PMDG 777

Hi, I have the PMDG 777 installed, but without an activation window appearing. I looked into the OPs Centre but there appeared to be no prompt for activation. The result is that I have a red cross over my PFD, a totally red altitude tape etc. Is there a work around or should I generate a support ticket?

Anyone know how to turn off the head movement effect under acceleration or g force, in the 777, or whether it is, indeed, possible, please? I've searched the forum but had no results. Probably not using the right terminology. I turned this off in FSX on the default aircraft a long time ago so can't remember where I did that. I'd be grateful for any help. Iain Smith

Hi today I was in route to kphl and my kid by mistake opend the ram air turbine and press the switch. I land the apple at kphl and park. I open the maintenance page on the fms but there is no function to retract the ram air turbine. Can some one please tell me were in the maintenance section is that function. All I see is refill hyd fluid, refill engine oil, service apu scd motor, refill fire bottles, and on the second pg cool brakes, replaced brakes, and replaced tires. But there is no ram air turbine retraction. So I'm really need some help on how to do it . Tank

Are you flying the -300 yet? How do you like it? Does it really feel different from the LR? How do the "fixes" on the LR make her a way better bird to fly than initial release? Does the WXR add a level of realism never seen before in FSX and have you had to adjust your track a lot to move around weather? Have you tried flying through the bad weather to see if it impacts the flight? Can you say anything about data link? Any hints for us as to what is does in the simulation? Any hints as to what it doesn't do? Yep, some stupid questions for you, and some questions you probably can't answer but at least I tried. :canada-flag: Cheers

Hello folks, after going through the normal preflight and before start flows and checklists I keep on encountering the same issue over an over again when starting the second engine. Master caution comes on without any EICAS message, the MASTER CAUTION cannot be reset and remains illuminated until I kill and restore AC power to the airplane. Am I missing something obvious? Hi there.. The landing gear on my 777 is not visible... It is purchased and I have had it for some time... All the paints are effected... My 737-800NGX is fine... Any ideas? Thanks! Mark

Loving the new T7- wondering if there is a way to set the plane up to default in INCHES instead of hectoPascals? Yes, I can rotate the knob, but since the ATC is giving me the readings in inches- it would be one less thing to do when beginning a flight. If not possible, of course I can live with it, just wondering if someone out there knows of a way to default it to inches? Thanks in advance, and YES, I did 'read' the introduction and manual. However, I certainly might have missed it.

At First i would thank PMDG for their wonderful "Triple seven" i am a newbie at this forum, so i beg your parden. i was looking for a trouble shooting topic for he 777, but i was not able to find anything(maybe i am still to newbie)But anyway, recently reinstalled FSX from my C: drive to my D: drive. I then tried to reinstall PMDG from my computer. There started my problems. i couldn´t uninstalll it. i could´t remove it either remove it, or do anything. People will now believe that I have done illegal things, but i have bought it from PMDG. so i need some help here. Thanks Vegard

Hey guys, I am having a strange issue. I can't seem to import an Aivlasoft EFB generated plan to the 777 departing from EHAM. I originally wanted to take the LRF from EHAM to RJTT, but I get 'INVALID ENTRY' and an error message of 'Destination airport not found in selected .rte file : Import Aborted' I tried flightplans to other destinations, all have the same error. The flight plans are accepted fine in 747v1, MD-11, and NGX. I then moved the 777 to EIDW, created a EIDW-RJTT plan in Aivlasoft EFB. The EIDW RJTT plan imported fine. The plans show up in the Route Request too. Flightplans going to EHAM were fine as were all previous Aivlasoft EFB generated …

Hello to everyone! I'm experiencing some problems with my T7. Since last weekend I've been trying to solve them and I even made a complete uninstall and reinstall of my FSX last night and my first problem is resolved (which was that my T7 couldn't complete the system preparation countdown at the beginning of each flight what made it impossible to fly due a strange behavior -I think related to a no proper configuration process-) . Well, now that problem has gone but during the cockpit preparation procedures, when my PFD NAV display and EICAS come alive they would only sow some basic graphics but any information. I took some photos so they can explain what's happening bet…

I use EZDok, and downloaded a profile for the 777 before I even tried out the aircraft. I get nothing but a floating cockpit in the exterior model and an aircraft shadow. That's it. I tried disabling EZDok-- no change. I also loaded some NGX profiles I have-- still no change. I have run the configurator tool but I get a notice to contact EZdok support about something about world camera locations. regardless, I've always gotten that error and it's still been fine with other aircraft. I am clueless as to the next step here. The aircraft works fine it seems, but I would really like to iron this problem out. Here's a screenshot for reference:

I've since discovered that such failures are not persistent, meaning that this failure would be very unlikely to lead to FWD CARGO FIRE DET FAULT and subsequent failure of the FIRE TEST. Is there a way to make failures persistent automatically or do I have to save the panel state every time? Best regards, Robin.

Hi guys, I was intrigued into how the 777 auto engine and wing anti ice systems were going to work within FSX and as expected, with the current build, the pmdg 777 never turns on the engine anti ice when flying through moisture when the temp is +10c and below.. With the new ASN builds and relationship is it now possible that PMDG can accurately detect clouds and therefore moisture to then activate the AUTO anti ice systems? Or are we going to keep on manually turning it off and on? Regards, Alex

Good evening, I just recognized after I trained my landings that the reverser stops sometimes working. After landing I'm going with my Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick in Idle and then applying with F2 the reverser. But after a few seconds it sometimes goes back to idle without moving something at the joystick thrust. Is this is a problem with my joystick and how can I fix it? Of course with a Vref of 137 you don't really need a reverser on a dry 4000m RWY but it just annoys me Greetings

New to the 777, would someone mind telling me where I can enter NAV frequencies in the 777? I've looked inside the FMC, pedestals, and have not found nothing (or maybe I have, just haven't noticed it). Thanks.
