Hi all in the forum Just thought I would report my experience with win 8 and the 777 as I read in on PMDG site that there was no guarantee of it working successfully as it had not been tested with win 8. I can confirm that I have now made 3 successful flights from cold and dark to various destinations with a hand fly take off up to as close as I can get to top of climb, but if I get into trouble through poor piloting I will switch on the automatics to take over. I have now just completed an online flight via VATSIM successfully but there were no controllers on line for my flight so I have not yet proved the online communication system. I also have to use FSUIPC (without …

It's a minor failure but the winglight texture are very bad :blink: Can we expect an texture update?

Hi, I did something like 10 flights with the 777 and everyting was ok. Since than in every flight(no metter what or when) it is just crash after couple of hours maybe even less. I have 6GB of RAM and I use only 4-5 of them normally when the simulator is open with the PMDG 777. What can I do? cheers, Guy

Good Evening Everyone, Browsed through the forum, and checked the official 'bug list', and can't find this. Maybe someone can point some light on this for me... Today I reinstalled everything because I was experiencing a lot of flightsim crashed which was a direct result of a faulty Hard Dive. I was doing about two hours of 'test flights' now in the 777 which was going perfectly, without any crashed until I tried to use the auto cruise. I immediatley got an FSX BEX crash. Any ideas on this? Cheers.

The T7 is far more advanced in regards to the sound .cfg It is channelled left and right with sounds where as the NGX was just mono. so like this engine 1&2 where in mono on the NGX T7 the sounds are in left & right channel to get a better blend of sounds on flight deck which works very well!!!! So there is no sound issues at all with this Plane . If you experience sound issues update your soundcard or even buy a soundcard if you don't have one. If you do try setting up your sounds as the manuals states. The FSX sound engine is not the best but Armen and the guys did a grand job on the sounds . I have had over a 58 Hours in this b…

Hi PMDG, Can you add SB integration? The 777 is the only add-on aircraft I fly that doesn't have it. Best regards, Robin.

In the Introduction Manual to PMDG's Boeing 777-200 it mentions there being an AirStair in the Doors section of FS Actions. I have checked and re-checked the Doors section and I can see no working Airstair. I do know there is an Airstair as I have seen external photos of the PMDG 777, with it extended for boarding passengers. Can anyone help out here, or am I perhaps missing out on some relevant software? Regards, Orez.

Hi Guys, Quick question. I have mapped the A/T disconnect button (on the throttle) to a button on my yoke. It works fine when executing. My question: When I use the A/T disconnect, I noticed that the A/T L&R switches still stay ON. Is this correct behavior when disconnecting the A/T via the throttle button? Thanks, John

Hi everyone, I posted a few days ago on this, however the forums were not up all the time and now I think it got lost, so please forgive me for reposting. I just wanted to make sure it was read..... Thanks! I notice with the 777, I am getting short pauses / freezes every few seconds which leaves me grounded for now. I saw some posts on longer freezes, but this one perplexes me. Also, I do have good FPS, average around 23-25, but they dip to 3fps on and off for some reason. I have read the manual and also have adjusted the display FPS rates in the fmc as suggested. Just wanted to see if anyone else has this particular issue happening? I am using an i7 3770…

Hi all Apologies for most likely the wrong terminology but just want to check if I have a problem or not When I fly a route normally my flight plan (purple line on nd screen is basically a straight line from bottom to top in the centre of the screen but I've noticed that on a couple of routes they vary by as much as 15deg east or west of the centre of the screen.Although the aircraft sits fine on the purple line and follows it, is this because of a wind component? I use opus realtime weather so on the occasions I have noticed the wind coming at an angle to the aircraft would this be the reason for the offset. is there an option that keeps the purple line staying ver…

Hey.... Have call few days the question how way to use the Compact Engine display.... anser Fcom calls only when lower MFD fail.... Today Look The Pilotseye DVD Aero Logic. They guys use the Engine Compact Display at Normal Operations wish me this for the patch. Hmm Miss that Feature.

Hi ! First of all i have to say that i have made almost 8 flights and most of them are flights around 5-6 hours. All is most clear but in any flight i fly there is always something different. Example i flew the tutorial from VRMM to OMDB and All was ok from take off to landing aside for the caution warning that didnt move away. Then i flew from OMDB to VTBS And the Reccomanded FL was 370 so i ddi set 370 same flight level suggested by PFPX. Then The Step Climb was set to RVSM and it suggested me to climb to FL 390 And soon after to FL 410. Well When I arrived on the S/C to FL410 i selected all but then the FMC indicated thei values Reccomended FL 390 MAX FL400 so i Kept o…

The wind flex is way too much. I have looked on the you tube and they don't looked as flexed as much as the PMDG one. Not sure what anybody else thinks? Mo
