Hi! I'm painting the Etihad Visit Abu Dhabi 2014 on the PMDG 77L and am ready so far. The only problem is the rear section of the plane with all its circles... Because the fuselage is not in one peace anymore in the back, it looks like in the pictures. Is there any way to solve this problem professionally, which means, that i do not really want to try and look if it fits or not... https://www.dropbox.com/s/etkifa6t5n7zfc2/PMDG_772LR_Fuse_Master_TEST.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfw79onltuf5213/2014-3-23_20-43-20-563.BMP Thank you in advance J. I was 4 hours into my flight and this happened. I could see some buttons disappearing and when I changed views it was all gone. Even if I press the option key the menu on the top of the screen doesn't show up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are some discussions that the new drivers for Nividia (335.23) for Series 6 and 7 cards are saving around 300-500MB of VAS memory. Some users have tested it and confirm the results. Here is the link, http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/5169-the-end-of-oom-issue-with-conc/ Unfortunately currently do not have time to check my self but just mention it in case you want to try.

From unknown reason sometimes FMC does not want to calculate V speeds. Whole FMC is set: route, runways, SID/STAR, flaps, trim..., but FMC still give message "V speeds unavailable" What is the reason ?, why sometimes FMC can sometimes cannot calculate V speeds ?

Hi, I'm a 777 pilot and thought it would be a handy training/revision tool to add the FSX software and PMDG 777 to my new iMac. I'm running VMWARE fusion with windows 7, but haven't been able get anywhere near the level of graphics I'd hoped. The cockpit graphics are blurred and I can only operate switches because I know what should be there. I've tried altering the visual settings, but have not seen any improvement. If anyone has experience enough to advise me I'd be most grateful. It's easier flying the real thing!

I posted this on the PMDG forum, but it should have probably gone here. I just loaded a new MS FSX Gold on to my secondary HD I've reserved for flight sim stuff only. No Win 7 OS or other programs. The instalation went okay, but I re-downloaded PMDG 777, got to the install screen and I get a popup screen that said I have an older version of MS FSX and to install FSX Service Pack 2. I thought the Acceleration Pack took care of that problem, but when I try to install FSX SP2 I get a screen telling me I have to install FSX SP1 first. Only problem is that the download page says do not install FSX SP1 if the Acceleration pack is already installed, which it is, with MS FSX Gold…

Hello, I just saw something different from real 777. As we know 777's Vne speed is 0.87 mach, some sources says 0.89 too, which is correct? Anyway, there is a contradiction about real Vne speed and simulator's Vne speed, as you can see in this picture, same flight level on simulation, we can reach max 0.80 mach. I make a test, when i pass this Vne speed, FSX's OVERSPEED warning comes after +20 knots after i pass the Vne speed on the PFD ( OVERSPEED warning comes at 350 knots) As you can see in this picture plane can reach 0.844 mach and 350 knots indicated. Is this a known bug or something? How can i equalize this Vne speed with real 777? …

So, I've watched both and loved both, they had very interesting moments too Regarding the Just Planes Air Canada movie covering Toronto-Hong Kong and back: - More than 4 hours of material covering every part of the flight and with detailed crew explanations. There's a long section on the flight preparation and briefing and another long section on the EFB. - I liked the Captain on the flight a lot, seemed quite a nice guy. There's a 30min section in which he tells his story, what he does and how Air Canada works. - There's a moment when they get a final vector to the ILS but the vector is too close to the runway so that they intercept the GS before the …

Hi all, I loaded to the fmc a route to KIAD and noticed there is an almost 180 deg turn just 10nm before landing. I'd like to add a custom waypoint so to somehow "round" the path to the runway. In the PMDG 737 FMC I'd add a FIX/BRG/DIST waypoint like MOSBY/290/10, but I do not find a way to go with the 777 FMC. Just opened the FIX page, added the FIX as per the FMC screen fields - MOSBY at LSK 1L, 290/10 at LSK 2L - and it looks there are no errors, but then I do not find ways to copy the fix, paste it into the legs page and include it into the active route I'm flying right now Can someone advise on how to do ? Thanks a lot in advance Aldo

So I bought a nice motherboard bundle which consists of i5 4670K overclocked to 4.2Ghz, ReFlex Asus Z87, 8GB of RAM at 1600mhz and Alphenfohn Brocken CPU cooler. I'm upgrading from a FX-6200 @3.6 GHz and Gigabyte 970A with 4GB of RAM on stock cooler. Would this improve the framerates noticeably for FSX, PMDG 777/NGX, all FSDreamteam sceneries, UK2000, ORBX landclass scenery, REX and ASN? I know it's a lot of add-ons but I always disable the sceneries that I don't require if I'm flying into that airport or flying over that area. I would also be configuring the hell out of my fsx.cfg file without a doubt. What are your opinions about it?

