Hi, Departing the Maldives on the way back to Dubai, APU is inop & the right engine has a minor fault 'BLEED PRSOV R'. The Mel says it is ok to depart, however I need to reduce my RTOW due to the right pack being inop. TOPCAT won't provide this data & I only have Airbus data. Any 777 drivers that know what the weight reduction is? I am going to try and get hold of some software in the next week or so. Cheers

Good evening, I don't know if this the correct place to ask this but this afternoon i bought the PMDG 777 and i started my first flight immidiately and after 800 NM on the way to JFK my instruments froze and they still are at the moment when i click on them the popup works just fine but the virtual cockpit doesn't. These are password and copy protected, how do I print these off (or otherwise) for viewing whilst i'm actually in FSX and using the aircraft? I'd like to be able to run through the procedures of this learning simulation without having to Alt+Tab out of fullscreen every time i want to click the next button or knob in the cockpit. I don't have a second screen or PC or tablet device to view them on, either.

Hi, After a successful 777 installation and activation 3 or 4 weeks ago, many happy flights from 4 to 5 hours, tonight, after loading the T7 at KMCO, the activation box appeared. Well, of course I didn't expect that, but in any case, I entered my serial. The dialog is like that: Activating your product... Context created... Error... And my T7 is parked there without gears and dead buttons and moving parts. I swear my internet is working fine and I did not change any part in my new PC since I received it a month ago. Captains, I think it is a well known fact that the PMDG 777, is on most systems by far a better perfomer than the NGX. I personally have been flying the 737NGX since the date that PMDG had released it and have had good perfomance with it. My system you will know is by and far one of the slowest systems anyone will dare have to run such complex simulations, but well i have been running it and as a person who is far less worried about touching the 30 fps mark, have been happy...thus far. Hi guys, I had a weird problem last night I haven't experienced before. Was cruising on autopilot but the plane just kept rocking up and down. There was a tail wind but no turbulence. I panned to an outside view and it looked like my elevators were trying to push the plane down while the autopilot was trying to keep the plane up ( or vice versa ), and I kept getting an "altitude warning". Later on I noticed that the trim tab to the left of the speed brake lever was set at zero. I then adjusted it to around 2.5 (as it was at take-off) and it seemed to stabilise things. Evening Folks! On a test flight from LOWW-OMDB earlier today I took the following shots. On reflection (pardon the pun!), they show the WXR doing its everyday thing rather effectively, so I thought I'd share them here. Up until now, night flying with live weather has necessarily required the PIC to visually avoid areas of bad weather and/or turbulence. If - like me - you use an ENB-series or SweetFX type filter to enhance the darkness, this is near on impossible. I'm sure many of you are like me in that ploughing into a thunderstorm detracts from the experience somewhat. You wouldn't do it in a real 777 after all! Having a problem with the T7 - the CDUs won't allow me to reset brake temps after a not-so-good landing. I assume it's done by going to the failures menu, then selecting "reset brake temps", changing the "active" field to "no" and then hitting the execute button, right? Because it doesn't seem to be working. I've tried everything but the brake temps are stuck at 10. ~CK

Hello all, I couldn't find this in the manual but if RAAS is not selected (not installed) as a customer option on the 777, what does the GND PROX RUNWAY OVRD switch do on the overhead panel? Is it more of an inop switch at that point? Thanks in advance.

Hi I have a little problem of au THRUST LIM page. I once took a picture. There TO 1 and TO 2 missing Is this normal? I have 3 aircraft installed the 777F Aero Logic and Emirates and the Emirates 777LR. In both planes, from Emirates I have the problem. I have FSX completely reinstalled yesterday and have not changed anything on the aircraft. Maybe someone has an idea. Best Regards

I want to enter a specific number, say 123122 kgs of fuel. When I enter it into the FMC, it enters 123104. Why is it rounding down?

Hi, I've done several time the excellent PMDG Malé-Dubai tutorial by Ryan. Until the SP1 is released, I would like to continue learning through a new flight. Apparently there is no third-party written (pdf) tutorial flight for the PMDG 777 yet, freeware or payware. If available and reasonably priced, I am willing to buy. So I was thinking about the old PSS777, searched Google hard but could not find any written complete step-by-step flight tutorial. Maybe I should buy the Just Flight/PSS777 but I do not know if a tutorial flight is included? Can you help please?

Has anyone else noticed that even with the latest airac cycle that the "LAM" transition to either 27L or R does not work and has you do a weird 540 degree turn over north London? In addition, the "LAM" fix and many other published fixes are not properly shown in the fmc as they are with the real chart. I never had this issue with the 744.

Hi, I am pretty sure someone had asked a similar question in here long time ago, but there isnt any answer in that post. So basically I host a multiplayer session with my PMDG 777LR loaded and my friend chose the same aircraft to start with. As soon as he is in the flying world, everything in his cockpit is dark and cold and there wasnt a count down for initialization. After 30 sec or so his FSX got a fatal error and force to quit. Has anyone successfully hosted a game with pmdg 777? Thanks

Hello everyone, I just bought the PMDG 777 and went into FSX to find the T7 is invisible. I cannot see the livery, wings, tail or anything. When I am in outside view of aircraft all I can see is the passengers seats. Does someone know how to fix this? Nate
