    Hello, I bought this flawless T7 on the day it released and I loved it.I must thank PMDG for this great add-on but I have a small problem.I love watch my replay of landing in taxi way but I can't make it in this aircraft most of time.(app. 7/10 of my flights) I have problem about replay.Sometimes plane disappears and I only see the shadows on the ground or everything dissappears a black windows comes and my flight closes before I go to the gate.It also makes in any settings page.When I come back to plane there is nothing about the plane anymore.(Just a shadow on the ground of my beautiful T7) I think you suggest me to read introduction but I made all of the settings …

    I know this may be unnecessary, but I thought it was very useful. I was just wondering if it were possible implement selection of the start up state through the OC. You know, so if we have it set in the sim to a ground power state, and we want to start a cargo flight from cold n' dark, we don't have to wait for the current state to stop counting down. Instead we enter a "new" plane that is completely dark.

    Hello, Love the latest product and have been enjoying it error free on several long haul flights since release. Observed on the last two flights, however, that on short final, disconnecting the AP will cause the associated alarm to sound followed immediately by a CTD/freeze. Any assistance would be appreciated. (By the way, I performed a search on this forum for this issue, but haven't identified one.     This is issue could be seen as rivet counting, but just to point it out: When in the virtual cockpit, in the captains seat, if you pan and look at the window opening mechanism, you can see the ground moving through a gap just above the clipboard. Just thought I would point it out. Alex Jones

    I've just found out in the FCOM that THR makes the autopilot adjust the thrust for a specific V/S. From what I've seen, FLCH always commands THR, but sometimes I get full reference thrust, and other times I get variable thrust for a specific V/S. Is there a way to activate THR REF while in FLCH? Conversely, is there a way to remain in THR, but climb at max N1? Finally, in what conditions does FLCH command full N1 climb/full idle descent, and in what conditions does it command a specific V/S? LVL Change works differently in NG, and I've been unsuccessful at finding this in the manuals, so I'd appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.

    HI, I did a 10 flights with the 777 but since than in every flight(no metter when or where) the simulator just crash. It is happend with the 777 only. I have 6GB of RAM and I usually use 4-5 of them with the simulator open. What can I do? Cheers, Guy

    I just saw an app in App store called iFMS which should be able to connect to fsx and be used as FMC. Has anyone tried it and know if it will work with the 777? It would be great to be able to actually "push" the LSK in stead of using a mouse.

Dear Dev-Team, would it be possible enjoying the PMDG 777 sounds if iam viewing some charts or use some other tools while flying (fsx isnt in focus anymore) ? ...i purchased this impressive tool to be able for the FSX sounds (sounds using fsx to playback) http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=soundstream , but unfortunable the PMDG special cockpit sounds arent covered using Flight1 SoundStream. i know addons like Flightsim Labs Concorde special sounds ignore fsx focus and continue playing, so ithink it isnt a big deal to have that also for the PMDG 777 enabled ?     Hi, I'm currently enroute KORD-EDDF and my airspeed has dropped again. This has happened on several flights. I'm currently flying on VATSIM using ASE current winds 304/9 with 7kt X/wind. I've got Econ speed showing in FMC .825 and I've not managed to get to .84. I'm using FSX on a W7 64bit. I've only noticed this problem since using T7. I'm cruising at FL350 and my speed has dropped to 200 kts from .821? And I'm keep getting Airspeed warning low REgards Jason

    Dear PMDG, I noticed that my entries in Default Trans Alt are not applying the CLB page under VNAV. I tried different liveries but with same outcome always to be 18000. Looking for your instruction. Best regards

    I could be mistaken but in photoreal scenery with PMDG's beautiful and amazing 777 which I am so grateful for, I find the scenery is a little more blurry. Thus it leads me to the following theory based on what PMDG has said in their manual as well. There is less free memory available for photoscenery in rendering when using the 777 compared to a more standard less memory intensive aircraft such as the trike or even the standard LearJet in FSX. Also what I have found is that if you don't change views often and stay in the cockpit you can conduct 16 hour flights with no OOM issues at all, and I have a load of photoscenery installed on my machine.     HI everyone, I've been trying to play with the new 777 but I keep getting odd graphics errors with the use of the aircraft I don't get with any other addon or plane, I'll attach a picture of what happens once I leave a menu. This seems to happen no matter where I put the plane, in this screenshot posted I "was" on the runway at YSSY in Sydney I have another problem where sometimes the in game menus (right click, the toolbar at the top) appear unreadable, semi transparent or don't appear at all. (I'll try to get a screenshot of this too) I never had issues with the 737 NGX packs this is just with the PMDG 777.

