    It seems she is a little sad. See, she loves it when i jump into her cockpit to fly her around Europe and i know she takes me anywere i want. But now naughty PMDG has created her big brother. And she is afraid that i will leave her. That i will like him more than her. He's bigger, newer and more fancy stuff. I did not tell her how i drooled across the screen looking at the amazing T7 art. No...she my baby..i'll stick to her...for now...my little sweet 737 NGX. I love her.

    Hi been searching the forums both here and over at radar contact forums to see if anyone is having any issues wth the 777 and rc4 and I have found nothing so far so maybe I am the only one but would be go to know other peoples experience. I have used rc4 for years now with no probs on all my PMDg planes, but so far I have done 2 flights in the 777 with RC4 and they both had issues. The sorts of things that are happening are things like -being forgotten by the controller -normally when you get 30-40 nm from arrival you are to told to contact approach and get a runway assigned etc, this has not happened -when I reach altitude it is not being recognised by the con…

    I'm trying to get my Saitek throttle to reverse successfully. It work on the PMDG 747 and 737 but when landing on the 777 I have to pull the throttle back and forth a few times to get the reverse to engage. I have it set in the PMDG options as IN HOLD ONLY and have AT on when landing. My understanding is that AT should disengage on touchdown? I have the reverse mapped in FSX, no anything else.

    For the second time now I encountered a strange crackling sound, followed by a high pitched beep and a master caution light. I was on the ground at the gate with the short panel state loaded.     As most NGX experts have learned, it was best to have the NGX descent speed to be .78/280 kts on the FMC Descent page. I think ATC has most jet traffic descend at that speed until the transition to 250kts at 10,000ft. I don't know the specific reason, or if it's only applicable to aircraft in the 737 class, but what would be a reasonable speed for the 777? IIRC, the MD-11 had a descent policy speed, I think the default was 290kts, and whatever the mach cruise speed was at cruise until FL280 or whatever FL that mach changes to IAS. What do the pros use for a descent speed on the 777? I've been using the mach cruise/280 kts, but it seems a little slow. But I al…

    Hi I have the PMDG777 for about a week and a half and have done a few flights starting all ready set up. But now I have started to do cold and dark, I get everything done from the FCOM, the engines are running but when I advance the throttle, the indicator on the N1 goes up but nothing happens? The indicator "doos auto/manual" on the display screen goes out when I advance teh throttle and comes back on when I bring the throttle to idle? Please help, I have done everything perfect in terms of flows and checks, I even copied youtube videos but my throttle has no impact on the engines?   12. Hi pilots, I have a question about starting APU : I tryied to start the APU with battery power online only, no ground power connection. Wonder myself that this way it won't start.. if you listen from outside u can ear the spool up whistle but suddenly it goes down and APU won't stat.. Tryied second attempt : i set up ground connection dual power but without putting online with the overhead switches.. (you can read two green switches telling "AVAIL") only connected but not activated ! In this case the APU starts without problems.. ISSUE or PrOCEDURE ? anyone knows it ? Thank you a lot !

    Hello everyone! Having searched the forums and the manuals, I have been unable to find any information specific to the operation of autobrake during a RTO and more specifically, what conditions need to occure or be present for max braking to be triggered,l with RTO selected. The reason I ask is because during several RTOs under different circumstances, mine is yet to initiate! My basic understanding is that during a normal TO, fully closing the throttle levers is enough for the aircraft's systems to initiate max autobraking if RTO is preselected. Does anything else need to happen in addition? If there is an answer to this in the manuals I'd be really grateful …

    Gday crew, I have the PMDG 777 and have all my controls set up through FSUIPC, unfortunately, when I push the rudder left and right and hold input, the rudder will keep centralising, making Take-off virtually impossible. I use the same set up on PMDG 737 with no problems at all. Any solutuions? Im using Saitek products, I also use PMDG 747/MD11 and JS41 with no issues.

    Greetings ladies and gents !! Hopefully you guys can shed some light on this issue. Few minutes after reaching cruising altitude and leveling off without any problems my bird goes crazy. It seems to ignore LNAV and VNAV because it starts to climb out of the selected flight level at which point I get the Altitude Alert EICAS message and it also deviates from its lateral path. I have done all my weight and balance and fuel calculations correctly, also turbulence effects are disabled. I don't know if its because of REX or the wind speeds aloft and its direction.     Are there any click spots in the VC to open the pop up CDU's? I know you can open them with key commands, but that always crashes FSX to desktop for me. I need this function so I can load the cards. Otherwise, I have to go to the 2D panel just to do that. Thanks.

After a full week of testing, forum reading, and many hours of frustration, I just figured out what was causing my T7 throttle levers to snap-back to idle, regardless of the physical throttle lever action of my Saitek Cessna Yoke & TQ. As Pete suggested over in his forum, I now have all my T7 axis set to 'Send to FS as Normal Axis' and no Calibration section in my "PMDG 777 profile", in my fsuipc.ini file. If you need to reverse an axis (without a calibration section), put a ", *-1" at the end of the axis assignment row in the fsuipc.ini file.   22. Hello, I just want to ask if your 777 does move on ground with idle throttles? Say, plane is moving forward (faster or slower depending on weight) when releasing the brakes? Would be nice, just to hear some "yes, it's moving" or "no, not". I'm not sure if I have changed some settings and had reset them thoroughly and right to default. Many thanks!

    I set up flight profile both departure and arrival PFPX set up stars and transitions, problem is when approaching glideslope intercept CDU does not automatically pick up arrival airport runway ILS identifier or frequency. Tried entering ILS frequency and identifier manually, CDU will not accept inputs. Maybe I am missing some actions either in operation or flight planning, have tried generating same plan in FSC and PFPX, get same result with both plans. Have followed instructions with regard to documentation, but still no joy, has anyone had similar circumstance, or know what to do?
