First, the ticket system is not working! #1. I saved a panel state that I wanted. The next time I loaded the aircraft and did all the preflight, disconnected the ground power units and did a pushback. Lo and behold, there was a power unit stillattached to the aircraft. (see screenshot 1). I checked to make sure i had remover ground power and I had. See screenshot 2. I went and deleted all of my saved startups and tried it again and the power unit was gone. I think the problem has something to do with saved startups. #2 With the 777 , I am getting black aquares in the contrails and the smoke is black, if I get contrails at all. See screenshot 3 & 4. You will al…

First, I just want to say thank you for an awesome simulation of the 777. It's been my favorite since I was a kid! I have read parts of the FCOM and FCTM, but haven't come across an answer to this yet since I've been working a lot. I was curious about the airplane's Vref speeds at different weights, so during cruise, I played around in the Approach page in the CDU, typing in different weights to see the corresponding speeds. In the -LR passenger, at MLW (491000lbs) I get Vref30 137, Vref25 146 When I experimented with extremely light weights, like 350,000lbs, I got Vref30 137 Vref25 137 Same thing in the Freighter, only with higher speeds at MLW since that…

Hi all, whilst finding it difficult to say which is the best, the t7 or the 737ngx, I would say some things in the t7 package are remarkable. Now, I often read from pmdg about reverse engineering new advances from the new sim into the previous projects, but don't notice this being done too often. But I am sure that all enthusiasts here would welcome the autocruise feature being retrofitted into older pmdg sims. It works so well, its unbelievably good. what about it fellahs? Lloyd jones

Hi all from northern germany, yesterday i take my old polar crossing chart and simulate a polar flight with the wounderfull PMDG777 from ENVA to PANC. Thanks Team from PMDG!!! the route was: PANC GISOX N70E007 N76W000 N82W020 N85W060 N84W090 N80W130 N74W141 N70W146 TKA Panc.and no winds clear skys. the flight endet with no FScrash. when passing GISOX i change to the TRUE heading. after N70EW007 the GRID sign comes to the ND. the flight was on LNAV and VNAV and FL380. the 777 shows the TRUE and GRID heading. but at the waypoints N82W020 N85W060 N84W090 around 10 miles before we passing the points the 777 lost the correct heading and fly 2,5 miles left then right…

Can someone help real quick - I can interpret the rest of the METAR report but what is the bolded information saying? I'm guessing the T01000083 is referencing a Thunderstorm, maybe?PANC 101453Z 00000KT 10SM -RA FEW025 BKN065 OVC100 10/08 A2970 RMK AO2 SLP057 P0009 60018 T01000083 53002 Thnx!! Richard

Hi! I am busy with a video this week and there are some scene's with landings. What I am used to is make a circuit around the airport with low fuel. I will in all the data in the FMC and I take off to get prepared for landing. Most of the time my VREF is around the 130 to 137 knots. When I am about to land I try to keep my speed at that VREF. But I keep getting the stall sound after going lower than 140 knots. FS doesn't say I am in a stall... neither do I fall onto the ground and I can continue with the landing. For a video it is fine... I just mute the sound since it is cinematic. But when I am going to do real flights with it... it can get quite annoying. Is this a…

Hey all, Quick question. Can I install the T7 on my current PC to read the manuals and uninstall her when my new build is finished to install her again on that PC? Can I use my serial more than one time basically? That's all. Greetings, Ash

Gentlemen, congrats to that beauty. I love her from the first moment and the sounds are so so f.... great :-) There is only one thing that i would love to see bringing more "life" into the T7.... A intearctive First Officer like in the Airbus Extended. Would something like that be possible ? Thanks, Carsten

1) Loses its track on True heading mode when going over the pole. Side to side action of about 3 miles. Magenta line turns but no fix, wpt or coords associated with it in FMC. 2) Back lights and panel lights on over head do not function. Knob works just fine. 3) During manual landing, trim is INOP; no green bars. Programmed button on yoke does not work. Works with all other planes I have including the MD-11 and NGX. Comes back as soon as you land. Works fine after takeoff with no issues. 4) GPWS does not call correctly. Misses alt call outs. Last night went 40, 20 and then touchdown. Also missed some other ones too. Oth…

Hi PDMG! Say, what if you can install air stairs? The 737 has it and it would be a wonderful add on for the triple. Maybe have a option under the menu to where it rolls in to either the first door or the second?? Just an idea

I like doing flights real time, and saving when I run out of time to finish, I tried loading a flight and noticed that all of the screens are blacked out in the VC. I hope this is a glitch.

