Hey guys, Not sure how many of you have panned around the cockpit looking for cool stuff, but as you already know (because you stare at the instrument panel enough), PMDG has given painters an easy way to match the registration number you're painting with the placard on the dash. So for example the PAL 777 reg. RP-C7777 I painted has a matching placard in the cockpit. But did you also know that they replicate this number somehow on the paperwork on the back wall of the cockpit? Hi, I've been trying to download some documentation for the 777 from the Operations Centre, but it never does anything. When I hover the mouse over it, it underlines, but when I click on it nothing happens. I've looked through the provided introduction manual but found nothing related to the documentation section of the ops centre. I have tried running the Operations Centre as admin to no avail. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Dumb question I guess, but what do you do with the centre CDU op's? door calls, P.A.? I'm not able to find any doc's on the centre CDU or is their? Cheers Rod.

Hi, I'm hoping someone may beable to help me resolve this issue? I'm using the above joystick and notice the rudder will go either hard left or right also the joystick will swing also from left to right. I've tried numerous calibrations which again hasn't worked using the calibrate thorugh FSX , I've deleted my FSUIPC.ini file and the problem still persists. When going into the axis control the rudder shows up as (Z Rotation) yet the elevators and Ailerons are X & Y Axis. I've had the Autorudder Ticked and unticked again still no joy. I tried running the SP1 patch as admin on win7 64-bit home premium. Its starts installing but then just disappears and does not complete. Of course, SP1 is required for SP2 installation, so I am stuck. I have already tried installing using the action center and having it install as in xp or vista emulation mode but nothing works.

I followed the tutorial and it says the A/T Arm should be armed but if I have it armed and if I move the throttle to 55% N1 like it says in the tutorial, the engine revs up and then reves down and If I remember, it also puts the brakes... I have tried this a couple of times... What am I doing wrong? I thought when pressing the rudder to stay straight I may have been applying brakes inadvertantly and maybe it shuts down..but I tried without applying any brakes and it still revs down on take off roll. One of the new features that I absolutely adore is the Ground Ops feature (inside the FMC). However, I've came across some strange behaviour that I could not find an explanation for, even after reading into the Introduction.pdf document. What have I done: I started the flight with a SHORT turn time, which meant I had 55 min to play with. However, since this is a new feature (a really neat one too!), I didn't remember to put in desired fuel right when the turn time started. I started to uplift fuel for a 14hr flight with some 10 min remaining. What I have observed: I had sent the fuel request to be uplifted with some 10 min of turn time remaining, while the up…

Excuse my incorrect terminology, if it pops up, but I am just wondering if the 777 has a click-spot on the autopilot panel like in the 747 and 737 that allows you to use the take-off thrust function where the computer advances the throttles?

First I need to say how much I enjoy this aircraft. Simply amazing! I am wondering if anyone had developed a good method for adding payload into the a/c with the information generated from PFPX? As PFPX is only giving a total cargo weight is the best method to evenly distribute the cargo amongst the different areas (55% - 45% fwd:aft)? I have been doing thing a bit backwards; starting the plan in PFPX, loading up FSX, using the 777 random payload feature and then entering that value into PFPX. From there calculate the rest of the flight plan info. Is there a better way anyone else has? One more thing, once the SDK is available would it be possible to 'move…

I have been trying to change the original FL to a new one on the CRZ ALT in the PERF INIT page but it keeps giving me an invalid entry. Almost certainly doing something wrong, was assuming this way of doing things would also apply to the Triple 7. Any feedback appreciated. Please disregard, another user just told me can be done by entering the altitude on the MCP and then pushing the ALT button.

Hi, Is there anyway to adjust the size of the 2D panel pop-ups? Specifically the left FMC and ECIAS. I know you can manually change by dragging, but is the a fixed method?

Hi I am having a small issue with my save button in my PMDG Ops manager. Whenever I go to my aircraft settings for Air Canada, I can't save any changes I make to the aircraft specific setting. This is the way I have found to do it: First go to Aircraft specific settings page and choose my livery. I press Cancel button first. This will grey out both Cancel and Save button. Make my changes, this will change the color of the buttons back to blue. Then Hit Save. Is this the way how its supposed to be done in the first place ?

Good day all, Tried search function but could not find anything. I do not hear any audibile call outs from the PNF, no V speed, no bank angle, appr minimums or anything that need to be there. I can not remember if I heard any call outs since installing. I have checked in the FMC and all the settings are correct. I did a clean install also and still nothing. My 737 NGX work perfectly. Hello, today i started a triple Leg Operation (LEPA-LGAV-OMDB). I made my Fuel Calculation with PFPX. When i started in LGAV had approx. 39 Tons Fuel onboard. But i always got the message "Insufficient Fuel". When i looked on the PROG Page the remaining Fuel in OMDB should be 0.0 kg so the tanks should be empty. I am right now on my way to Dubai and checked the remaining fuel on each waypoint. The Prog Page tells me that on Waypoint X i should have 13.5 tons in my fueltanks but i have more than the double in it. So where is the problem? Attached some screens.

Quit simple question.. Why no word on whats going on with the 777...From an outsiders view (me, not owning it yet), it looks like there are an awfull lot of problems reported by multiples of users. I've looked, searched, googled but nothing has been said on the matter. And i believe there is one. (albeit a BIG ''one''.) So why the silence? Have no douts there working on it, and probably hard at it too, but some word on it would be nice, if possible.

Ok, I know there are a few threads running on the OOM problems with the t7, but I am struggling. The problems are mostly terminology, and lack of knowledge. The lack of knowledge is not do to not trying. I have read everything currently posted on the issue and I am just puzzled as to if I am inturpeting the terminology correctly.
