PMDG 777

Good afternoon, I have the latest AIRAC From Navigraph. I have set the minimum runways to 4000ft. I have look at the .txt files and VEGK and VICG are here. When I try to choose those airports in the route page, it says NOT IN DATABASE. Is there a way to force the use of an airport by entering the coordinates, in the ROUTE Page, from / to ? Stephane

Hello everyone! I just want to know how i can switch thru my flghtplan on the ND. I´m asking because i can´t find the STEP Function in the LEGpage of my FMC, after i turn on the PLN Mode on the ND. Normally you can switch from waypoint to waypoint in the FMC with this function and you can see the waypoints focused on the ND. So, how can i do this with the PMDG T7?

I have a problem with the plane. The plane all the time on the turns deviates from the course(Goes wrong on the turn).FOR me it is worth FSX + acceleration. Expect your help and solution

Hi there, I have problem with downloading liveries. When I am open PMDG Operations center is all good then I open the Livery downloader now write error "There was an unkown error downloading the list of liveries". I don't know what to do.... Please help! Thank you all! Jiri Dubsky

Hi Please help, I have some major issues when using the PMDG 777. The scenery seems to go absolutely wild. I have a top of the range PC with a 4.6GHz processor and a HD 7990, so I can't see it being any hardware issues Any suggestions?

The title almost says it all, I was doing a flight from LFPG to OMDB using time accelaration, the problem is that the exterior just start bugging from time to time like the engines exterior texture and the Wings, flaps and tail section would be black or grey before coming back to normal, to finally after that being all invisble as if their where no texture and I could see the whole interior because of that. Would like to know if this could be fix ? I was using FSX Sp2, Active Sky 2012 SP2, PMDG 777-200LRX Air France Livery.

HI, Although all click spots works beautifully and are very useful I would like 1 extra one if possible at all. Instead of pressing the letter A 3 times to arrive at the upper panel would it be possible to have a click spot under WXR on the MCP panel,or have a toggle key ( F9) to do the same thing. I have my panel set in a certain way and with a toggle key I have a quick access and do not have to reset anything. Thanks for a wonderful plane. AlainV

Am I missing something here? My 777 has no option on the MCDU to input any Frequencies and input courses, also on the front panel, there nav selects only can select VOR as below where normally on the 747 for example, you can select NDB. How can someone navigate manually if you can't input course, freq's, NDB's?

Hi everyone! Good news for Boeing from Germany: Lufthansa has ordered 34 B777-9x today (besides 25 A350-900). Unfortunately, deliveries shall be carried out at the earliest between 2016 and 2019... So probably PMDG will release a 9x-Version in three years from now and a further non-fictional Lufthansa livery could become reality. BTW: the already "delivered" PMDG 777F from Lufthansa Cargo will start RW operations in october 2013. So Lufthansa seems to be somewhat "back on the Boeing track", after continously replacing the proved but meanwhile aged classic B737 fleet completely by A320/319s. I was unhappy with the jetways in FSX aligning (or rather mis-aligning) with the beautiful new 777, so I made a small tweak. On the Z coordinate in the Exits section of the aircraft.cfg file, change the 12.X whatever PMDG entered to an 8 and you'll be much more pleased with the vertical alignment. The jetways will no longer jump into and hang in mid air to meet the deck - they align pretty much right on (as far as appearances go). Now, the only remaining issue, and I'd appreciate some help from someone more enlightened is the default jetways are a bit short to hit the 2L door. Hi pilots, I have a question about starting APU : I tryied to start the APU with battery power online only, no ground power connection. Wonder myself that this way it won't start.. if you listen from outside u can ear the spool up whistle but suddenly it goes down and APU won't stat.. Tryied second attempt : i set up ground connection dual power but without putting online with the overhead switches.. (you can read two green switches telling "AVAIL") only connected but not activated ! In this case the APU starts without problems.. ISSUE or POCEDURE ? anyone knows it ? Thank you a lot !

Just giving this a shot as I've noticed this problem on my last several PMDG 777 flights. Using the Lufthansa 777-F livery, I've done two 8-10 hour flights (realtime, not accelerated) recently where the scenery at the destination airport was a bit screwy. 1) KSFO - EDDP - some of the bridges in the Aerosoft scenery were not showing up. Reloaded the scenery library fixed it. 2) KIAD - EFHK - default scenery showing as well as the Aerosoft scenery (almost like the exclude file wasn't working). Perhaps these are pre OOM behaviors? Hi all, I purchased and installed and am enjoying it. However last night and today I have been trying to run it with FsPassenger X and have been encountering some issues. First, when selecting any option from the Alt menu, the screen goes black. I have been able to circumvent this by going into windowed mode, with the menus then appearing. The other issue that is the main problem is that the mini-report menu, where all the buttons are, cannot be clicked except for the music button. Even when I manually go into the FsPassenger menu and attempt to toggle something such as the seatbelt sign, it does not function. Related to this issue, I believe, is the fact…

I'm thinking of purchasing this 777 but it says for minimum performance to use a 2G Nvidia card? My desktop has a AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series graphic card with 1G memory. i7 quad CPU and 12,000mb ram. Will I have good performance? PMDG 747 and MD-11 work fine.

I've just spotted a bug with terrain radar. Whenever I rotate the brightness switch, (Master Bright) my terrain radar is resizing and disappearing, than after 2-3 sec it's reappear. Confirm?

HELLO i flight with fsairline, and as you know we have a tracker for overspeed limit with penalties . my problem is when i take off, whatever what have programmed, the aircraft take off like a rocket to reach at least 270 kt, and then comes back down to the speed i asked for (in the FMC sp/limit like 245/100,for example or on the speed button ). but it s too late for the tracker ! i did an overspeed! could you help ? ty jean, jacques

There appears to be a constant stream of posts querying how to set up EZCA for the PMDG777X. Who will undertake to be the provider of the 'standard' full implementation of an EZCA set, including installation and operating instructions? :Thinking:
