Ok just had the weirdest thing happen. Not sure what to make of it. Its happened twice but the first time I never took pics. Its a pushback with GSX, but I dont think that is the problem. First pic I checked to make sure all is ok. Beacon light is on, but it doesnt flash. Didnt think much of it. Maybe it was the angle. 2nd pic is after pushback and engine start. All seems normal. I take a look outside to be sure all is clear, and see whats in the pic. GPU and chalks are still connected and set. Huh? I go and verify the CDU to make sure all ground connections are indeed disconnected and indeed they were. So I check the other CDU just in case, and sure enough nothing th…

I have had the honour today of speaking to my sister's new partner who is a Captain for the 777-200LR . He has been on the PMDG 777 and confirms it is 100% accurate... He said it is a great likeness. VC is great. !!! PMDG well done. Steve .. Sound is extremely accurate especially on start up with the rumble of bass that is spot on !

Hi guys, I need serious help with the panel state issues on the T7. I reset the start-up state to 777-short and now i cant get the default state back. Ever since I reset the start-up state, I cant get the 2D panel at all, it seems to have disappeared. Secondly, even after setting the inertial position, I can't get the APPT, WX, Terr, wpt and any other switch that controls the ND to work. I tried repairing the problem by reinstall, but it didn't work. Please can someone help me get the default panel back. I was saving up for the 777 for long and now that the US$/INR seems to have appreciated, my funds proved insuffcient, had to cut my party budgets to get this bird and …

Flying from BIKF to CYYT, at FL340, suddenly I get an Airspeed Low warning, and had to dive all while in AP. Then I did A/T disc and and slammed full throttle, got back to ,833 and engaged AP again, and started to decelerate again, then went into Thrust Lim and changed to CLB from CRZ and this stopped it happening.

hi folks i was performing my very short flight from LTBJ/LTBA and while descending with a spd restr of 225/FL150 for an ils/05 landing but as you see in the ss bellow i dont have the little green dot on the pink road line that tells shows me the deceleration distance for 225/fl150 restr. The plane slows down without any problem but I dont know if it is somethink i miss or an issue ? i recall having that green dot for some flight i had with other livery so maybe its a setting or something.

I don't understand why my RAAS keep being inaccurate. When I'm on the runway it sometimes says "ON TAXIWAY" or "APPROACHING RUNWAY XX". I followed the instructions about RAAS in the Introduction Manual. I deleted the runways.csv and let MakeRunways.exe create a new one. However, it also created multiple other .csv files - of which I'm not sure they're supposed to be created. But they were all called something like: g5.csv, t4.csv, r4.csv. But it still turned out to be inaccurate sometimes.

I've searched this forum, and found a few references to it, but no answer to this question, I believe... so, here it goes: As far as my T7 install went, RAAS was flawlessly installed and is working perfectly - I just don't want it, and I do not want to re-install the T7 to get rid of it. When I installed the Aerosoft AXE I chose not to activate RAAS, I should have done it with this T7 :-/ Well, anyway, my questions are, and as usual I only use the PMDG livery with each PMDG add-on...: 1) In the CDU, I have an option to enable / disable RAAS. I can disable it here but... 2) There is also an entry in the DLL.XML, and that one will not go away with the chang…

Hi All, I'm not sure that this problem has been discussed or not (I'm a bit lost in this initial storm of posts) so I'm sorry if I duplicate something: Yesterday, during descend I've disconnected the A/T.The caution msg and the master caution light came on per the normal operation. After the second push of the A/T disconnect button, the msg cancelled but the master caution light stayed on whatever I did. I pushed the light-switch several times trying to reset, reengaged the A/T, etc. There was no caution message on the EICAS but the light stayed on. Anybody with the same experience? Hi everyone, When I begin my taxi to the active RWY with a TW of about 500,000 lbs normally, pushing the throttles up to about 25% N1 gets the aircraft to roll quite easily, reaching desired taxi speed within seconds. As soon as I apply some braking action during a turn or something, the same thrust setting wouldn't move the aircraft at all anymore but find myself forced to advance power to about 29 or 30% N1 to get the plane to move. After several times I thought I'd try to set the autobrake to OFF when that happened and the aircraft taxied back normally, as if the autobrake was applying some little braking action. Hi all. I don't know what more can i do. Since i installed the 777 my ezca seems to be dead. I have reinstalled the program several times, followed the manual installation proccess and nothing... I can't move the camera using the cursor keys. I can't move around the VC with the Mouse (i can just zoom in and out with the center Mouse Wheel). I hear the "beep beep" when i press the 2 key but be unable to move the camera and when ezca is enable, using the space bar and the Mouse is just not possible because the view change rapidly to the to the default view in the cockpit.... Any advise please???? Thanks a lot and excuse my english...

Hi All My 777 is loading up with engines shut down, doors open and rear chocks in place. Not as stated in the Tutorial PDF: You can safely load the airplane straight from Free Flight and it will load up with the engines running and ready to fly after a brief self-configuration period. First few times were OK. Now I can't get this ready-to-fly state back. Thanks for help.

Am I missing something blatantly obvious, but shouldn't I be able to turn off the A/P by pressing the A/P button? The only way I can turn off the A/P is using the button on the yoke (or a shortcut key/controller-mapped button).

I just flew Gatwick to Paris CDG and I had 2 problems. Firstly the EFIS froze so as I taxied it didn't update bearing or the view turn with the plane but if I selected it to get the enlarged display then that enlarged display updated fine but on going back to the display in the panel it was still frozen so I could manage with the larger panel. After about a minute the EFIS started updating. Secondly I had had a message "display select panel" but no button in that panel thatcontrols what displays in the bottom display worked during the whole flight though the standard display in that panel was updating but I couldn't display any other view. Hi all, i've just landed to RJAA after a long trip between las vegas and tokyo. However during the descent phase i've got a cdt after tried bypass a holding point @ pixus from melon and to runway 16R. On the fmc i've got a restriction altitude above 6000 @ melon, after 4000 @ pixus with the holding point after pixus @ 4000 and direct to the runway. So when i selected pixus and past instead of the holding point FSX froze and crash to desktop with the info below in the title. I've reload fsx 3x and tried the same thing and fsx crashed 3x... Hi! I was wondering how one could set up their own turn around time in Ground Operations. For me 55 minutes is to long to wait, so I wanted something like 20 minutes or so, but I can´t seem to figure out how to enter that. In what format does it accept manually set time? No where in the manual have I found an answer to that.

In my long range flights, every now and again I realise at cruise, my airspeed starts to bleed off, sometimes quickish, sometimes slowly. I can't figure out why, the closest reason I can guess is something to do with headwind/tailwind change or some significant change in weather. This means not only the weather engine alone, but it may be because I was switching weather engines as well? I would like to solve this issue myself but not sure how I could use the manuals for that, the QRH tells me what errors mean, but not this type.
