    I'm surprised to see on the Op Center that AAL and UAL liveries weren't marked with "accurate equipment" configuration. Is it because they're technically fictional liveries? Anyway, does anyone here have any knowledge of configurations for AAL and UAL, or any other airlines?

    Just purchased today and I`m well impressed. Been on it since 10am this morning (now 17:30), now on my way to Moscow from Glasgow . Every detail is superb and the cockpit textures and colour is very faithful going by my ITVV vids. What I do love is the nose wheel noise on the center line *bump bump* lol The best aircraft yet! Operations center for liveries and updates is cool too! Cheers

    Good day folks, I was seeing some flightdecks with Aircraft Identifications and SELCAL right in front of the pilot. I was curious to find out if anyone knew how to edit those as the Air Canada fleet has their SELCAL included on those. Any insight would be appreciated. Dear all, I fly the NGX on short legs around Europe on vatsim, One of these legs from EDDL to EGLL using the LAM3A approach which takes you over central London, when I brought the 777 I used this short route to familiarise myself with the aircraft but I always got am OOM just as I got established on the LOC, I tried changing my FSX setting and the CFG file plus removing nearby airport from the scenery library but this didn't help.     Greetings all, I'm trying to add the Active Sky winds onto my FMC, but am having problems. I cut and pasted the wind, created a notepad file ("KMEM-OMDB.wx"), and added it to the PMDG/wx folder. However, when I press the Wind Data Rqst on the FMC, I'm getting "invalid request". Any ideas what I might be doing wrong. I cant seem to cut and paste the file into this thread, so I've attached a copy of it. Appreciate anyone's help. Ron

    Touch wood, so far not had nay major issues with this bird, until a few minutes. Following a flightplan created in PFPX KJFK-KLAS; at 40k; approaching Holom where the descent starts; using FSX real weather. Now she is not following the magenta track, and upon reaching T/D instead of commencing descent, it starts climbing beyond 40.Switched to manual track and FLCH to go back to ALT selected just before T/D.     I've purchased the 777 two days ago and am still unable to activate it. I have sent a ticket to PMDG to which they replied that it was a firewall issue having to do with port 8888. Since then, I have uninstalled mcafee from my computer, tried the port forwarding for my router, taken my tower to a friends house and tried to figure it out in windows firewall, all without any success. I have sent a reply back to PMDG stating I have done all this but havent' received a reply thus far. Anybody have any suggestions for me?     First off, I'd like to congratulate PMDG on a fantastic product, I'm really impressed so far apart from a problem with the external model. I searched the forum and it seems for some people the model loads as a skeleton, I have a similar problem but its a little different. When I load up the aircraft everything is fine, no skeleton problems, but when I've been using it for about 30 mins things start disappearing. Normally its the wing area thats affected leaving only the flap section visible,also the gear doors disappear.     hello, I have a problem with the 777 and FSX. FSX crash has every landing and only during landings. That wheels touch the runway, fsx crash. Windows Seven 64b FSX SP2 Nvidia690 Intel I7 socket2011 (X79) SSD Samsung 6060x1200 (Triple screens).ASE2012.ORBX etc..etc..     Hi, I have two issues with takeoff. First, I'm unable to activate N1 mode for takeoff thrust. For some reason, during the takeoff roll, LNAV/VNAV disarm, and can not be re-engaged until after takeoff. I suspect the two are related somehow? Before takeoff I have [bLANK][TOGA][TOGA] [LNAV][VNAV] but during takeoff I get: [bLANK][TOGA][TOGA] What am I missing? I also have a key bound via the FMC to TOGA, so not sure what I'm doing wrong here. :huh: Best regards, Robin.

    Hello I saved a flight in the middle of pacific ocean (VHHH KSFO), i loaded it today and the vnav was no more working (impossible to reactivate it (all vnav data was gone)) and i have OOM when i click on some buttons now i have to make the whole flight again am i the only to have this issue ?

    Hi, Parked at PHX on summer with OAT of ~55 Deg C on ground. Confirmed on EICAS. I have not connected Air and Just did the APU shutdown. So absolutely no APU Bleed and no External Air connected. Engines shut down. L all doors Opened. I thought the cabin temp would increase rapidly. But took about 10-15 minutes for the temp to raise from 24 Deg to 28-29 Deg C as I see in Air Page.     When I load the T7 with everything running and I program the FMC with the arrival ILS runway,in the NAV/RAD display it loads automatically the arriving ILS frequency. When though I load the T7 in the cold and dark state and complete all the procedures and the programming of the FMS as before the correct ILS in the NAV/RAD display is not shown. Any ideas? stelios

  18. I tried the Ground Operations option today for the first time and I think I did something wrong. I loaded the 777 with Long Turnaround panel state. Then started Ground Operations at 55 minutes. I did not enter any fuel initially while I worked on my flight plan and fuel plan with PFPX. After getting the fuel number and entering it in Plan Fuel line, I realized that my planned fuel was much lower than the full load that the panel state had initially loaded. When I tried to zero out the fuel, the FMC gave me a Ground Operations message and would not allow any change but this left the fuel at the wrong value.   19. Have the T7 configured to permit acquiring APP before LOC, but the plane is acting weird. It for some reason drifts sideways off the ILS beam even though both Horizontal and Vertical Purple Diamonds show in the PFC. What am I missing? There is a setup setting for use FSX course which is ENABLED. Should that be disabled?

    Hi folks, I've done some searching and I can't see where this problem has come up before so I guess I'll have to resort to asking :smile: . I keep getting this error when I try to run either PMDG Operations Center.exe or OpsCenterUpdater.exe : As near as I can tell (by googling the hex code 0xc000007b) it has something to do with visual C++ libraries. I assume the T7 installer would have checked and downloaded anything that wasn't present on my system and I think that may be where the problem lies.     Hi, I've been trying to download some documentation for the 777 from the Operations Centre, but it never does anything. When I hover the mouse over it, it underlines, but when I click on it nothing happens. I've looked through the provided introduction manual but found nothing related to the documentation section of the ops centre. I have tried running the Operations Centre as admin to no avail. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

  23. A lot of people have claimed that performance was better with the 777 than the 737. Honestly, I am having all sorts of issues with the 777 and I think the performance pales in comparison to the 737. I just had a three hour flight that CTD as I was on approach to land. Frequently when I go to move my camera view around the cockpit the screen freezes temporarily. When I switch to outside views it takes longer for the plane to fully appear than it does with the 737. I've made many flights with the 737 without any of these issues, so I am not sure what the problem could be. These stutters really break the immersion and I found myself flying the 737 again.     Yesterday after about six flawless flights in the 777, I was taking off out of LAX heading to PHKO. During the climb I decided to switch to the out side view. The aircraft always shows the skeleton view and then fills in. Just as I switched, I got the blue screen, Had to hold down the start button on the computer to shut it down. I cam back a couple hours later and loaded another flight, and it flew flawless. I did notice before the crash that the EICAS was not displaying the out flow valve indicators, duct press, diff press ind etc, at the bottom of the screen. They only displayed when I selected the Pneu page. When I flew it the second time, These items displayed when…