    I have noticed on occasion that the LNAV guidance gets out of whack so to speak and the aircraft starts chasing back and forth to catch it. When I see it happen it is when attempting to turn at a waypoint. The aircraft for some reason will only turn 5 degrees even though the MCP is set to AUTO for rate of turn. The plane will not maintain lateral guidance and start chasing back and forth to reacquire. This is not the old "s-turn" issue. When sitting at the computer and watching it happen, I will see it miss the turn due to only banking 5 degrees or so and then it starts going +30 degree rolls going close to 45 degree banks to try and reacquire. I have to take it off LNAV,…

  17. Hi! I just love the PMDG T7. Everytime i wanna fly this awesome Bird, i´m loading the cold and dark Panel state. After that i can see that some Systems like Trim air and window heaters etc. are still on. How is it in real life? Is this realistic or a Panel bug? I thought that cold and dark means that all Systems are off?!

  18. Just 2 small questions. 1: I did a polar flight ACA15 yesterday, tried to enter the north pole into my FMC fix page for reference. I tried N90E0; N9000.0E00000.0; N90, no help... So I used E89W001 instead... Does anyone know how to actually put the polar coordinate into the FMC? 2: I saw several blue dash rings in the ND of some 777 pictures. Is it called the energy management ring at descent phase? How do I turn it on in my 777? Thank you!

    I'm not totally new to NAT crossings, as I have flown them quite a bit some years back in the PMDG 747/MD11 and LevelD 767. I had learned that throughout the part of the route where radar coverage is lost, aircraft are expected to fly a fixed mach speed cruise and are not allowed to deviate from the altitude they were assigned until the crossing is finished. But I have a few questions I wanted to ask in regards to that rule: 1. At what point is the aircraft expected to adhere to the fixed speed/altitude, at or before the entry waypoint (the named waypoint, not the lat/long coordinates)? 2.     I've searched the issues thread, and the forum but haven't seen an answer. Occasionally I, due to my joystick's oversealous mapping of the brake key, have overheated (brakes) and deflated (tires). Understandable. However, no matter what I do via the PMDG Setup menus I cannot reset these failures. "Clear all", Maintenance, none of these affect the brake temps; I can see the tires repressurize, but they deflate immediately. Did I miss something in these steps? I understood these menus to be the mechanisms for resetting failures, maintenance, etc.... ??? I'm sure it's user error, but I'm lost so far :unsure:

    Hi there! I set FL350 in PERF INIT. But when I go through the legs I see the cruise at FL410. I also notice that the STEP TO on 2/3 of the ECON CRZ page shows FL410. AUTO STEP CLIMBS in FS ACTIONS/AUTOCRUISE is set to NO. Can anyone assist why FL350 is not showing as the cruise in LEGS? Thanks! Maniac59

    I have a question about EFIS detachable screens. Somehow in T7 grabbing them is very difficult, frame area to catch is so narrow that i need to try many times until finally i can move screen. In NGX things were not so difficult. During night flight it is not possible for me to move them, simply cannot grab them. My kind request - please at least give T7 EFIS same functionality and simplicity as NGX ( thicker grabbing frame or some hot spot ... ), if possible ...

    I have made quite a few flights with this fantastic aircraft, and sometimes I get a "ACT LIM SPD CLB" on the climb page of VNAV in FMC. When in this climb mode, the plane will climb maintaining the slowest IAS allowed just above the yellow district of the IAS bar on PFD. I would expect to see an "ECON CLB" mode, in which the plane will lower its nose to accelerate to ECON SPD after passing 10000ft and then climb maintaining this ECON SPD, but in "LIM SPD CLB" mode, the plane will maintain the lowest IAS until getting cruise altitude. And now I get confused. What have triggered the "LIM SPD CLB" mode instead of ECON CLB? Is there anyway I can change LIM SPD CLB mode back t…
