PMDG 777

Good Day all, I have been a few problems that if I want to roll after the push, does not accept throttle when I have the A / T ARM switch on arm. I need to turn off those first, then it works, the only off then turn on again after take off, otherwise I can not start. After take off I keep the back and then by the autopilot automatically assigned to the thrust. SRY because this post was posted 3 time... if i want to save this post i've become an Error... 2 of this Posts can be deleted!

Hi guys, I rotated a bit too fast during my takeoff with a 777-200F out of Dubai to Athens. I had a warning light and sound a few hundred feet above ground level, I thought it was a configuration warning. Suddenly I noticed TAIL STRIKE on the screen. I thought it would not cause any problems later in flight. When I reached FL320, cabin altitude warning starts to sound, I immediately descended to 10,000 feet and below. And returned to Dubai. During the descend I dumped as much fuel as possible. Luckily I was flying over sea, so a kerosine shower was not that bad.. Only to find out, the FMC whining about a runway/ILS freq. mismatch. Hey all, Just was wondering how much thrust it takes you guys to keep the 777 moving when taxiing. Before I got the aircraft I was under the impression that, like all planes, you need a bit of thrust to get the plane initially moving but once that happens (with those big GE-90 engines) the plane can taxi with idle thrust pretty much (except maybe when turning). Maybe I was wrong because, for me, once I get the plane moving I will need to keep a bit of thrust throughout the taxi (even in a straight line). If I bring the power levers down to idle the 777 will slow down to an eventual stop. Is this realistic? Joel

I get an Raas error when starting FSX. If I say no, not to run the Raas, I can continue, and run FSX. If, I say yes, run the Raas, FSX will crash... It was working fine for several months. I'll try to upload a screen shot. Jerry

Hi there Just started my first flight with the PMDG 777 and noticed that the VC textures resolution is very low. Thought there would be a settings menu for that in the OC but sadly the 'Display Settings' module is missing for the 777. I have the latest OC updated soon after installation.

Hi all! I'm currently setting all the camera's in the pmdg777. The cockpit camera's are working, but when I go outside the airplane, I cant see the airplane. I only see the inside of the cockpit from the outside of the airplane. I cant see wing, or the fuselage.. I have wideviewaspect=True Thanks, Daan

Hi captains! Again I have an issue with the 77L brakes: Course of events: 0. I cannot find a braking bug in 1. I flew ACA33 CYYZ-CYVR-YSSY and had *no* problem to brake before the take-offs and after the landings. 2. Sitting at YSSY the random fault 'REPAIR ALL BRAKES' kicked in, and now it is unclear what we shall do, either or both of the following? 2.1 Is it sufficient to clear this fault in PMDG SETUP/AIRCRAFT/FAILURES/WHEEL AND BRAKES? I cleared it here. Done. 2.2 Shall we also use the option in FS ACTIONS/GROUND MAINTENANCE/REPLACE BRAKES? I did so additionally. The line greyed out. Done. 3. Hi there Im having a couple of issues with this plane and im clueless in how to get it to work right. First im trying to do a flight from OMDB-KLAX ,so when i go to Auto cruise to speed up the flight to 4 X so i dont have to wait 13 hours to land the plane doesnt not follow the flight plan that i programmed on the FMC at all. I purchased the 777 and the 747 yesterday and haven't be able to download the 777. The download keeps getting stuck in different spots. I have downloaded up to 300MB and then it stops. The 747 had similar issues but I kept trying and then it went through.

I did a search but apparently no one has got my small issue. Sometimes, even if I disconnect GPU, ASU, ACU within the CDU, I have the GPU which stays attached to the aircraft, visually speaking. What was my surprise, after takeoff, switching to external view and see this little cart floating in the air near the aircraft !!!! I will try to take a picture next time. Is it a known issue ? Will it be corrected in the coming SP1 ? Hey everyone! Just purchased the PMDG 777 installed it, love it! Problem is, when I load of FSPassengers the mini-display for some reason glitches, theres like some sort of tachometer behind it with the arm swinging back and forth but it glitches within the blue of the fspassengers display. what is causing this? Doesn't happen with my 737-800, I have EZDoK installed and scenery mods for the most part. Any help is great, for some reason because of that the turbulence doesn't work as well for the passengers, theres 62kts winds coming at me tons of turbulence but nothing registering on the psfassengers display.. thanks!

For the last couple of flights, my 777 is doing something incredibly annoying. Which is. On approach, flaps 20, gear down, vref + 5 set, loc and g/s captured.. The engines keep spooling up, resulting in vref + 20 and more.. Hitting the speedbrakes results in a very slow speed drop, but when near to vref + 5 and speedbrakes off, the A/T again spools up, making the plane overspeed again. This never happened to me before until the last couple of flights in the plane.

I followed the Cold and Dark Start Procedures from page 0.00.109 of the tutorial and stopped after setting up the FMC on page 0.00.112. I saved the flight and closed FSX. When I restarted FSX and opened the saved flight, the initialisation was as usual and everything looked normal except the right CDU was blank. As I waited, I could hear the sounds of the system self test including the speaker sound and I could see the right CDU become active. For comparison, I restarted FSX with the standard 777 then changed the panel state to Short Turn. Hi fellows simmers, im a newbee in t7, im comming from 737NGX (4000 Vatsim hrs). This is my 3 attempt to fly this bird, and i dont know what its this simbol (red lines). Im turn on the battery and the red clues are they displayed, im follow all the check list and........there is. In the manual PMDG-777-FCOMv2, page 1211, show me something similar (VSI TCAS RA Band). how i could fix or hide, or ...any way. Whats that.................. Tks in advance for youre help.

Hi All, Due to bad manupiation into fsx/pmdg/navdata to update the maddog airac i am now facing an issue with my fmc pmdg and can not update it to 1402 and i am having an error message on the fmc NOT IN DATA BASE, pls how to fix this and make my pmdgT7 works as it tused working. Rgds Sid

Hi fellow pilots, I've looked but can't seem to narrow down if others are having the same problem I'm having. Ok so I've used the Bojote tweak and I've tried the Word Not Allowed software guide and inserted the uianimationcore.dll neither seems to fix my freezing issue. I don't see a blue screen and my fsx doesn't show any messages other than "not responding" on the top menu bar. This can happen even if I just watch progress and not even touch a button. I am using both PMDG 737-800 and -900 ngx and PMDG 777 my weather is provided by REX+OD ver 3.6.2013.0415. I love these two planes and hope to fly without losing my mind.
