Any ideas what am I doing wrong? Thanks for any input. Jacek Gaweck…

the caution light came on on the glare shield and wont go off. there is no amber lights on in the overhead, there is no amber messages on the ecais, and when I go through the synop. pages everthing seems to be green and good to go. any help?

Ill go to disconnect the autopilot and the alarm sounds (normal) but then when I press the button to silence it it doesn't stop. The only way I silenced it was to (after putting the disconnect button back) re-engage the autopilot.....

Went looking through the forum and I didnt see anyone who mentioned this, the wing inspection light splash on the wing looks like it is made up of little dots, is there something wrong on my end or is it the 777 itself? The plane I was using for that picture is the Battle Ship Grey UAL fictional scheme.

Anyone having issues with not being able to silence the autopilot disconnect alarm. It won't shut off...

I've been flying this for a day, and recently I noticed on the external views the outboard slats and flaps are not extending. Only the inboard devices are being extended. Everything indicates correctly, and the plane flies well, but visually it looks slightly funny. Windows 8 64-bit FSX - SP2

Hi there, I was flying from CYYZ to CYVR with FL350 cruise altitude. On the ND, I see the T/D point coming but even after plane crossed that point, the status does not change from clb to crz although I see the thrust coming down to about 80%. Is there anything that I should have done? When I followed the tutorial I get exactly what the tutorial had (clb to crz was ok).

Hi All, I have a caution light with no associated EICAS warning that won't clear. It appeared as I started number 1, 2 was already running and stable. Recall gives no information. If I press the Caution button on the glareshield, the Caution light remains lit. All systems pages appear to be normal. There are no active failures in the CDU. I have sent a screenshot of my overhead to a rated B777 pilot who said it looked good. I have been able to depart as normal, and am now in the cruise at F390 on a short flight with no other issues. Just this unexplained caution. Any ideas?

I was doing a second lap around the pattern at KPAE, this time on autopilot. With heading hold on, I was rotating the heading hold knob with a keyboard shortcut in preparation for a turn to base, when everything went dark, I looked up at the overhead and every switch was in its off position. My engines were still running and I could hear them powering up but about 30 seconds later my FSX stopped responding. I am absolutely amazed with the aircraft but I'm puzzled as to why this happened. HI Im a bit confuised about capturing the VORs on 777, i put 2 differance vor on the fmc then go to the vor 2 for examp, push to the LOC button and nothing happens. on 737 you enter 2 vors than aproach the vor on the site of the master FD with a accepteble angle then it etabilishes with no problem, but on 777 its a bit tricky as we dont have the master selections on FD.(it doesnt etabilish when both sides are the same vor neihder).i dont even see an ''arm'' on the pfd and loc button doesnt illuminate. thanks

Hi, I can't see the options for either the placement of the SATCOM dish or for the ADF receivers. I have seen these in Beta videos. Will they return in the SP???? I patricularly want the ADF receivers, but the SATCOM would be nice too. Best regards, Robin.

Hello guys...Many fellow simmers including myself use a multi monitor set up. One problem that can occur with this type of display is the infamous spinning mouse curser which happens when a 2d panel cannot be shown due to its resolution being too small. Previously, PMDG issued a fix for our NGX 737 aircraft. Can anyone advise whether a fix has already been made to coincide with the 777 release..Thanks

As I was on final approach into Islamabad earlier, I disconnected the autopilot by pressing the AP Disconnect bar. The problem (or is it a problem?) that I'm having is - the AP disconnect alert sound will stay on until I re-engage the autopilot. I have maybe missed something in the manuals?

On the PMDG forum, when you are looking at all the forums, it still says: "All about the upcoming release from PMDG of the B-777." ^_^

Hi to all 777-junkies ^_^ , I've got a problem concerning the Ground Equipment. In the GE Section of the FMS, everything is selected of. But still the airplane modell is showing chocks and external power and it won't disappear. Does that make sense to anybody? Is it a bug or my User error? Thanks in advance

After loading I was able to click on the Auto throttle with my mouse and move the switches, after using a "popup" to program the flight computer I noticed I could no longer activate any switches or rotating knobs with my mouse. I did get a "Run as Administrator" pop up during the loading of the 777 but ignored it. Could this be the problem? What other reason might de-activate my mouse? ThanksKen

Hello guys, I have a kinda weird issue (or me being stupid!), whenever I start the bird from the cold & dark state and I switch ON the battery to start the single FMC operations, the FMC screen doesn't turn ON and stays black even though there is a power running. Any hits why? :( Thanks!

Is it possible to select lower panel res for VC and turn off first officers displays as in 737NGX? Tried to fins it in ops center but I see it only for 737. I need this as I get occasional stutters, especially when looking towards center console and FO side. This is further exaggerated when flying during dusk transition. Oh and I damaged the new bird.
