PMDG 777

In one of Frooglesim latest videos, he copied a table of wind data from Activesky 2012 and through creating a text document, could import the wind data straight into the FMC. My question is, I am using OpusFSX right now, is there any way to generate a table like the one in the video? Thanks

I know and i read about it and it takes AGES to set it to any value. Can this please be reviewed? Setting 1300ft is just tedious, it operates like a Captain Sim control knob and doesn't match the other knobs at all :(

HI, I am currently flying from EGLL to OBBI and since departing I've had to battle an issue where the next 1 or 2 (sometimes more) waypoints have their speeds set to 170kts in the FMC. I am currently at FL350 and have set the MCP speed to .83mach. If I leave it on FMC speed, the aircraft slows down to the slowest possible safe speed, just above stall as the FMC sets the speed to 170kts. Now, this happens as the flights progresses. For example, in the FMC I can see that my waypoints currently are: BOREP 170/FL369 BAMAS 170/FL381 KEPOM .828/FL390 Now, when the aircraft reaches BOREP, KEPOM will be altered to read 170/390. Just got to cruise on the BA 777 . I have noticed that the leading edge slats are still abit down. But the flaps are up and it says they are up in the screen. Is this normal ? my altitue is 37000 and my speed is fine Not sure if it's something i have not done in the CDU or does this aircraft sometimes do that for stability Thanks Steve

You think it is possible at least somethink equivalant on tablets that allows us to follow our long flight plan, winds etc. I own the topcat on my pc but still no update for the pmdg t7. So as you know there's only a 77L with and without AUX tank option in PFPX. To get correct figures for the 77F is very easy - follow along... Start by clicking the top right bottom to display various options. Then select the Aircraft Manager > Aircraft editor Select the aircraft as the 777-200LR and put which registration you like. You need to change the following: MZFW: 248115 MAX LNDNG: 260815 PAX: 0 CARGO: 106685 *ADDED AFTER INITIAL POST* FUEL: 145523 MTOW: 347814 MAX RAMP:348721 So it should look like: Afterwards just save it once setting up the rest of the settings/Equipment/ETOPS etc. Very easy to do and thou…

Hi. Firstly! OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!! Am new to FSX. Am using a logitech joystick with twist for rudder/nose gear usage. Many models I fly, when twisting the joystick when stationery, the rudder moves, then when taxing it locks and the nose gear only moves, then after a certain speed on the take off roll the twist action only moves the rudder as the nose gear movement is restricted. Am assuming the 777 model can do the above and am guessing I need to change some controller settings? Can anybody kindly assist with the setting? Kind regards Matt Martin

Anybody know why the volume of RAAS is really quite. I have all the sound settings turned up in fsx and RAAS and its still barely hearable. if anybody can help thanks

Excellent product PMDG - well done! I am experiencing a slight aircraft bounce ussually when I change views (this does not always happen). This slight aircraft bounce can also happen when I am just panning around the VC. Any thoughts out there on what might cause this? Thanks and regards, ap.

Hi Everyone I am enjoying the steep learning curve from the B737 to the B777 however a couple of things have me stumped and hope someone can help. I am using a Saitek yoke and throttle setup and initially had difficulties with the throttles retarding after increasing throttle and sorted that by removing the calibration through FSUIPC as per the suggestions on this forum. I do however have many key commands including gear flap etc on the buttons of my throttle via the Saitek software not FSUIPC and to date all had worked very well. In the B777 documentation it says that you can use the z command to turn on the autopilot and if pressed again it turns it off again but …

Guys, the 3 buttons "accept, rjct, cncl" on glareshield are just dummies right? As CPDLC not implemented? correct me if wrong. Even the COMM menu which can be selected on lower eicas in the electronic checklist. all atc menus are blank.

Rwy, all FAF waypoints and all types of user created waypoints can be put into fix page. Now you can build place / bearing / distance waypoints from user created along track waypoints, Rwy and FAF waypoints on the legs page and all of these can be inputted into fix page The only thing that doesn't appear to be possible yet is to create place / bearing / distance waypoints from already created place / bearing /distance waypoints, either on the legs page or the fix page. Hello guys, i have a problem to make the 777 working with my TQ6-ADV. If i arm the auto throttle, the thrust levers jumping up and down and then remaining at 30% N1 when I try to push levers on the TQ6 forward. When auto throttle is disarmed the levers moving up and down smoothly as the should. I set everything via FSUIPC. This problem doesnt occur on the NGX. Thank you in advance

Im going in circles at the airports i bought and installed FSuipc and was thinking about putting my yoke and throttle through that. BUT i cant for the living daylights figure out how to setup the thing through FSuipc anyone willing to shed some light on my problem and maybe a walktrough on how to set it up for the T7?.