Since all 777 users have RAAS, I thought I'd share this with you. Sometimes a RAAS user would report that, out of the blue, FSX would spit up a "FSX has detected a problem with 3rd party software (RAAS)" on startup. This was really hard for us at FS2Crew to troubleshoot because the users would say RAAS worked before and they changed nothing on their system. Well, if this ever happens to you, please read this from Pete Dowson. In short, the solution is to select 'YES' over and over again until it works. It's just a weird -and rare- Simconnect bug associated with Simconnect timing. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/68382-fsx-fails-to-run-after-fsuip…

I just bought and installed my new toy. Wonderful. Great product. A small issue that I noticed is this. In the new Operations Centre > 777 Menu > Documentation page, all the 777 Documentations appear on the right pane. When I click on them to open nothing happens. They do not open. However on the 737NGX equivalent I can open all of the documents. I know this is not a critical issue, but the Operations Centre is neat and nice to be able to access everything from one place. Thanks ahead for any ideas

I've had to re-install the 777. Problem is that I had dedicated F 10 to use as a pop up for the Overhead panel . But...It turns out that I've forgotten the steps to do that. Can anyone help me out with this.? A senior moment I guess. Jack Fentress

Hey guys, anyone noticed how AutoThrottle works during turbulence on the approach phase? I have to disengage it and operate thrust levers manually. If not, than it's impossible to reach Vref. AT holds ~Vref+30kt. Any thoughts of it? Wondering how it happens in real life with AT of 772

I'm puzzled. Over the past couple of weeks, for obvious reasons, our media here in the UK have been showing B777 simulators (full motion) and have been homing in on a switch which is supposedly to the left of the squawk transponder, which can be turned to switch it off. Other conflicting reports say it is not as easy as that. I cannot find such a switch on the configs of the T7 that I use on FlightSim. Does this switch exist on any examples? I cannot believe that PMDG got this wrong. It does beg the question why would you want to switch the transponder off? Iain Smith

Hello all, I am not sure if this is the correct spot for this. But I read the .pdf on how to take the winds from AS2012 and set it so that the FMC can use them I tried it, but I can't save or copy the highlighted information. I highlight the area needed, but when I right click to copy, nothing. It does not give me that option. Is this an AS2012 problem or computer. I love this plane and is really cool to fly, still trying things out, but very enjoyable. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you

Since my recent purchase and install of PMDG777, FSX hangs with "a fatal error has occurred ..." every time I exit from FSX. Note if I fly other aircrafts other than the 777, FSX exits gracefully. I have also uninstalled FSIUPC which has reports about causing FSX to crash on exit, but this did not resolve my problem. Anyone encountered this problem or know the cause? I'm running Win 7 64-bit with 6GB RAM.

Hey guys, I was just wondering In real life, would they put copilot's chronometer mode to ET (elapsed time) before takeoff too, or just captain's? I thought both would go to ET, but if I think better, they may need a chronometer for other calculations in flight. Now, I would assume that different company SOPs vary, but what's the most common one? And is there a way to return to ET without resetting it after CHR button was pressed (or CLOCK on the side panel)? Also on the video below, after 14th second, it's shown that the hand on the clock goes smoothly, not 1 by 1. Is this something PMDG made that way due to limitations of FSX (eg FPS impact for the animation) or bug?…

Simple : Holy $?&/ this airplane is AMAZING! The framerates are incredible for something as detailed, it flies like a dream, I'm incredibly surprised! I took her for a YUL-CDG, built the plan in PFPX, imported the route and the winds in the FMS, set up the step climb and the auto-cruise... That flight in around 2 hours with the autocruise is incredible. I had quite a heavy crosswind on approach, and it hand flies really well! I wasn't great, but on a first flight, it wasn't that bad! Reacts really well to the rudder. Those GE engines are powerful! Climbing at 3,400fpm and it didn't seem to sweat at all! She was still doing 2,500+ at a FL350 step -…
