I am really annoyed and just confused. I really like the T7 from PMDG but this is a dealbreaker. After i change views (vc to spot or vice versa) the nd and pfd displays just start shaking violently. This prevents me from getting accurate altitude speed and bearing information. does anybody know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

My first installation of the 777 resulted in a sim which did not behave properly. Some years ago, a MS tech told me that you should always build a new fsx.cfg file everytime you install a new addon. Another told me that corrupt dll.xml files can also cause problems. So here is what I did, resulting in a smooth operating sim. 1. Uninstall the 777 using the control panel "uninstall" function (as recommended by PMDG). 2. Deleted the "dll.xml" file. Usually found at: users\your name\appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx. You may have to "unhide" files. 3. Make a new "dll.xml" file by running the FSUIPC installer. 4. Delete the "fsx.cfg" file found in the same loc…

Hi All, Excellent plane by the way. Been looking forward to having it for and doing my first flight from EGLL-OMDB. I have three small issues though 1) I can't seem top drag the pop up MFDs around anymore like in the NG 2)Setting TA/RA doesn't automatically squawk mode C in squawkbox 3) Get invalid data when importing winds aloft from activesky, already posted , probably noob related too I can put up with these but might be being a noob Excellent work PMDG, it is a triumph Regards Ceri

Fantastic aircraft, got to grips with it pretty quickly and havent stopped using it since.. Ive been able to sort out the couple of niggles i had, but am unable to sort the following and wonder if anyone else has had the problem When using squawk box, i am able to tune com1 into a frequency and set mic and speaker to it. Normally you can also tune a station to com2 and just listen in on this. I am unable to do this for some reason. When a second station is tuned you get the message on Squawkbox that you are receiving and transmitting on X freq and listening only on Y freq Hope this explains and someone can help Many regards Andy

Ok this is really frustrating. i really like the PMDG 777 so far but this right here is a dealbreaker. After I take off at about 1000 feet i turn the autopilot on. then i engage lnav and vnav. then all hell breaks loose. the pfd and hud start to shake and spin around really violently but the plane still flies like nothing wrong! I cant get accurate altitude, airspeed and bearing readings because it keeps spinning and rotating around! Is there anything I can do to fix this?

HI guys, I, like many, am struggling a lot with the release candidates performance and in combination with the visible mouse hurting I want you guys to help me test something. Someone mentioned that putting the fps number on the pmdgoptions>performance to 15 or 8 improves things somewhat. I am testing at the moment and I can put the fps on the PFD to 15 or 30 [the rest on 8] without a significant hit, I may be wrong though. Could you guys replicate this for me? Everything on 8 apart from the pfd which you can put to 15 30 60 unlimited and report back? Alex EDIT#1 The gauge that affects my performance most [noticeable immediately] is sw…
