PMDG 777

For you triple 7 captains out there... While in TOGA mode, will the auto throttle logic prevent the plane's speed from going beyond the flaps schedule during normal ops? I've notice in the sim that after takeoff the plane will accelerate past the point at which I need to retract flaps 1, up, etc.... Is this normal? Is it up to me to keep this from happening? I made a previous post about this before, but it seems like when taxiing the 777 I find that I need to keep the N1 at least 23.5% or more to keep the plane moving, and the plane will keep gaining groundspeed. But, lowering the N1 any less will eventually slow the plane down to a stop. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground and it seems that I always have to keep adjusting power to have it at the right speed. How realistic is this? Hello, Ever since I got the 777 it seems that whenever I load the provided panel states from the FMC it is hard to get the default, FSX ATC utility to work properly. The main issues being the when I open up the ATC window and try select any of the options with the numbers on my keypad, they all seem to be stuck. What I mean by this is, you can see the window responding to the keystroke (the line highlighting like its being selected) but it wont go to the next window. I've tried to mainly set the frequencies in the Comms but that doesn't work. If I don't load a panel state it works fine. Suggestions? Thanks, Joel

hi folks is there a way to set the the aircraft or sim to pause x nm before t/d, for ex: 140 nm to compleet checklists and dastination weather check etc. we have the option in the fmc to pause AT t/d wich is actually around 10 nm before. can we change that number ? thanks

Hi guys, I was intrigued into how the 777 auto engine and wing anti ice systems were going to work within FSX and as expected, with the current build, the pmdg 777 never turns on the engine anti ice when flying through moisture when the temp is +10c and below.. With the new ASN builds and relationship is it now possible that PMDG can accurately detect clouds and therefore moisture to then activate the AUTO anti ice systems? Or are we going to keep on manually turning it off and on? Regards, Alex

Hi, The other day I did several very short flights in the 777, of around 20 minutes each. I left the aircraft sat on the ramp for a couple of hours after the second flight (I had been familiarizing myself with the operation of RNAV approaches). I came to do a 3rd flight, but when I tried to enter the departure airport (EGKK), instead of it entering in LSK2L, it caused the page title "RTE1" to be replaced with "@@@@@;3#". It didn't accept the departure airport, either (still showed boxes). It wouldn't accept any airport as departure, and the DEP/ARR page was also blank, comesurate with not having a departure airport. Hi, I have noticed 2 things, and I don't know what do you think about it? I find that when you are not using the ezdok camera you don't really feel the touchdown, I mean I don't really hear a touchdown sound exept the speedbreak deployment. The second thing is the throttle reduction when you do a landing with the A/T, I find that this throttle reduction is too long, and it supposed to be pretty fast. In my case I have an homemade made throttle and I have to press the reverse handle to accelerate the reduction. ( thing which is not really realistic , I mean press the reverse handle at 30 ft)... Hi, I've just noticed that raas is no longer present on my computer, if I go in the fsx menu odd-on modules, there's no raas items, I didn't do anything special on my fsx during last times, what could have happened? is it fixable without reinstalling the T7 from the scratch?

Hello everybody! Is there someone who can tell me the maximum range of the PMDG 777-200LR WITHOUT installed aux tanks? I´m asking becouse i installed these tanks in my PMDG T7, but i really can´t find a route to use them. Is not the range of this aircraft more that enough without these extra-tanks? Do you use them? What about the "real" 777-200LR operators: Are these aux tanks installed in Delta -200LR´s? I hope that you can answer my questions!