Hi, can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong ? I was doing a RNAV34 approach in YMML with LNAV/VNAV when i desided to make a goaround hitting the TOGA button. The engines spooled up to about 80% N1 and i retracted the gear after a positive climb. and set Flaps right away. I took my throttle all the way up after hitting TOGA and have my throttle at max. I noticed the speed drop so i hit FLCH but the speed was still going to stall and below. So i desided to disable the A/T and i had to take my throttle back an forward again to spool the engines back up. The throttle is not calibrated in FSUIPC. only via FSX menu. Disregard the flaps setting on picture becau…

777 is great product - i love all of 777 you realized! Thank you,PMDG! But 1 BIG troble we have- logic of EFIS knobs. Especially in air turbulence in VC. All is ok, BUT we dont need to use right mouse button at all! We need only Left button for change knob direction. ( speed logic seems to be ok,but just make a some wider range?) Real decision ,that we need ,is more simple, IMHO. Imagine this: click LMB and drag to right- values going incremented. Click LMB and drag to left- values going decremented. Click and drag to left than right- values going down and up. Its a more simple and intuitive than this moment realized- to change direction of values now we nee…

Hi guys So Ive been enjoying the 777 with no problems at all until i installed this scenery! Basically it caused my 777 to appear skeleton and was impossible to fly. Uninstalled the scenery and everything is fine.. Any ideas why it caused this?

Hello All Not sure if anyone of you have had the same issue as I have had. While I use AS2012 (an amazing weather programme) it does not give me the maps and data which an airline pilot would normally have access to. I have come across a website which looks to have a bucket load of information about weather, possible turbulence and it covers areas outside the USA. Most importantly the site overlays weather information over North Atlantic Tracks (updated daily as are the tracks). Here is the link http://www.turbulenceforecast.com/ Hope you find it as helpful as I have over the past few days with planning my flights and knowing when I am going to hit t…

Hello, on a Frooglesim engine sound preview video, I noticed a peculiar flaperon behaviour, in that it droops with increased thrust. Is this normal? I can think of two behaviours that might command this (apart from it being a little bug) a) The flaperon droops to deflect the exhaust downwards, therefore helping lift or b) the flaperon is deflected downwards by way of an effect similar to Venturi effect created by exhaus gasses, lowering the air pressure underneath the flaperon, thereby sucking the flaperon (with actuator bypass active) down. I have read a couple of years ago, that flaperon actuators are bypassed in some conditions to lower the actuator…

After having a real hard time with power units running along side me and no skin on the aircraft and just a misrable time flying, I went back to the manual and read it one more time and followed it almost word for word. The found that the best fix was to take FSX out of Program files x86. I created a folder and after completely removing all aspects of my flight sim put it in C/Microsoft Games. I lost 99 percent of my problems including the trouble I was having acars cycling my speed breaks and landing lights. When I reloaded FSX before I put any addons including the 777 I followed the instructions for the cfg files. Works like a champ. thanks for your time Diehl

Hey guys, First if all I have to say that this airplane is awesome! Thanks to PMDG! I have one question though, is it normal that the plane's nose is up for 2 to 3 degrees during cruise? Thanks for your help! Moritz

To everyone experiencing this- try loading your plane a little bit more. I thought I had the problem with this and tonightIi decided to try my shiny 777 with a 100% load. Perfect takeoff performance.

Hi, I have a question concerning a "surprising" discovery: With flaps 25 or 30 selected the flaperons retract to their neutral position at or above ~145kts. I find this somehow weird because flaps 20 maneuvering speed is usually above 145kts. Thus, you have to reduce speed further to 145kts or below before selecting flaps 25. Is this the correct behaviour of the flaperon? Maybe a kind of load relief? I have searched the web, tutorial and FCOM but haven't found an answer so far... Thanks for clarification Robert

Hi Gents, First of all, congratulations on another bar-raising release! I'm sure every other developer wishes they could have the talent on their teams that you so evidently do! I can remember reading an interview (or was it seeing a video interview?) of Capt. Randazzo speaking about how, in the NGX, if you've never used the new HUD, you're missing out. He made of point of saying how proud he is of that feature. It seems it took a lot of hard, and innovative work to get it to function as it does in the real aircraft. I was wondering if there is one specific feature of your T7 that you would compare to the HUD in that respect?

My Problem: On manual and automatic landing, the throttles does not move to idle before the wheels are touched down during flare. Only somewhere near idle. During manual throttle ops, If I retard the throttles to Idle in the air, they go to the idle detend and then move ~0,5 inches forward. This happens on - automatic landing - manual landing A/T on - manual landing A/T off - manual landing A/T off and A/T arm switches on the MCP turned off. As soon as I touched down the throttles drive back slowly to complete idle - but not fast enough for the autobrakes.. During manual throttle ops, If I retard the throttles to Idle in the air, they go to the idle deten…
