PMDG 777

I'm finding this as I alt-tab around, going on the internet or doing different things on my computer, when I come back to FSX, it'll be a white screen and non-responsive. Never seen this before until the 777. Any ideas? It doesn't do it consistently, but it's ended a few flights prematurely now.

hi need help please with the "operation center" for the pmdg777 not working .When launching the operation center a message says the" programm has to be stopped .. send to Microsoft ?" i use win 7 64 bit, fsx sp2 and the pmdg 777 installation was ok.. i start the operation center as admin too. ive upgrade it too and it says upgrade ok... what i do wrong? thanks in advance for help and any idea of solution. Just wanting to know if its me or is my nav data is out of date already with the rwys at Panc airport. flew into panc and wanted to land at 07L but fsx said it was 6L Raas also announced 6L as well( since I got the error in the cdu about the mismatch in rwy etc) and than I noticed all my rwys in the 777 were 1 number off to the fsx airport data. So had to land manually.

I'm not seeing the backlighting of the panels like other airplanes. I have turned them on using the proper switches, and them made the diming switch go full, at night I see the backlighting, but not during the day. Is that how it is designed in reality or is there a problem? Day or night I can get the splash dome lighting to work on all panels, but not the backlighting of the gauges.

How do I assign an axis to the tiller, how do I control it, cureently not able to move it, even with the rudder pedals. Is there a keyboard command or key mapping for the tiller. When I move rudder pedals then nose wheel turns , but the tiller does not move. I have searched the manuals, PDF etc. Could not find the information. Any assistance , clues ? Thanks Hari

I now firmly believe something is wrong with the 777 on my computer. I'm having several issues, but one that seems to be the most show-stopping for me is the fact that I cannot see the lights illuminate the ground in front of me from the VC. 1) Lights illuminate the ground in FSX is set 2) NGX lights and default a/c are OK 3) I'm 100% certain the lights in 777 were off. They are visible on the a/c in the external view, just don't illuminate the ground (in VC and in the external view). I don't care about strobes/etc if they don't, but I fly at night a lot and this is important to me. Any suggestions what to check? [ totally offtopic, I also have major thr…

Hi, On other aircraft, depending on payload (particularly cargo hold), when looking in the hold with an empty aircraft, the holds are empty, but on the 777 the holds are fully loaded still? This visual representation has been a feature on many aircraft from PMDG, so wondering if there is some issue preventing it working here (or bug maybe)? Advanced animations are enabled (just in case it is required). I'll check the pax version later - only been flying the cargo variant so far. Best regards,. Robin.

Was having an issue with coroute, which was down to PFPX and understanding which .RTE/.RT2 format it should be outputting. Which is sorted now. realising need to output as NGX but to 777 folder. However while i was getting my head around it I noticed this. If you request company Route it looks for routes in the PMDG/Flightplans/777 folder with .rte extension however if you go to RTE 2 and then do the same, it looks for .RTE files in the PMDG/Flightplans only folder which is where the J41 and 747 save the routes. Shouldn't it be also looking in the 777 folder?

Nothing works any more since I installed this a/c. I have saitek yoke and rudders that have been working right up until I installed the 777. I have tried other aircraft and the same thing happens with them. The throttles do not go to the stops ,no full power, the ailerons wont go to the left or right all the way, none of my switches profiles work any more. Nor do my key commands I have set up on my keyboard! I have re-calibrated all controls thru FSX reset all the assignments and they are still not working.(I don't use FSUIPC settings). Hi guys, when I was climbed to CRZ Level (in VNAV) the speed goes down until minimum speed (then the 777 pitches nose down to get more speed). The N1: CLB: 99.3 CRZ: 84.3 What is the reason of this? Why can I fit it? I do not like to fly the whole flight with SPD, LNAV and ALT.. Thx a lot! Edit: I don´t use Active Sky. I use the freeware FSRealWX v1.06

Hello fellow simmers and PMDG staff :-) Running FSX on a fairly old pc has´nt brought me any troubles until the arrival of PMDGs beautiful triple 7 . As you can see from the pictures, the "skin" of the triple7 is missing. The problem does not show up when running the NGX. FSX loads it fairly quickly and everything is just fine inside the virtual cockpit. PMDGs Nvidia Inspector settings is in use. What setting could/should be changed to get rid of the this problem ? Hi Guys! I Installed just now the 777 amd then i made a go around and all ok! then i quitted the Sim and opened the operation manager and told me there were an update and i downaded and updated it but actuall i received an error like the programm has stopped working. Anyway anytime i launch it i have this error an this programm never open. Any idea? Thanks

It's been a few days of playing around with the PMDG T7 now and I have question about the ADIRU I haven't run across an answer for after intelligently searching the manuals (I say this because I have not read the 3,000+ pages yet). ADIRU after long turn/secure: I don't expect this is a bug, but am wondering if anyone can give the systems logic. I notice that the PFD maintains the ground/sky with attitude indication after the ADIRU is turned off when securing the aircraft (and remains there after a long turn as such). It does indicate it has no heading data. After switching the ADIRU on to align it, this attitude indication is lost until alignment. I am trying not …

I'm hoping perhaps someone might be able to give me some advice and help to polish my flare and final touchdown. I am able to hold a stable approach by either PAPI or ILS G/S until at least 50' AFE (effectively the threshold). Additionally, I am using the A/T (based on Boeing protocol) to hold Vref + 5. The A/T does retard at 25' as it should and I am starting my flare between 20-30' (closer to 20' now). What I am finding is that I have a tendency to float and don't make touchdown until 2,500-3,000' past the threshold (just at the very limit of the TDZ) and around Vref - 5 (again, technically ok, but at the limit). Yes it largely stems from people not reading at least the introductory manual but I also fault other payware addons that cancel the alarm for you which probably gives people the wrong impression that pilots don't have to cancel it themselves.

I just purchased the 777 and when I try to go through Setup the first thing I see is a window popping up saying "Unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to Install." I click OK, which is the only option, that window disappears and I sit here and stare at my monitor and say something like "Well shucks..." My system is an SSD on which the OS sits, and then an internal HDD on which everything else, including FSX, is sitting. How do I direct setup to see that FSX is over there and not on the OS SSD?
